Digital Terrorists and Cyberbullies: This CNN Clip Shows the Propaganda Push to Demonize All Anonymous and Free Speech on the Web

Top Tier Gear USA

Soon our governments will make sure that nothing we do online is ever private again (if any of it even is now).

First, watch just the first minute or so of this short clip from CNN called “The Danger of Digital Terrorism” featuring Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a leading Jewish human rights organization.

A few snippets that stood out right away:

“…grappling with the issue in terms of hate speech…”

“…there’s an issue when people can say things anonymously…”

“The real crisis right now… when you have some of the other companies that allow for encrypted conversations between individuals uh, without, uh, the opportunity for law enforcement or intelligence to know how a communication goes…”

Abraham goes on to say it is because we’ve seen that people go from Twitter to talking with ISIS soldiers that no one should have any privacy on the Internet… and that’s just in the first minute or so of the clip. He advocates companies taking away all capability for private communications and anonymous speech.

Do you see how this works?

Because some people do bad things, no one anywhere should be allowed anonymity or privacy on the Internet without constant, perpetual government surveillance and intrusion. (Never mind pesky little facts like those people who are doing bad things were funded, trained, armed and essentially created by our government in the first place. Talk about problem-reaction-solution.)

We already know that police are using real-time, pre-crime algorithms to assess a color-coded threat score for anyone they come in contact with via 9-1-1 calls or pull overs that is based on combining everything about a person’s public records with their Internet activity including their social media posts and online purchases:

Now they are going to remove the ability to speak freely on the Internet altogether under the pretext of digital terrorism.

Next, the real clampdown as they criminalize more and more free speech as “hate speech.”

Sure, it might start out with talking to ISIS on Twitter… but where will it end? People who are critical of the government? Websites like this one I’m typing on right now?

Eventually, we will all be deemed digital terrorists and cyberbullies.

What an Orwellian use of language to control everyone’s language.

The time we are living in is beyond 1984.

The war on terror is really just as it has always been: a war on us.

Here’s how you can tell if unadulterated morons and non-sentient pond scum are running things. . .

If a few people do something wrong, and everyone who didn’t do it gets punished. . .

    • Bert

Wait….isn’t that how it’s supposed to be done? That’s how they’ve always done it, I thought that was just “how things are”….

Yeah, seriously, that’s probably the biggest problem with things as they are. Everybody pays the price for the bullshit perpetrated by a single asshole.

    • Hipshot

Only if , we the people, sit quietly and do nothing to stop them. Where is your stopping point? The point where you will not take it anymore? Have you reached that point yet? If you have, or when you do…then what? Make no mistake. Those who are taking your rights away from you and want to fundamentally change this country do not have a limit. They will not stop. You will have to stop them. If not you…who. If not now….when?

      • RufusVonDufus

We are sitting quietly doing nothing thanks to the Republicans in Congress who all except a very, very few lack any cajones at all.

        • Hipshot

Sad but true. They are squandering the majority we gave them. What do you do when you get something that is broken? You replace it with something that is not. Maybe the mistake is thinking that the GOP or DEM’s can provide a solution. If they are broken, then look elsewhere. Can anyone say ‘Ted Cruz’? or anyone outside the beltway.

          • rayzor58

The mistake you are all making is assuming that the Republicans are on a different team than the Dems. Both parties are totally corrupt, if you are waiting for a political answer then you should have voted for Ron Paul. The 2 party system has the same masters. There is only one way to fix this country and the American male has been to feminized to do it. I have watched this country under the Dems and Rep. go from the most powerful, moral, generous richest, free, educated and highest standard of living. To baby killing, largest prison population, %50+ taxes, total a %50 drop out, indebted, police state under complete government control, being robbed of all privacy, torture, high ,homelessness, starving citizens %50 unemployed. Government sanctioned murder of citizens without trial. Politicians that have no responsibility to the public and commit murder without consequence. What are you waiting for?

          to RufusVonDufus

They have been in for (2) months. Do you know the inner workings of the government? Well, when you do, I might listen to you. By the way, what have you done the last (2) months? Shoveled snow, mowed the yard, washed the car, babysat the grandkids, pruned the roses, had the oil changed in your car, washed the windows?

By the way, very fitting name you have.

          • Hipshot

Sup Rufus. Yes I do know how their game works. I used to be a Calif. rep. Went to Washington twice a year for conventions/planning GOP. We came up with great ideas…none were used. Complete waste of time and money. So I quit. I realized our government is nothing more than another corporation. It’s all about the Benjamins. Thanks for asking what I’ve been doing the last 2 months. I have written to 11 senators, signed several petitions to try to protect your freedoms and rights and I went to an intensive tactical rifle school (just in case gov’t diplomacy doesn’t work) What have you done for the last 2 months there asshat?

        • James Whalen

When good people do nothing great nations fail.

          • Franie

To the pits of hades with political correctness!!

          • ralph

And when you do don’t be surprised your arrested or fired!

      • Reverend Draco

I reached that point when I was 19 (now 50). . . assaulted by the peegs for daring to ask why they needed to see my ID as I was handing it to them (Apparently, minding your own business is a crime). Ended with 2 assaulting a peeg convictions on my record out of that, too.

If it should ever happen again – they’ll learn what “assault” really means – I won’t just defend myself as I did before.

      • Franie

        To he!! with political correctness!!

  • Joe Lizak

More CNN lies and nonsense. It’s stories like this on CNN and Fox that made me cancelled my Dish Network and pull the plug on television all together. Every story is a preplanned fiction theater play with one goal in mind. To shape the sheeples behavior into excepting a “solution” to a problem our government made up in the first place. The final straw is the war on ISIS. A group of terrorists trained and funded and now being resupplied by the US government while US planes drop bombs on Syrian children.

