Two disturbing developments have occurred in the last couple of days that have gone relatively unnoticed compared to the recent IRS, AP, and Benghazi scandals.
First, the senate is debating an expansion of the already broad powers of the 2001 Authorization to Use Military Force (AUMF) so the U.S. can essentially engage any area in the world in the war on terror, including America. Which brings us to the second development: the Pentagon has recently granted itself police powers on American soil.
Assistant Secretary of Defense Michael Sheehan told Congress yesterday that the AUMF authorized the US military to operate on a worldwide battlefield from Boston to Pakistan. Sheehan emphasized that the Administration is authorized to put boots on the ground wherever the enemy chooses to base themselves, essentially ignoring the declaration of war clause in the US Constitution.
Senator Angus King said this interpretation of the AUMF is a “nullity” to the Constitution because it ignores Congress’ role to declare war. King called it the “most astoundingly disturbing hearing” he’s been to in the Senate.
Even ultra-hawk John McCain agreed that the AUMF has gone way beyond its authority.
“This authority … has grown way out of proportion and is no longer applicable to the conditions that prevailed, that motivated the United States Congress to pass the authorization for the use of military force that we did in 2001,” McCain said.
Glenn Greenwald wrote an excellent piece describing how this hearing reveals the not-so-secret plan to make the war on terror a permanent fixture in Western society.
It is hard to resist the conclusion that this war has no purpose other than its own eternal perpetuation. This war is not a means to any end but rather is the end in itself. Not only is it the end itself, but it is also its own fuel: it is precisely this endless war – justified in the name of stopping the threat of terrorism – that is the single greatest cause of that threat.
A self-perpetuating permanent war against a shadowy undefinable enemy appears to be the future of American foreign policy. How convenient for the war machine and tyrants who claim surveillance is safety.
But perhaps most disturbing of all of this is the military’s authority to police American streets as if it was in civil war. For all those still in denial that America is a militarized police state, this should be the ultimate cure to your delusion.
By making a few subtle changes to a regulation in the U.S. Code titled “Defense Support of Civilian Law Enforcement Agencies” the military has quietly granted itself the ability to police the streets without obtaining prior local or state consent, upending a precedent that has been in place for more than two centuries.
The most objectionable aspect of the regulatory change is the inclusion of vague language that permits military intervention in the event of “civil disturbances.” According to the rule: “Federal military commanders have the authority, in extraordinary emergency circumstances where prior authorization by the President is impossible and duly constituted local authorities are unable to control the situation, to engage temporarily in activities that are necessary to quell large-scale, unexpected civil disturbances.”
A law from 1878 called the Posse Comitatus Act was put in place to prevent the Department of Defense from interfering with local law enforcement. But now, the DoD claims they’ve had this authority for over 100 years.
“The authorization has been around over 100 years; it’s not a new authority. It’s been there but it hasn’t been exercised. This is a carryover of domestic policy,” said an unnamed defense official who also emphasized that all soldiers take an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies “foreign and domestic” indicating that citizens are a threat to the Constitution.
Yet, the Constitution is a document that polices the government, not the people. In other words, the only people who can be “enemies” of the Constitution are those who took an oath to defend it. Therefore, only government officials can be an enemy the Constitution.
This follows a recent West Point study that sought to define the American people as “domestic enemies” in order to justify soldiers breaking their oath to corral pesky citizens.
The West Point Terrorism Center wrote that “conspiracy theorists” who worry that local law enforcement will be steadily replaced by federally-controlled law enforcement could potentially be a domestic enemy:
Some groups are driven by a strong conviction that the American political system and its proxies were hijacked by external forces interested in promoting a “New World Order,” (NWO) in which the United States will be embedded in the UN or another version of global government. The NWO will be advanced, they believe, via steady transition of powers from local to federal law-enforcement agencies, i.e., the transformation of local police and law-enforcement agencies into a federally controlled “National Police” agency that will in turn merge with a “Multi-National Peace Keeping Force.” The latter deployment on US soil will be justified via a domestic campaign implemented by interested parties that will emphasize American society’s deficiencies and US government incompetency.
So, as the US military claims to have the authority to be a “National Police” force, researchers who claim there is an agenda to do just that are now labeled as domestic terrorists?
Does this make any sense? Will oath takers see through these ridiculous interpretations and engage the real domestic enemy to the Constitution? Or will they just follow orders when the time comes to crack down on Americans?
Today families of Navy SEAL Team 6 are to reveal the Federal Government’s culpability in the death of their sons in a fatal helicopter crash in Afghanistan, following their raid on Osama bin Laden’s house

Three families of Navy SEAL Team 6 special forces servicemen, along with one family of an Army National Guardsman, will appear at a press conference on May 9, 2013, to disclose never before revealed information about how and why their sons along with 26 others died in a fatal helicopter crash in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011, just a few months after the successful raid on the compound of Osama Bin Laden that resulted in the master terrorist’s death.
Accompanying the families of these dead Navy SEAL Team 6 special operations servicemen will be retired military experts verifying their accounts of how and why the government is as much responsible for the deaths of their sons as is the Taliban.
The areas of inquiry at the press conference will include but not be limited to:
1. How President Obama and Vice President Biden, having disclosed on May 4, 2011, that Navy Seal Team 6 carried out the successful raid on Bin Laden’s compound resulting in the master terrorist’s death, put a retaliatory target on the backs of the fallen heroes.
2. How and why high-level military officials sent these Navy SEAL Team 6 heroes into battle without special operations aviation and proper air support.
3. How and why the military brass carries out too many ill-prepared missions to boost their standing with top-level military brass and the Commander-in-Chief in order that they can be promoted.
4. How the military restricts special operations servicemen and others from engaging in timely return fire when fired upon by the Taliban and other terrorist groups and interests, thus jeopardizing the servicemen’s lives.
5. How and why the denial of requested pre-assault fire may have contributed to the shoot down of the Navy SEAL Team 6 helicopter and the death of these special operations servicemen.
6. How Afghani forces accompanying the Navy SEAL Team 6 servicemen on the helicopter were not properly vetted and how they possibly disclosed classified information to the Taliban about the mission, resulting in the shoot down of the helicopter.
7. How military brass, while prohibiting any mention of a Judeo-Christian God, invited a Muslim cleric to the funeral for the fallen Navy SEAL Team 6 heroes who disparaged in Arabic the memory of these servicemen by damning them as infidels to Allah. A video of the Muslim cleric’s “prayer” will be shown with a certified translation.
This press conference, combined with the ongoing hearings on Benghazi, will simply add fuel to the fire of calling for the criminals in the Obama administration to be arrested, especially since the Democrats are so big on the “seriousness of the charge” issue. Between Benghazi, the SEALs, Fast and Furious and the outright disregard for the law demonstrated by this administration, perhaps there is hope that representatives in Washington will do the right thing.
