Donald Trump Offers To Help Charlie Gard After UK Sentences Him To Death

As humans across the globe line up in support of government-run health care, many others have taken pause by the incident involving the United Kingdom baby, Charlie Gard.

Charlie has a rare genetic condition and brain damage and his parents, Chris Gard and Connie Yates, are expecting the life support to be turned off on Friday, per government edict.

The contentious issue has been covered by several publications, describing the court as a “death panel”, which they have proven themselves to be by sentencing the baby to death. Right-wing commentator Paul Nehlen accurately described the case as “further proof that socialism kills“. But in a moment of compassion, the president of the United States is offering to help.

Charlie cannot see, hear, move, or cry and has been receiving treatment since last October. But his mother, Ms. Yates, has raised money for his treatment through a crowdfunding website. She said that the crowdfunding money would go to a charity for mitochondrial depletion syndrome if Charlie was not able to benefit from the funds.

The courts ruled that Charlie’s parents could not seek treatment in the United States, so it’s hard to say if they would be allowed to do so now that the president has offered.

What exactly gives the government in the UK the power to decide how parents should treat their children and who should live or die? Well, government lovers, of course. Whether you love Donald Trump or hate him with a burning passion, his kindness and respect for life in this situation has shown through.  The world could use more compassion, and although we at The Daily Sheeple are often harsh on Donald Trump when he deserves it, he has earned a pat on the back for extending his hand to parents whose world is crumbling thanks to the court-ordered death of their son.

As long as he’s not from the middle east of course then the little guy would get white phosphorus, what propaganda.

    • TrevorD

      Renee, sorry dont understand??

      • renee ciccioni

If any of these politicians really cared about any child they would end their wars , if they really cared they would be front and center of real health care , I really do hope that little boy gets the help he needs but this attempt by Donald Trump or any other Republican putting on like they care reminds me of Terry schiavo .

        • TrevorD

Agree to most of it but only Republicans are guilty of of the these crimes?, probably all politicians, they have little shame or dignity.

          • renee ciccioni

I did mean any of them ,Democrats are just as bad, agree about the shame and dignity your right.

        • TickTock

          Trump isn’t a politician….maybe that’s why he cares.

    • John Wayne

Obviously you have absolutely no concern for the little baby. People like you make me want puke. You don’t have a damn clue what you’re talking about you brain dead mindless twat. Your obviously are too stupid to realize

the war machine has more power than the president or the Queen of England. Who do you think runs all mainstream media outlets you twit. Pull your head out of your ass and open your eyes. If Donald Trump is willing to help this little guy what skin is it off your ass. And by the way Donald Trump is not Republican or a damn Democrat. He received zero dollars from the Republicans. He self-funded his campaign. And his wages for becoming president is one dollar. If you would like to criticize someone pull your head out of your ass and see how much good George Soros has done for the world.

      • renee ciccioni

Oh please I am not the one who signed off on bombing cities and towns that have children living in them but they probably don’t count because they are not European ,so the whole phony act is nothing but PR , and further more he did so collect money from the same contributors that contribute to Republicans that’s how he paid himself back then he himself said he was going to make money off the election and he did. Anyway.

While what you say is true, it doesn’t change that this is a good thing.

  • dav1bg

Wonder if one of the Queens family had this disease that they would “pull the plug” and prevent further treatment.
    Two different sets of laws.

    • TrevorD

I think they would pull the plug, at birth or even before and has probably happened many times. Can`t have an imperfect Royal, that would never do

  • TrevorD

“Charlie cannot see, hear, move, or cry” Also missing fom this he cannot even swallow.
So then we don`t know if he is suffering as he cannot show it. Imagine that for a moment. Imagine that he is in pain and nobody knows….
Politics and everything else aside that`s the only point for me in this case. The headlines suggesting he has been sentenced to death is absurd. He has been kept alive by technology and without it would have died long ago. Again I go back to the point that even if there is small chance that he is suffering then he should be laid to rest naturally and not sent to the US for `experimental` treatment. There are pros and cons and debate could ravage for years but maybe its becoming too political and not so much about him. Still sort of on the fence but sliding more towards, let him go. Sorry…..

    • Lewie Paine

Agree. Now he’s just being used as a political pawn.

      • TrevorD

Absolutely. Think the focus has shifted away from his well being and ONLY his well being to something of a political statement. Whilst I am very much Anti Establishment this is not the right bandwagon to be on. This is purely about Charlie, his quality of life and what is right for him. Just my opinion

    • NonYo Business

I think this is why it was such a huge deal last week. Growing the story so that Trump could save the day… simply put, manipulating the hearts of Americans.

      • TickTock

Hell, why not blame Trump for the baby’s brain damage while you’re at it? Might as well blame him for your unfortunate hair cut too.

        • renee ciccioni

You know I am not putting you down , unless you have a personal relationship with Donald Trump you can’t say he’s a certain way all we have to go on is his TV personality like all of the other politicians.

        • Glyn Davies

Almost cut my hair…it happened just the other day….it was gettin kinda long…CSNY…

      • renee ciccioni

        Absolutely

    • SP_88

I agree, and I too am on the fence about what should be done with him. Part of me wants to do whatever it takes to help him. But there is also a part of me that thinks enough is enough, and just let him go in peace. I feel bad for the parents who must be having a very hard time with this. I know that they want what’s best for their baby, but I can’t help but wonder if part of the reason they want to help him so badly is because they don’t want to have to deal with the pain of losing him. Although, who would?
But I do know one thing. It’s certainly not the government’s job to decide what these people do with their baby, especially since they were able to raise the money to pay for his treatment. It’s not like the government was paying for it. It’s none of their business what these people do or don’t do with their baby.

  • Lewie Paine

I call B.S. when a right wing socialist describes the case as “further proof that socialism kills.“ The right wing does not support free market healthcare. The right wing supports regulated healthcare. Any form of government regulation is socialism by definition.

This guy and trump both are simply playing politics.

  • NonYo Business

Ahhh… So this is why they made a huge deal about this child. So Trump could fly in and save the day. Doesnt hurt either.. this PR bit huh? Manipulation at its finest.

    • Undecider

Or maybe Trump just offered to help. It can be that easy, sometimes. There’s not always a conspiracy behind every bush.

      • NonYo Business

Says the guy with all seeing eye.

        • Undecider

It’s a form of mockery and agitation. You’re getting wrapped around the axle. Come on back to us.

  • AmericaIsToast

U.K., enjoy the migrant rapes, molestation, beheading of your citizens and your socialism. They are all judgment from the Almighty for turning your back on him and going about doing what is right in your own eyes. Sodomy and sexual sin destroy a nation. You are well on your way to being destroyed from within. I also notice your people gave up their guns along with their balls.

  • I am at war

Fuck that little genetic freak. Too many of them alive as it is. Sterilize both parents too. Only way to be sure.

Even dogs and cats know enough to kill defective offspring.