    • mr frost

You wont regret it ..I’ve not watched msm in four years and don’t miss it one bit..

  • bill lopez

“Because some people do bad things, no one anywhere should be allowed anonymity or privacy on the Internet without constant, perpetual government surveillance and intrusion.”
Also never mind the fact that bad people don’t care or follow the laws to begin with.

  • Mr Gadget

Gee, what a surprise, more government propaganda. The NSA already gathers every single piece of data from every device world wide…illegally. Even though the CIA admitted to controlling mainstream media in the early 60’s they actually made it legal and normal to control the news with government propaganda in 2013.

  • Joe2D2

Hurry, hide under the fuckin bed and take our rights to disagree with anyone over anything not publicly approved by our Kosher fuckin overlords. Fuck off bitches, even when you say I can’t say what I want to say, I’m still gonna fuckin say it.

    • Reverend Draco

Fuck ’em if they can’t take a joke. . .

Joke ’em if they can’t take a fuck. . .

If they don’t wanna get joked, fuck ’em.

  • mirageseekr

They can try and do this but as far as I can tell it is too late. Too many people have figured out the game. The internet is the prized possession of the awakened, take that away and they are just going to piss us off even more. Why it just might be the thing that gets people off their asses and fighting back.

  • Ted_Zee_Man

I refuse to allow the Elected Men and Women in the U. S. Congress to shame and dishonor the Men and Women who died in the Service of the United States of America to ensure that we always have these RIGHTS.

I refuse to consent to the removal of any single RIGHT I have provided in the U. S. CONSTITUTION. It is not necessary to spy on the U. S. Citizen. It is not necessary to give up our RIGHTS. All we need is to better EDUCATE the Men, Women and children of the United States of America.

What is necessary is for every elected member of the U. S. Congress to perform their Duties and responsibilities to enforce and uphold the U. S. Constitution and all Federal Laws. To create and write more and better Laws to Protect and Serve “We The People.” It cannot and must not be done by removing CITIZENS CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.

    • Hipshot

finally. I wondered how long it would take for you to realize what the problem is. It is not the corrupt, useless elected officials. It is the ignorant, lazy voters that put them there. It is the same stupid voters that keep them there. It is hard to fix stupid. Especially when gov’t figured it out that you can buy voters with taxpayer money! If the american voters don’t wake up soon it will be too late. Your rights will be gone and the voters will still be stupid. A total collapse or a revolution is the only way to fix a system this broken. Clean Slate.

      • Stupid can only be fixed by a miracle.
Ignorance is far more prevalent, and can be largely attributed to children who received no more useful intellectual stimulation before they were consigned to the public fool system than television and toys, and grew up to be equally intellectually stunted adults.

    • There are very few surviving veterans of WW2, our last lawful war. Anyone who fought in any military action since hasn’t enhanced our freedoms in any way.
Treason is defined in the Constitution at Article 3, Section 3, as consisting “only in levying War against (the United States), or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.”All members of the American military take an oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; (and to) bear true faith and allegiance to the same.”
When the military is committed to foreign actions without a declaration of war by Congress, as required by Article 1, Section 8, Paragraph 11 of the Constitution, that is a violation of the Constitution, arguably the action of domestic enemies.
When a member of the military participates in an unconstitutional foreign military deployment, s/he violates both the Constitution and his/her oath to “support and defend” it, giving “aid and comfort” to it’s “domestic enemies,” committing treason by the definition given by the Constitution.

The liberal media constantly use “anonymous sources” as a basis for their reporting. If they didn’t use them they wouldn’t be able to perpetuate their fabricated stories.

    • They could accomplish the same thing with pseudonymic sources, with the same level of credibility in most cases.

  • BSORaiderErie

Only the deranged watch CNN or MSNBC! I hope soon like in Canada we can blunt these corrupt networks speech with ala carte which was passed in Canada. I am sick of paying for the leftwing lunatics free but corrupted speech!

but it’s ok for the idiot in the white house to say anything he wants and causes riots and murder , untill you can start reporting facts instead of fiction , i think you should get out of the news bussiness

  • adrianvance

There is no limit to the money and power wanted by the elected ruling class.

Google “Two Minute Conservative” for clarity.

  • terrymengle

If anonymous speech is illegal then John Jay and the writers (all founders of this nation) of the Federalist Papers are guilty. They used pen names. You cannot eradicate hate, an emotion, from human behavior.

It looks like the liberals are pushing and advocating further spying by government and advocating the more loss of the right of privacy.

    • pjt

      to terrymengle

Never considering what they will do when they lose their right to privacy. Follow the leader.

    • Publius was not very anonymous.

  • pjt

Sounds like Russia and North Korea. Shhhhhh, can’t say anything bad, especially about the government.

    • I have never watched NKTV, but RT is every bit as credible as our best sources.

      • Reverend Draco

As near as I can tell, RT is more credible. . .

  • Joe Lizak

They are on there way to ruining the internet. You tube now is loaded with commercials and pop ups. Trying to view a CBS website is a joke as you’re forced to watch 5 minutes of ads and it takes three minutes to load the website because it loads the commercials first. And what’s with these “flashing” ads now? You’re trying to read a story and on both sides of the screen are these flashing ads that no one ever clicks on. Sickening.

  • James Whalen

The problem is BOTH republicans and democrats. We need individuals to stand up against the political machine.

  • Franie

So what else is new – the Communist News Network – CNN – throwing out the bait hoping we take it. I AM GUARANTEED FREEDOM OF SPEECH regardless of these enemies in our country saying otherwise.

TO HE!! WITH POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!!!! It’s the Left’s way of shutting us up! And I’m not taking it anymore!!

  • obamathemarxist

Hard to believe a jewish person would advocate for policies that sound like something hitler would have done. why are jewish people so Marxist in their politics?