As it stands now, the Obama administration appear to be complicit in the death of hundreds of Mexicans and two federal agents via Fast and Furious. They appear to be complicit in the deaths of a US ambassador and three other Americans, and now it appears they are complicit in the deaths of an entire Navy SEAL team.
According to Jason Howerton, the press conference “has not been highly publicized.”
“This press conference takes on special significance given that our government has over the last twelve years since September 11th committed brave American servicemen to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that, in large part as a result of politics, were poorly conceived of and implemented, resulting in the deaths of thousands and the maiming of tens of thousands of our brave heroes. To make matters even worse, America has effectively lost these wars,” said Larry Klayman, legal counsel for the families.

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) gathered a huge following after his 13 hour filibuster regarding drones and the Constitution, which ultimately got an answer from the Obama administration, sort of. On Tuesday the Kentucky Senator provided a written testimony to the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Human Rights, regarding “Drone Wars: the Constitutional and Counterterrorism Implications of Targeted Killings.”
During the filibuster Paul emphasized that the use of lethal force to stop lethal force is not the issue. Paul came under attack regarding the use of a drone to stop an armed robber, which would be a use of lethal force against lethal force.
Technology is not an issue either, according to Paul. Rather the issue is authority and what does the Constitution say with regards to the use of lethal force from a drone to kill American citizens who are not an imminent threat, but rather could be arrested and the Constitution could be followed by means of providing due process.
In his written testimony, Paul stated that the point of his filibuster “was about the proper role of the Federal Government. The point was whether the Constitution still mattered.”
“If the Fourth and Fifth Amendments do matter,” he wrote, “there was only one possible answer to my question: ‘No, the President cannot assassinate an American on American soil without due process.’ Needless to say, it took me a long time to get that answer. Even during a 13-hour-filibuster, I was never certain I would get that answer.”
Paul even wrote concerning the merits of drone technology while he warned against the potential, and I would add “already a reality,” misuse of drones. “Today, we are here not to condemn the use of drones in a general sense,” wrote Paul.
“Drone technology certainly has its merits and has been useful against our enemies. But the potential for the misuse of drones, or lack of foresight in using them as a general policy-at home or even on the battlefield against terror suspects-raises important constitutional and national security concerns.”
He specifically pointed to Barack Obama’s kill list, writing “We now know that the President has a kill list, which has already included American citizens, such as terror suspect Anwar al-Awlaki. But even overseas, even traitors deserve some due process if they are American citizens, particularly if they are not actively involved in combat. If he was actively engaged in combat against our soldiers, there would’ve been no question-you take him out. But he was riding in a vehicle nowhere near American troops when he was killed.”
Paul’s reasoning about using the Constitution, rather than the drone to eliminate terrorist who are not engaged in imminent threats against America is as follows:
My preference would be that we try Americans accused of aiding and abetting terrorism as traitors. But if they don’t return, or won’t return, try them in absentia. The Constitution makes clear that treason is a federal crime.
We should also remember this was the same man who was invited to dine at the Pentagon just months after 9/11. Could the same people whose judgment we trusted to invite al-Awlaki to wine and dine in Washington, also be mistaken in their judgment in their decision to assassinate him? We will never know, because this American citizen never received any trial or due process.
This is not to say that drones should never be used, and they have been used sometimes to good effect. But some in the military community have argued that our current drone program actually makes the nation less safe and undermines our national security.
Kirk Lippold, Commander of the USS Cole, which was attacked by al-Qaeda in 2000 under President Bill Clinton, said of Barack Obama’s drone policy:
“This president, in my opinion, has fundamentally undermined our ability to defend this nation by killing terrorists rather than capturing them and taking them to an intelligence facility like Guantanamo Bay and learning how these groups operate. And while the program appears on the face to have had great success, I think ultimately the drone program is setting us up for failure because for each high-level terrorist you kill, that is a high-level intelligence asset that is no longer available to exploit.”
Paul didn’t dismiss the usefulness of drones on the battlefield, but what he did point out that drones “are a unique tool. They are a tool that enables the Executive to stretch the limits of Congress’ authorization of force.
That is even more true when targeting American citizens, and drone assassinations should not be used in lieu of due process. The Constitution already provides a guide for dealing with citizens suspected of collaborating with radical terrorists-try them for treason. Domestically, drones open up endless possibilities for surveillance of Americans. We should use the Fourth Amendment as a guide to set limits on all government surveillance, including drones.”
He then concluded that “Drones are a tool that is allowing the Executive Branch to push the limits of what constitutes constitutionally proper policy. As drones become an ever-growing part of our counterterrorism strategy abroad, their technological capabilities to locate, identify, follow, and monitor advance as well-facial recognition, license plate readers, and infrared scanners.
We already have drone manufacturers looking to expand their market by converting these technologies for domestic function and marketing them specifically to law enforcement-which can even be scooped up with federal grant money. And the whole cycle is driven, in part, by the growing use of drones as a counterterror tool. Making better, more efficient drones abroad will only make it harder to restrain drone surveillance at home.”
In a video for the dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, Condoleezza Rice defends the United States’ torture program and confirms the role of Bush in the program itself.
The fact that Bush authorized waterboarding is not just now being revealed. Indeed, it has been known since he published his memoir.
However, as the ACLU points out, “What comes as a bit of a shock, perhaps, is how candid Rice is about the role of President Bush himself in authorizing torture.”
“Now Rice has confirmed that President Bush himself was involved in vetting the CIA’s request for approval to torture,” Alexander Abdo, staff attorney for the ACLU’s National Security Project writes.
“The president asked two very important questions in the decision to use these techniques,” Rice says. “He asked the CIA if it was necessary and he asked the Justice Department if it was legal. Both departments answered yes.”
“Only when he was satisfied that we could protect both our liberties and our security did he signal that we could go ahead,” former Secretary of State Rice says in the clip.
In the clip originally obtained by Foreign Policy, which is only 49 seconds long, Rice also claims that torture actually kept Americans safe after September 11, 2001.
“The fact that we have not had a successful attack on our territory traces directly to those difficult decisions,” Rice says in the brief portion of the five-minute video presentation.
“We couldn’t disagree more,” Abdo wrote.
This is far from baseless opinion. In a 2004 special review, the CIA’s Office of the Inspector General itself concluded that “[t]he effectiveness of particular interrogation techniques in eliciting information that might not otherwise have been obtained cannot be so easily measured.”
In other words, even the inspector general of the CIA itself wouldn’t come out and say that the “enhanced interrogation techniques” actually worked.
The researcher “found that in order for torture to generate even the smallest amount of actionable intelligence the state must make the supposedly ‘rational’ calculation to actually ‘torture innocent detainees for telling the truth in order to maintain torture as a threat against those who withhold information.’”
Abdo argues that beyond the fact that torture itself is not nearly as effective as apologists like Rice and others claim, it has also actually harmed our national security.
“Torture served as a recruiting tool for our enemies, and experienced American interrogators dissented from the use of torture, arguing that it didn’t work and would produce false statements that would waste time, even if it occasionally produced truthful ones,” Abdo said.
