Drone Pilots Get High-Ranked Medals

“Outgoing Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced this week a new medal for desk-bound warriors who control killer robots responsible for the deaths of thousands in South Asia, North Africa and the Middle East. The Distinguished Warfare Medal will recognize drone pilots for their “extraordinary achievements that directly impact on combat operations, but do not involve acts of valor or physical risks that combat entails.”* Remote pilots of unmanned drones are going to receive medals, specifically Distinguished Warfare Medals. What’s more, they will outrank the Purple Heart- a medal for soldiers shot or wounded on the battlefield. Is this really deserved? Government’s way to make drone pilots feel warm and fuzzy so they’ll follow any order (kill Americans) with complete allegiance to their commanding officers, who work for our Furhrer.
Stop with the Nazi references. If you want to make a point raise your argument with logic and back it up with fundamental irrefutable examples instead of hyperbole. THAT I’ll pay attention to.
I’ll answer your question. They DO NOT deserve those metals.
They don’t deserve a medal any more than any other computer operator in the armed forces.
Instead of a medal, I think they should get some metal, as in 9MM metal. Right after they’re tried for treason…

IN stead of giving them metals,they should give them a nobel peace prize,THEY hand them out to all war criminals,kissiger ,obama,adolf hitler,stalin, but you have to kill a lot of people to get one,or be planning to kill a lot of people,I did hear they were in cracker jack boxs now too……………….
THIS truely is the first time I ever heard of anyone who was a total piece of shit, getting a metal for killing children…….oh america,the lord ain’t going to like this,he warned you about harming his little ones,and giving them a metal for it,this ain’t going to fly well with him at all…………………….
