FBI Arrests Suspected Teenage Car Bomber In Chicago

A preliminary hearing will be held tomorrow afternoon for a teenager accused of plotting to set off a car bomb outside a bar in downtown Chicago. The bomb was a fake and was provided by undercover FBI agents. Eighteen year old Adel Daoud, an American citizen who lives in the Chicago suburb of Hillside, unknowingly chatted with FBI agents online after he called for the killing of Americans. The FBI set up a sting operation by introducing Daoud to what he believed was another terrorist living in New York. After several months of planning, Daoud reportedly attempted to set off the bomb and was immediately arrested by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. So, the Feds gave this guy a fake car bomb?
Kind of like that underwear bomber fella a couple years back… Glad they stopped him too… That was the incident they used as a reason to put backscatter machines in every airport and pat down grannies in wheelchairs…
I think we need to immediately close all bars in the country, or at the very least have TSA checkpoints at every private business. You never know when the next terrorist will actually be given a working bomb!

Interesting, who are the ones attracted by this ideology …
They don’t set anyone up. The kid was fool enough to reach out to someone to commit a crime and is dumb enough to talk to an informant and get caught. They (law enforcement) did their job.
Not the same as entrapment. They didn’t go to him he went to them.

Entrapment would be if someone from law enforcement
(Fed or local) went out and enticed/coerced someone to commit a crime that they otherwise would not commit. This was not the case. This kid wanted to blow something up and went to find the means to do so and made the mistake of talking to an informant. that is not entrapment.
So another mentally ill is fooled by law enforcement. Wow they have such a tough job.