“The level of denial among torture supporters is astounding in the face of all of the evidence confirming that U.S. policy was in fact torture, including this month’s comprehensive bipartisan report from The Constitution Project,” Abdo added.
Yet we still know very little about the torture program and the Senate Intelligence Committee’s 6,000-page report remains hidden from public eyes.
As such, the ACLU urges Americans to contact members of the Senate Intelligence Committee and tell them to release the 6,000-page factual report to the public.

First off, let’s get the attacks of the moron trolls out of the way — people who will say these photos are a “conspiracy theory.”
How are photos of actual people at the event a conspiracy theory?
They aren’t. In real police work, they’re called “evidence,” and the people in these photos should be persons of interest.
But they aren’t. The entire mainstream media and law enforcement apparatus is nowpretending these men don’t exist. (Now that’s their conspiracy theory!)
We all know, however, that The Craft operatives don’t work for free. They aren’t a band of volunteers. And that means somebody paid them to be at the event.
Who paid The Craft to be there? And what was their mission?
Why is their existence at the Boston marathon being memory-holed? Why are they not “persons of interest” in the investigation?
Why do they carry radiation detectors? What’s in their backpacks? (A ham sandwich?)
The fact that the media refuses to even acknowledge the existence of these private military operatives is quite telling all by itself.
The Boston Marathon bombing has provoked shock, grief and outrage from around the world. After decades of conditioning, the public automatically equates such terrorism with Muslim radicals. But the evidence shows that every major terror plot on American soil in the past 10 years has been fostered, funded and equipped by one organization: the FBI.
People around the world watched in horror this week as explosions rocked the finish line of the Boston Marathon, turning a day of sportsmanship and celebration into one of shock, grief and outrage. As with all such events, the desire to discover who was behind this cowardly act has driven many into a speculative frenzy. And, in a sad reminder of the indoctrination that the Western world has been under for over a decade now in the mythical “war of terror,” it did not take long at all before the collective finger of the mob was pointed squarely in the direction of Muslim terrorists.
Within hours of the blast, fear spread throughout the international Muslim community that the bombing would be connected to an Islamist extremist. A Libyan Twitter user touched a nerve—and received thousands of retweets and worldwide media coverage—by tweeting “Please don’t be a ‘Muslim.’” The backlash began shortly thereafter, with the New York Post falsely implying that a Saudi national was being questioned for his possible role in the attack. The next day, a plane departing Boston Logan Airport returned to the gate and two passengers were forcibly removed because they had been overheard speaking Arabic before takeoff.
As data continues to pour in regarding the bombing and who may be behind it, it is instructive to take a moment to step back and consider this knee-jerk tendency to conclude that this is the work of Islamic radicals. In the minds of millions of Americans, bombs targeting innocents on US soil are inextricably linked with the image of the bearded, turban-wearing boogeyman that has become the shorthand for evil in this age of terror.
This association is not only incorrect, it is dangerously incorrect because it signally fails to identify the one unifying thread between all of the recent terror plots in the US. Lurking behind the shadowy armies of would-be jihadis in the popular imagination is the sober reality that every single major terror bust in the United States since 9/11 has sourced back to the same group, a single entity that has in every single case funded, equipped and even incited the would-be terrorists into action: the FBI.
In 2005, federal prosecutors charged Michael Reynolds, a 47 year old drifter living with his elderly mother, of attempting to wage jihad on the US by blowing up fuel facilities. In reality, his plan for jihad was little more than a series of conversations he had on a Yahoo! Chat room with a US judge posing as a militant. He was arrested after agreeing to meet with an FBI informant who had promised him $40,000 for his cause, and two months later the FBI quietly announced he was likely mentally ill. He was eventually convicted and is currently serving 25 years in jail.
In 2007 the so-called “Fort Dix Six” were nabbed in a much-hyped FBI terror bust after allegedly hatching a plan to attack a US military base and kill the soldiers there. At the time, a 26-page indictment revealed that the group had “no rigorous military training” and “did not appear close to being able to pull off an attack.” The next year it was revealed that the FBI informant who had infiltrated the group had in fact offered to organize the members and lead the plot itself.
In 2009 the Newburgh Four were arrested for an alleged plot to blow up synagogues and shoot down military airplanes in Newburgh, New York. The group was a ragtag bunch of poor black men, at least one of whom was mentally unstable and stored his own urine in jars around his apartment. The group’s fifth member, Shahad Hussein, turned out to be an FBI informant who had promised the members hundreds of thousands of dollars to carry out the plot. In sentencing the defendants, Federal Judge Colleen McMahon said:
“[The government] created acts of terrorism out of [the defendant's] fantasies of bravado and bigotry, and then made those fantasies come true. The government did not have to infiltrate and foil some nefarious plot – there was no nefarious plot to foil.”
In November 2010 the FBI busted the so-called Portland Christmas Tree Bomber, who was allegedly attempting to bomb the lighting ceremony at Portland’s Pioneer Courthouse Square. “The threat was very real,” the FBI intoned at the time. “Our investigation shows that Mohamud was absolutely committed to carrying out an attack on a very grand scale.” The alleged bomber, Arthur Balizan, turned out to be a teenager who bragged to undercover agents that he could get a gun because he was a “rapper” and wrote an article on workout tips for jihadis.
In 2011 the FBI arrested a man that they themselves had supplied with a remote controlled plane and C4 explosives in a harebrained attempt to bomb the Pentagon. In 2012 theybusted another would-be jihadi that they again had supplied with a fake gun and suicide vest. Also in 2012 the FBI busted a group of five “anarchists” who were allegedly going to bomb a bridge in the Cleveland area, although it was quietly admitted that the FBI informant who had infiltrated the group had in fact initiated the contact with them and been present at the meetings where they developed the plan to blow up the bridge.
One of the most ridiculous examples of this pattern dates back to 2006, when the DOJ attempted to make it seem as if they had just nabbed a group of dangerous jihadis who were preparing a full ground war against the United States.
The picture that is painted by these facts is as overwhelming as it is difficult for much of the public to comprehend. The conclusion, nevertheless, is incontrovertible: that without the FBI, many of the so-called “terrorist cells” that have been hatching their inept, bumbling schemes against the United States for decades might never have existed at all.
Despite what many would believe, this conclusion is not even controversial. Rather, it has been backed up time and again by evidence in the official record and multiplyattested to by FBI insiders and whistleblowers themselves.
Given all of this damning history and insider whistleblowing, it is vital that the Western public break out of their media-induced programming and question the core assumptions of the war on terror paradigm that we have been programmed with for decades now. If there is to be speculation at all over events like these, and if there is any group that has to present a thoroughgoing case for why it is NOT responsible for this atrocity, surely it is the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Having been at the heart of so many terror plots in the past, both the hilariously inept and the chillingly successful, how could the public refuse to even interrogate the organization that has the most to answer for?
