Feds Created More Regulations in 2015 Than in Any Previous Year

White Gold - This Element Will Power Every Home In America

Regardless of whether or you’re a liberal, conservative, libertarian, or something else entirely, the rapid growth of federal laws and regulations is bad news for everybody. We now live in a society that is ruled by so many laws, no single person can keep track of them all. Which means that no matter who you are or what you do, it’s impossible to go about your daily life without breaking some onerous and vague rule. Any one of us could be fined or imprisoned at any time.

And unfortunately, 2015 was a record-breaking year for new regulations. According to the Office of the Federal Register, which keeps track of government agency rules and public notices, 81,611 pages of regulations and proposed rules were created in 2015. That is significantly higher than 2014’s 77,687 pages, and more than the all time high of 81,405, which was set in 2010.

All told, about 3,378 rules were finalized, and 2,334 regulations are at some stage of consideration. In addition to this, President Obama issued 29 executive orders and 31 executive memorandums (with plenty more to come in 2016). The only question that remains, is what new horrors does the federal register have in store for us this year?

One has to remember that any new statute generates more new codes of regulation through interactions with preceding statutes and codes than any thing previously could have.

Ah yes, the vehicle of “Incrementalism” being Progressively Pushed Forward by Agencies granted “Titles of Nobility.” How’s that working for us so far?

The whole notion of “regulations” and the associated punishments for violating them, is so un-Constitutional-it’s ridiculous. That Americans have put up with this shit for so long is an abomination. Regulations were the cheap way out for lazy ass Congressmen, who didn’t want to spend each and every waking moment wrangling over nitpicking laws to subject the People to. It also absolved them from blame if/when they got out of hand-which, of course, they did.
So, they created “Agencies” who then act-un-Constitutionally-on their behalf-and consequently, f*ck shit up.
God, how I wish the Founders could be resurrected to see the mess we’ve allowed to be made of what was once the freest, greatest nation on Earth. Somehow, I think they knew, and are probably glad they died long before they could bear witness to it. If only we could be so lucky….

Obama needs these regulations to insure Our Republic is crushed with no chance of recovery. It’s all about asuming control and power.

I think the creation of excessive laws and regulation signals the next stage of decline. They (the politicians) think that by passing laws it will solve problems which of course it won’t.

Since I left high school back in the stone age I have been looking for a place called America. I hear people say we are in America but when I look I do not see the place I was taught to expect, instead I see a corrupt Gulag that happens to have the appearance of being open and free. In reality this nation was formed to extract the wealth of the land and the people, it was never free and it never will be while the carpet baggers are out of their cells.
We need to reopen the state hospitals and put these people back where they belong. Sure they will resist but then isn’t that what we are hoping for anyway.