The simple fact of the matter is that the history of the modern age of terrorism has proven time and again that the FBI is the prime suspect in any terrorist atrocity that takes place on American soil. Let us all keep this in mind as the details of the investigations into this (and all other) American terrorist incidents begins to emerge.
FORT WORTH, Texas - A would-be robber was shot dead by a person with a concealed handgun license outside a Metro PCS store in the 7400 block of Wichita St. in Ft. Worth on Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators say Desmond Paige, 20, tried to rob a man using Craigslist. The would-be victim brought his gun to the sale just in case.
The man with the CHL was shot in the arm and the hand by the robber, but Paige was shot multiple times in the chest.
Paige died at the scene.
“When I got over to him I saw that he was bleeding out of his mouth and his chest. So I kneeled down next to him just to say you know hey I’m here you know, hold on. The ambulance and police are coming,” said one witness.
Nikoli Tesla found while experimenting with eccentric wheels that standing on the platform during the experiment gave him a pleasant buzzing feeling throughout his body. He also found that staying on the platform for longer than a minute or two aggravated heart rates and raised blood pressure to dangerously high levels.
Towards the end of World War ll, Nazi scientists developed a sound weapon based on a parabolic dish magnifying and concentrating sound. Notes recovered suggest it could focus on a group of people and debilitate them while the apparatus was in operation. It was never deployed though the reason why is unclear.
In the late 50’s and early 60’s Vladimir Gavreau, a robot scientist of Russian birth, and his assistant found that without warning they would become nauseous and have unbearable headaches when working in their lab. As soon as they left the lab the symptoms disappeared immediately.
They knew something in the lab was causing their sickness but had no idea what it was. Eventually, they noticed that a cup of coffee on the bench had strange ripples on it, at the same time as the ripples started they began to feel ill. When the ripples stopped they were fine again.
They found that the illness, and the coffee cup ripples stopped when certain windows were covered over. Extensive inquiries and dozens of tests lead to the discovery that a faulty motor driven ventilator had been installed in the building. It’s movement had caused an infrasonic resonance, that when coupled with the concrete in the building, formed a huge infrasonic amplifier at a resonance impossible for humans to hear but able to make them ill.
Now knowing the cause, Gavreau and his assistant tested the theory on themselves. They heard nothing, but within five minutes of using the apparatus designed to behave as the faulty motor and fan, they were reduced to crawling to the bench to turn it off. He noted at the time:
“Luckily we were able to turn it off quickly. All of us were sick for hours. Everything in us was vibrating, heart, lungs, stomach. All the people in the other laboratories were sick too. They were very angry with us.”
Gavreau was convinced he had found a new weapon. He continued altering the size and frequencies of the equipment in order to potentiate the effects.
Then in 1968 he stopped. Without warning and with no explanation the experiments ceased. Gavreau patented the device and the patent is stored in the French Patents office where the plans can be accessed for a small fee.
In 1975, the then USSR requested that infrasound weapons be classed as weapons of mass destruction and that their development should be prohibited worldwide. This followed publication of a number of articles accusing the US of using such weapons in Vietnam. This was followed by the same request again before it was dropped due to constant refusal of the west, the US and the UK to be precise, that legislation was needed when no one had or was developing such a weapon.
In 1977 however, an article in The British Science Magazine said that the UK was testing acoustic weapons on British soldiers. The article states:
“The weapons are similar to those deployed by the United States during the war in Vietnam”
Although no nation is admitting to owning infrasound devices they are willing to use sound as a weapon. The Long Range Acoustic Device, (LRAD) developed for maritime security, has crossed to land based use by law enforcement for crowd control. Mounted on top of some police vehicles, LRAD has a continuous volume of 162db. The pain threshold for most individuals is about 130db and it’s this that makes LRAD units effective.
Infrasound however is a different animal altogether. It operates at ultra low levels acting on people quite literally at the visceral level. Those subjected to infrasound will have headaches, feel nauseous and generally unwell.
As the exposure time increases, the headaches become more severe, they will vomit. Their heart rate increases and blood pressure rises. The internal organs will start to vibrate. Exposure beyond this point can be lethal. Continued exposure will lead to the breaking of delicate blood vessels in the internal organs and haemorrages will occur. Continued resonance within the body will cause a total breakdown of some organs and others will liquefy, at this point death is unavoidable.
BUT IT’S OKAY, NOBODY HAS SUCH A WEAPON!
There is no record of ANY country developing or deploying such a device but conspiracy theory abounds regarding the existence and usage of such weaponry.
I cannot believe personally that it does not exist. To be able to control large numbers of people without being seen to be doing so would be too irresistible to those that seek to control and manipulate their citizens. To be able to cause a debilitating illness or death at will, without getting their hands dirty would be too good to let pass.

A new US Special Forces training program using immigrants as the ‘enemy’ is to be run at Yale University.
The $1.8m program is to be run by Dr Charles Morgan lll, professor of psychiatry at Yale School of medicine and it will be run at the Yale University campus.
“I want students to be interviewing someone they can’t necessarily identify with.”
He told the Herald. For that reason he will chose people from Moroccan, Columbia, Nepalese and Ecuadorian backgrounds and from other ‘applicable’ immigrant communities.

Internet radio host Alex Jones of InfoWars.com went on CNN to take on host Piers Morgan. Now social media is a buzz with talk about the interview, in which Jones exclaimed, “1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms!”
People’s opinions are split on Jones’ performance during the interview. Some thing he made those who believe in the Second Amendment look like kooks, while there were others who believe that is just who Alex responds to things. He becomes very animated.
Morgan had invited Jones on the show to talk about the petition Jones started at Petitions.WhiteHouse.Gov that wanted to deport Piers Morgan. So far the petition has gathered well over 100,000 signatures (108,398 to be exact, at the time of this writing). The petition reads:
British Citizen and CNN television host Piers Morgan is engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment. We demand that Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens.
He said the petition was to draw attention to foreigners who have come to America and argued for gun control as the government stockpiles guns and ammunition. “When they get our guns they can have their world tyranny, while the government buys 1.6 billion bullets, armored vehicles, tanks, helicopters, predator drones,” he said. “The Second Amendment isn’t there for duck hunting, it’s there to protect us from tyrannical government and street thugs.”
He soon took over in a rant against Morgan.
“Britain took the guns…Hitler took the guns, Stalin took the guns, Mao took the guns, Fidel Castro took the guns, Hugo Chavez took the guns,” he said, raising his voice and pointing a finger at the CNN host. “And I’m here to tell you. 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms! It doesn’t matter how many lemmings you have out there on the street begging for them to have their guns taken. We will not relinquish them. Do you understand?”
Morgan, seeking to get the upper hand with Jones asked how many gun murders there were in the U.S. last year.
Jones shot back, “11,458 and about 74 percent of those were gang-related.” However, he had a question for Morgan. “How many great white sharks kill people every year but are afraid to swim?” he mocked.
Morgan tried to do the same thing with Jones that he did with Larry Pratt and that was try to mix numbers of violent crime and gun murders, not taking into account the vast differences in population and other factors that play into reading the data objectionably. I suspect Jones had watched the debate with Larry Pratt and knew that to give an inch to Morgan just meant he would be called “an incredibly stupid man.”
I do honestly wonder how many on the left smiled thinking that Jones just made every law abiding gun owner, who believes in their duty and responsibility to own firearms for their protection and the protection of their families, look like a raving madman. However, I think it was more the passion coming out of him than it was a madman being exposed. After all, Ted Nugent got pretty heated in some spots with Morgan too.
Honestly, there was no debate. I appreciate many things Alex Jones said. I even appreciate his passion! I wish more people would become outraged at what our government does. Perhaps Jones just realizes that there is no debating liberals on these matters. I prefer people take a look at how Larry Pratt, president of Gun Owners of America, handled Morgan and in the end made Morgan look like a fool.
We have chosen to highlight United States agencies; however, this top 10 list has global impact, as the U.S. has now proven to be the enforcement division of the overarching globalist agenda of centralized control.
One could argue that every government agency serves the purpose of stifling freedom and wasting taxpayer money. Yet, the 10 listed below go the extra mile for their sheer corruption, draconian regulations, and ultimate impact upon the largest number of citizens.
The main criteria for inclusion in the top 10 is the amount of money spent by the taxpayer according to official budget declarations, and then attaining the highest level of doing exactly the opposite of what they were supposedly created for.
Here is the countdown to the top 10 most dangerous U.S. government agencies to the freedom, prosperity and health of its citizens . . . .
#10 – Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) – annual budget $8.5 billion: Their record of ignoring environmental damage and the health effects on humans from major events such as 9/11, the Exxon and Gulf oil spills to the worst case, Fukushima, is unparalleled. Rather than investigate and warn of real dangers, they have gone after farmers for dubious claims of water contamination, while treating milk spills as they should have treated oil spills. Even worse, the EPA has concluded that there is no law preventing it from doing “research” on Americans. A recent lawsuit over the EPA’s work with airborne pollutants will put this claim to the test in Federal court. Their illegal human experiments could break the Nuremberg Code (source: The Washington Times).
#9 – Internal Revenue Service (IRS) – annual budget $13.3 billion: Cries of “End the Fed!” continue to get louder, while more people are beginning to wake up completely and couple this with “End the IRS!” In fact, the two were developed together 100 years ago making the private Fed and the government IRS fraternal twins in creating a system of indentured servitude through dollar devaluation and arbitrary tax collection, respectively. The Fed enslaves through stealth, while the IRS uses force to impose itself through ever-expanding regulations and the threat of fines and imprisonment. As the collection division, the IRS rakes in a staggering $2.3 trillion annually. Despite that massive amount, the IRS has a distinguished record of ignoring the shenanigans of major corporations and federal employees, while focusing harshly on the average private citizen and small businesses in particular. Thankfully, there is some momentum toward abolishing the IRS through FairTax legislation. Now would be a good time, as the IRS will be empowered even further when the healthcare overhaul takes effect.
#8 – Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) – annual budget $13.5 billion: Despite massive funding to help people in dire need of assistance, FEMA has failed spectacularly in the cases of Katrina and Sandy, even hindering the ability of people to make it on their own, as gun confiscation was ordered against the population affected by Katrina. The mechanics of offering aid to legitimate victims of Sandy are still being debated by the U.S. government. Additionally, there is a disturbing amount of evidence that suggests FEMA would be instrumental in enslaving large populations following an economic collapse or civil unrest. FEMA centers are now open knowledge and if implemented will likely resemble the squalor and horror that refugees encountered when jammed into the New Orleans Superdome following Katrina.
#7 - Department of Justice (DoJ) – annual budget $28 billion: This includes the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) which has its own annual budget of $8 billion. The “Department of Justice” is perhaps the most Orwellian oxymoron of all government agencies. For decades they have pursued a failed War on Drugs that targets small-time users while ignoring the true drug criminals. In fact, they’ve even armed the drug gangs as revealed in the Fast and Furious scandal. We have a Justice Department more concerned with going after whistleblowers of crimes than the criminals themselves. The FBI deserves a whole section unto itself given their recent behavior. The only “terrorists” they’ve caught since 9-11 are the ones they have created with their own material support. Further, the FBI is increasingly using illegal surveillance tactics for peaceful activists like Occupy demonstrators and others. It has recently been revealed that the FBI was actually spying on Occupy protesters at the behest of banks, not the government, even refusing to tell Occupy leaders that there were assassination plots against them. Finally, it must be noted that no bankers have gone to jail from the immense fraud that led to the financial collapse of 2008 and beyond; no one significant has gone to jail for torture and other war crimes; and government corruption has been all but legalized.
#6 - Spy Agencies: The nation’s 17 spy agencies, including the CIA and the National Security Agency (NSA) – annual budget $55 billion? Many of the intelligence accounts are classified, so we can’t really know the true total, but we do know that the budget for spy agencies has doubled since 9/11. The NSA has grabbed the most attention as of late with plans to expand into their new $2 billion data mining center in Bluffdale, Utah set to launch in September of this year. Whistleblowers like William Binney have stated that the agency is already spying on its own citizens domestically. As the war on terror increases its scope through drone surveillance on American soil, the NSA’s budget will only increase, while increasing the danger posed to large sections of the U.S. Constitution. The CIA of course has long been implicated in using assassination rings to topple foreign governments and political opponents, while being at the center of the Guantanamo Bay and rendition torture apparatus. With the arrival of no-holds-barred legislation like NDAA 2013, the intelligence regime becomes more dangerous than ever.
#5 – Department of Education (ED) – annual budget $70 billion: The way that America has chosen to educate its youth is the beginning of the justifications for the abuses of every other federal agency. The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, as Charlotte Iserbyt has called it, has resulted in a once independent, entrepreneurial nation becoming a collectivized horde of selfish, but not individualistic, youth. There is much less attention paid to vocational skills, and much more attention paid to training the next bunch of public officials or bureaucracy enforcers. Furthermore, the public school system is clearly engaging in prisoner training with the actions of children becoming criminalized at an ever-greater pace. With the recent CT school shooting, we can expect that this will now become part of the curriculum as justification for the surrounding police state will be taught as a logical consequence in the face of such random threats of terror.
#4 - Department of Homeland Security (DHS) annual budget $100 billion (3,000 page PDF): – Much like the Department of Defense, the activities of DHS are all-encompassing including the goon squad of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), which has employed untrained, low IQ, and criminal elements including pedophiles to reach into the pants of men, women and children. The TSA is also responsible for introducing cancer to its employees and the public through its backscatter radiation naked imaging machines. And now they are set to hit the streets across America with their spin-off VIPR teams. DHS has set up the ultimate framework for tyranny, including secret lists, secret arrests, activist surveillance, biometric immigration measures, control of cyberspace, Orwellian telescreens and PSA’s that increasingly portray average citizens who are engaged in normal activities as worthy of suspicion and interrogation. They are sure to be on the front lines of any gun control and confiscation initiatives, as they clearly have been stockpiling their own ammunition in ever greater numbers.
#3 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) – annual budget $155 billion: If there is one agency that is administering the globalist directives of Agenda 21, it is the USDA. They have recently begun putting dubious embargoes on small farms, which is leading to economic and literal starvation of people and animals alike. Through their trickle down directives, farmers can even be charged in a different county after being cleared of wrongdoing in a previous case. This is the hallmark of bureaucratic tyranny. The USDA has been instrumental in clearing Dow Chemical’s GM soy, giving Monsanto’s GMO crops special ‘speed approval,’ and covering up pesticide damage to humans and bee populations. But in true absurdist bureaucratic style, the same organization that has consistently overlooked the health and economic threats to countless millions of people decided to fine a family $4 million dollars for selling bunny rabbits.
#2 – Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) – annual budget $892 billion - This gargantuan structure includes the FDA, CDC and the National Institutes of Health among others. The FDA has its own annual budget of $4.5 billion. This agency has approved prescription and over-the-counter drugs that knowingly have killed hundreds of thousands of people annually, has increased irradiation of the food supply, and has covered up vaccine injuries, But if you want Big Pharma, you can get it from a vending machine, thanks to the FDA. No surprise, the FDA has ties to Monsanto and ties to Bayer. Now our food is being made and modified by the largest pesticide manufacturer, while any move to label GMO is shut down by the agency. The FDA has additionally approved AquaBounty’s GE Salmon despite a statement by The Center for Food Safety, that its “bad for the consumer, bad for the salmon industry, and bad for the environment.” Among other gems are dangerous animal feed additives, approving dangerous anti-viral drugs for infants, and policing food safety in foreign nations.
As for the CDC, or Center for Disease Creation as some natural medicine practitioners have coined the agency (budget $11 billion), they have encouraged vaccination to such an extent that some have questioned whether their mandated vaccine schedule is part of a compulsory sterilization program.
#1 – Department of Defense (DoD) – annual budget ??? – Officially $613 billionThis agency is in desperate need of returning to its more honest original name: The War Department. In addition to being the recipient of the highest percentage of the federal budget, the DoD’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) division almost deserves a category of its own. Many of DARPA’s projects fall into the money pit of “black budget” secret projects not even subjected to presidential and congressional oversight. With DARPA’s “mad science” reputation, it is no doubt one of the top recipients of the $50 billion annual black budget, making this one of the most dangerous federal agencies to both the economy of the U.S. and to world peace. Overall, the Department of Defense as the coordinator for anything that falls under “national security” is responsible for openly killing millions and eviscerating the Constitution … and there is no sign that they are letting up any time soon.
Honorable Mention
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) – annual budget $3 billion: This agency falls under HHS, but the video below demonstrates a special level of corruption and worthlessness that is humorous, except for the fact that it represents a staggering level of taxpayer looting, despite the small size of the agency (537 people). It is a microcosm of what we only can imagine going on within the larger agencies, especially those with less oversight.
The government’s track record for permitting massive looting of the economy in collusion with the private banking sector; the upcoming collusion with the insurance industry and Big Pharma to change the landscape of healthcare; their collusion with private contractors to implement a prison-industrial complex; their unconstitutional war machine, and their history of secret human experiments makes government the single greatest terrestrial danger we face. In the 20th century alone, governments across the world outright murdered 290 million people, known as democide. How many more must have fallen to covert means and bureaucratic ineptitude? How many more will follow?

Israel exists in a perpetual “besieged” mentality. The Israeli people have been conditioned to view themselves as an island amidst a violent sea. However, the constant belligerent posture of their government in fact drives the winds that churn that sea, and as the face of modern warfare shifts, and the more they use their armor and air power against their perceived enemies, the higher the waves become.

Historian and geopolitical expert Dr. Webster Tarpley noted in a recent PressTV interview that the paradigm has shifted in terms of modern warfare, and that tactics involving armor and air superiority cannot guarantee Israel its defense any longer. Operations such as the abortive invasion of southern Lebanon in 2006, the brutal but ultimately unsuccessful “Operation Cast Lead” in late 2008-early 2009, and now this most recent conflict in Gaza, show that while Israel still possesses an immense capacity to inflict suffering and death in a tactical dimension, it has become all but impotent at achieving any meaningful strategic objectives.
The leadership in Israel must surely understand this, and that the more overtly belligerent they become, the more they endanger the state of Israel and its people. Then why, one must ask, do they continue on an obviously self-destructive path?
The answer is simple – while the people of Israel have an invested interest in their own self-preservation, their leadership, though they play the role well of Israel’s defenders, do not.
Israel’s compromised corporate-financier driven leadership seems to be positioning the nation for a significant fall, to what degree is still not clear. It could range from a catastrophic defeat, to another humiliating ceasefire after an exercise in impotent, self-incriminating brutality. The purpose of this appears to be to grant their regional partners, mainly the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the necessary clout, legitimacy and unity needed to carry out the next stage of reordering the Middle East.
With a decisive defeat of Israel by what the Washington Post calls “a changed Middle East,” the Saudi-Qatari-Egyptian axis, a united front of sectarian-hardliners long-sought by Wall Street and London to fight its regional enemies, will be prepared to confront Iran, Syria, and Hezbollah in Lebanon – to accomplish what the US and Israel have themselves already tried but failed to achieve.
The Washington Post, easily recognized as a “right-wing” Neo-Conservative clearinghouse, and proponent of Israel, almost seemed to celebrate the united front lining up behind Hamas in Gaza, against Israel. In their article, “Hamas finds greater support in a changed Middle East,” they state:
“Fenced in by an Israeli blockade and by the tacit consent of authoritarian Arab regimes that disdained Hamas’s Islamist politics, the group long relied on two international pariahs — Iran and Syria — for support.
But the outbreak of a revolt in Syria shattered ties between Hamas and the government of President Bashar al-Assad and forced a rift between Hamas and Shiite Iran. Hamas has since repositioned itself, gaining a new set of regional partners at a critical time.
Newly democratic Egypt and Tunisia, along with regionally influential Qatar and Turkey, have increasingly assumed the roles of Hamas’s new allies.”
It must be remembered, however, who was behind the creation of the “newly democratic Egypt and Tunisia,” and who is currently partnered with Qatar and Turkey in various regional objectives, not the least of which is the subversion and destruction of Syria.
Hamas’ New Friends – Israel’s Semi-Covert Allies
The 2011 “Arab Spring” was far from the spontaneous uprising it was portrayed as being. While the US government feigned surprise, it had been quietly preparing both hardliners and “pro-democracy” protestersyears in advance – at least as early as 2007.
The newly elected Tunisian president’s first order of business was in fact to toe the line of US foreign policy, andwithdraw recognition of the Syrian government. This was not surprising, considering President Moncef Marzouki had spent years coddled by the West in Paris, France, his NGO funded by the US government. Marzouki’s organization, the Tunisian League for Human Rights, was a US National Endowment for Democracy and George Soros Open Society-funded International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) member.
The government of Egypt, likewise, had been the creation of Western meddling. Muslim Brotherhood mobs had augmented crowds led by the more presentable Mohammed ElBaradei, a long time functionary of US foreign policy. Eventually, ElBaradei was exposed as a Western proxy, and made way for the accession to power of the Muslim Brotherhood. While the Brotherhood postures as both anti-Israeli and anti-American, it is in fact, on record, funded by the United States and Israel, with money and even weapons laundered through Saudi Arabia, and now Qatar, and then sent to its various regional branches.
Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, Seymour Hersh of the New Yorker, published in 2007 a report titled, “The Redirection,” based on US, Saudi, and Lebanese representatives, exposing US, Israeli, and Saudi backing of sectarian extremists tied to Al Qaeda, as well as the Muslim Brotherhood itself.
Hersh reports that a supporter of the Lebanese Hariri faction had met Dick Cheney in Washington and relayed personally the importance of using the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria in any move against the ruling government:
“[Walid] Jumblatt then told me that he had met with Vice-President Cheney in Washington last fall to discuss, among other issues, the possibility of undermining Assad. He and his colleagues advised Cheney that, if the United States does try to move against Syria, members of the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood would be “the ones to talk to,” Jumblatt said.” -The Redirection, Seymour Hersh (2007)
The article would continue by explaining how already in 2007 US and Saudi backing had begun benefiting the Brotherhood:
“There is evidence that the Administration’s redirection strategy has already benefitted the Brotherhood. The Syrian National Salvation Front is a coalition of opposition groups whose principal members are a faction led by Abdul Halim Khaddam, a former Syrian Vice-President who defected in 2005, and the Brotherhood. A former high-ranking C.I.A. officer told me, “The Americans have provided both political and financial support. The Saudis are taking the lead with financial support, but there is American involvement.” He said that Khaddam, who now lives in Paris, was getting money from Saudi Arabia, with the knowledge of the White House. (In 2005, a delegation of the Front’s members met with officials from the National Security Council, according to press reports.) A former White House official told me that the Saudis had provided members of the Front with travel documents.” -The Redirection, Seymour Hersh (2007)
It was warned that such backing would benefit the Brotherhood as a whole, not just in Syria, and could effect public opinion even as far as in Egypt where a long battle against the hardliners was fought in order to keep Egyptian governance secular.
Clearly this “new Middle East” the Washington Post describes as lining up behind Hamas, and against Israel, is a monster of Western policy’s own purposeful creation. It seems as if Henry Kissinger may have had something much more specific in mind when he stated, “In 10 years, there will be no more Israel.”
While it may seem unfathomable that the corporate-financier interests of Wall Street and London would jeopardize the safety, security, and even existence of Israel – a long time beachhead for Western geopolitical interests across the Middle East – this is only because people severely overestimate the importance placed on Israel by the corporate-financier elite.

To the West’s corporate-financiers, Israel is another plot of land – its people another demographic to be targeted, manipulated, and exploited, its resources to be expended, its role and existence to be assessed and reassessed based on utility. Like the Roman Empire nearly 2,000 years ago, when Israel outlives its usefulness as a proxy, it will be overrun, looted, destroyed, and its people scattered to the four corners of the globe, if and when necessary. As has been stated many times before, the greatest existential threat to Israel as a state, and to its people, is their own compromised ruling government. In reality, the Israeli people and their perceived mortal enemies share a common foe – who has pitted them both purposefully against each other for over a generation.
Netanyahu’s over-the-top, cartoonish warmongering, the IDF’s purposeful provocations, and a continuous campaign of self-vilification seems designed to make what appears to be an engineered fall all the more satisfying and uniting for the “new Middle East” Wall Street and London (with the ruling Israeli government’s help) has assembled over the past 2 years. For the Israeli people, stepping back seems impossible – but continuing forward is almost certainly suicidal.
The Israelis have the military might, the political sway, and the economic means to prevail against any true enemy. Rooting out warmongers like Netanyahu will not leave the nation defenseless, but better footed to explore other paths toward regional co-existence, peace, and prosperity. It will not be easy, but no more difficult than fighting perpetual war.
Explosions have rocked central Gaza as Israel strikes back in response to Hamas attacks. Earlier today rockets from Palestine struck Tel Aviv, reportedly killing three people.
In response, Israel has increased air attacks in Palestine and has called up some 30,000 reserve troops in a gear up for a possible full-on ground invasion of the Gaza strip.
The Israeli defence minister has approved the call-up of 30,000 reservists, Sky News has confirmed.
Sky’s Middle East Correspondent Sam Kiley said: ”In British terms, that is pretty close to 10 brigades – a vast number of troops. These will be armour, infantry and specialists in support, but most likely to fill in the gaps likely to be left as troops are moved down towards Gaza.
“There’s already been an increase in movement of ground troops close to Gaza, the movement of tanks and so on.
“If there is going to be a ground offensive, those troops have got to come from somewhere else and they would need to be back-filled.
“So, in all likelihood, this is all part of the military planning for a ground assault into Gaza, should the Israeli prime minister so order.

In blunt terms, Obama said the Western-led air campaign had stopped Gaddafi’s advances and halted a slaughter that could have shaken the stability of an entire region and “stained the conscience of the entire world”.
“To brush aside America’s responsibility as a leader and more profoundly our responsibilities to our fellow human beings under such circumstances would have been a betrayal of who we are.”
“I can report that we have stopped Gaddafi’s deadly advance,” the US president said.
“We will deny the regime arms, cut off its supply of cash, assist the opposition, and work with other nations to hasten the day when Gaddafi leaves power,” he said.
Now, fighting has erupted across Libya once more – and “rebels” are rising up against the client-regime installed by NATO late last year. NATO’s proxies in Tripoli have stated, according to the Guardian’s report, “Confusion rife as Libyan army storms town of Bani Walid:”
“A lot of people who supported Gaddafi are hiding now in Bani Walid. We have a list of names. They are fighting very well because they know they are going to die soon.”
Clearly, this constitutes as clear a case for “R2P” as the West claimed it had in 2011. With Qaddafi declared dead and his government swept aside in a bloodbath of reprisals and atrocities,documented safely in retrospect by disingenuous “international” institutions such as Human Rights Watch and the US State Department-affiliated Amnesty International, the people in Bani Walid are fighting for much more than just the fact that they are “supporters of Qaddafi.”
In the divided Libya that emerged from NATO’s military intervention, sectarian violence, discrimination, and marginalization has ensued, betraying the “democratic” values NATO claims to have brought to Libya’ shores. The persisting resistance in Libya stems not only from a sense of injustice regarding the installation of a government by foreign interests through the use of foreign military force, but also from increasing anger over injustice purveyed by the new proxy-regime itself.

Writing in Foreign Policy magazine, David Rothkopf, who is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and visiting scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, said plans for a series of ‘surgical strikes’ on Iran’s nuclear facilities had been drawn up. Rothkopf is advocating how “politically palatable” a strike on Iran would be. He explains that this strategy would have a “transformative outcome: saving Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, reanimating the peace process, securing the Gulf, sending an unequivocal message to Russia and China, and assuring American ascendancy in the region for a decade to come.”
Covert operations are in the works which will involve air strikes on Natanz and other sites “that could impact Iranian civilian populations.”

Israeli Defense Officials continue to say that Iran is enriching uranium for the purposes of acquiring a nuclear weapon.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iranian President, said there is a “possibility of a strike against Iran.”
Definite plans on striking Iran have been leaked. The document reveals that the Zionist regime has a coordinated scheme to attack Iranina power plant facilities as well as “internet, telephones, radio and television, communications satellites, and fiber optic cables leading to and from critical installations – including underground missile bases at Khorramabad and Isfahan – will be taken out of action.”

Turkey has been involved in the proxy war in Syria by allowing the CIA to utilize al-Qaeda and train members of the Free Syrian Army on a base in their country.
The Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan has been very vocal about his belief that NATO and Turkish forces will bring down Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Having international support against Syria has empowered Turkey.
Fogh Rasmussen, NATO Secretary-General, prior to a talk in Brussels with NATO explained that: “Obviously Turkey can rely on NATO solidarity. We have all necessary plans in place to protect and defend Turkey if necessary.”
The Diyarbakir Air Base in Turkey has received 25 extra F-18 fighter jets from an undisclosed military source. The continued show of force in Turkey against Syria is fully supported by NATO. This implies that the US is expected to join in, after having devastated the region with their terrorist faction, the Free Syrian Army. To further invoke the use of technocratically-controlled countries, British and French Special Forces are collaborating with the CIA and MI6 to assist the Free Syrian Army inside Syria.
Dimitry Rogozin, Russian representative for the envoy to NATO, asserts that: “NATO is planning a military campaign against Syria to help overthrow the regime of President Bashar al-Assad with a long-reaching goal of preparing a beachhead for an attack on Iran.”
Last week it was discovered that the Free Syrian Army are being armed by Saudi Arabia. The attack in Aleppo was actually funded with ammunition and weaponry from the US-aligned Middle Eastern nation. The Free Syrian Army deny knowledge of how they came to obtain thisshippment from Saudi Arabia; however it is fairly obvious that the Salafi extremists in their country are supporting the US-backed terrorist faction. This would, of course, fall short of U.S. goals for Syria and could preserve Asad in power. From that starting point, however, it is possible that a broad coalition with the appropriate international mandate could add further coercive action to its efforts.” -page 4, Assessi ng Options for Regime Change, Brookings Institution.

Foreign troops in Jordan, including US troops, may be playing a role in providing additional pressure south of Syria while Turkey attempts to pressure Syria from the north. The idea is to stretch out Syrian forces, relieving NATO-backed terrorists operating within the country. Of course, while the Western media claims these are merely troops helping with “humanitarian” concerns, they are undoubtedly doing all in their power to present Syria with a credible threat to force Syria to divide its troops, while attempting to stoke paranoia and panic in the minds of Syrian officers and politicians the West hopes to lure into defecting.
In response, Syria and its allies must provide a mutually convincing deterrent against this build-up and the threat it is meant to generate. With the fact that the West is openly arming, funding, and backing terrorists groups linked directly to Al Qaeda, not only in Syria, but in Libya, as well as their recent announcement of the delisting of terror group Mujahedeen e-Khalq (MEK), it would not be difficult for Syria’s allies to build up international support to send a monitoring group, only upon Damascus’ request, to address in reality the humanitarian concerns on Syria’s borders the West is only feigning to address. The presence of this monitoring group, which might include armed elements, would raise the stakes for Western policy makers and their proxies, and would discourage the influx of weapons and foreign fighters that have been costing Syrians their lives for over a year.
US policy openly states that it would prefer “bleeding” Syria to death over the long term, even if it could not succeed in exacting regime change, thus betraying their narrative of attempting to end a “humanitarian” crisis.
“The United States might still arm the opposition even knowing they will probably never have sufficient power, on their own, to dislodge the Asad network. Washington might choose to do so simply in the belief that at least providing an oppressed people with some ability to resist their oppressors is better than doing nothing at all, even if the support provided has little chance of turning defeat into victory. Clearly, the West’s “humanitarian concerns” are a poorly dressed pretext for the absolute destruction of Syria through the intentional prolonging of violence and its ravaging effects for as long as possible. Clearly those implicated in this conspiracy demonstrably being carried out by the US, UK, France, NATO and its Persian Gulf allies of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, should play no further role in attempting to resolve violence in Syria they admit to starting and seeking to indefinitely perpetuate. This role should be granted instead to a growing, multipolar effort being led by Russia, Iran, and China.
The failure of international law is now on full display in Syria. With Western nations clearly dominating the United Nation’s agenda, and the supranational institutions that surround it, overt criminal conspiracies have been allowed to unfold not only without consequence, but without even simple condemnation. The US in particular, through its policy think-tank Brookings Institution, has put to paper designs to perpetuate a humanitarian catastrophe indefinitely – not to protect civilian life, but simply to achieve a self-serving geopolitical objective – “to keep a regional adversary weak.” An alternative must be found, one based on the unwavering primacy of national sovereignty, not international law, where extraterritorial transgressions like those committed by the West toward Syria can never be justified nor tolerated.
Shots are being fired back and forth between Turkey and Syria today.
The current episode of conflict began earlier today when mortar rounds from Syria exploded in the Turkish border town of Akcakale. A mother and her three children, as well as one other resident, were killed and 9 others were wounded in the strike.
Turkey has retaliated with artillery fire and an appeal to NATO.
Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan’s office released a statement.
“Our armed forces in the border region immediately retaliated against this heinous attack… by shelling the targets spotted by radar. Turkey will never leave unanswered such kinds of provocation by the Syrian regime against our national security.”
The US condemned the attack and NATO has expressed its “strong condemnation”.
Russia Today reports That NATO is responding to Turkey’s call for assistance.
NATO’s North Atlantic Council has convened tonight to discuss the shelling of the Turkish town. The meeting has been held under article 4 of NATO code, concerning consultations when a member state feels territorial integrity is under threat, officials say.
In the official statement, NATO urged Syria to put end to “flagrant violations of international law,” saying that it stands by Turkey. “The Alliance strongly condemns Syrian aggressive acts against Turkey,” NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said on his Twitter account.
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has condemned the act, saying “We are outraged that the Syrians have been shooting across the border.“
Turkey’s foreign minister has scheduled an emergency meeting to deal with the situation. This is the first time throughout the 18 month conflict that Turkey has fired into Syria.
