Washington Is Insane

In the 21st century the two hundred year-old propaganda that the American people control their government has been completely shattered. Both the Bush and Obama regimes have made it unmistakenly clear that the American people don’t even influence, much less control, the government. As far as Washington is concerned, the people are nothing but chaff in the wind.

Polls demonstrate that 65% of the US population opposes US intervention in Syria. Despite this clear indication of the people’s will, the Obama regime is ramping up a propaganda case for more arming of Washington’s mercenaries sent to overthrow the secular Syrian government and for a “no-fly zone” over Syria, which, if Libya is the example, means US or NATO aircraft attacking the Syrian army on the ground, thus serving as the air force of Washington’s imported mercenaries, euphemistically called “the Syrian rebels.”

Washington declared some time ago that the “red line” that would bring Syria under Washington’s military attack was the Assad government’s use of chemical weapons of mass destruction against Washington’s mercenaries. Once this announcement was made, everyone with a brain immediately knew that Washington would fabricate false intelligence that Assad had used chemical weapons, just as Washington presented to the United Nations the intentional lie via Secretary of State Colin Powell that Saddam Hussein in Iraq had dangerous weapons of mass destruction. Remember National Security Advisor Condi Rice’s image of a “mushroom cloud over American cities?” Propagandistic lies were Washington’s orders of the day.

And they still are. Now Washington has fabricated the false intelligence, and president obama has announced it with a straight face, that Syria’s Assad has used sarin gas on several occasions and that between 100 and 150 “of his own people,” a euphemism for the US supplied foreign mercenaries, have been killed by the weapon of mass destruction.

Think about that for a minute. As unfortunate as is any death from war, is 100-150 deaths “mass destruction?” According to low-ball estimates, the US-sponsored foreign mercenary invasion of Syria has cost 93,000 lives, of which 150 deaths amounts to 0.0016 or sixteen hundredths of one percent.

In other words, 92,850 of the deaths did not cross the “red line.” But 150 did, allegedly.

Yes, I know. Washington’s position makes no sense. But when has it ever made any sense?

Let’s stretch our minds just a tiny bit farther. Assad knows about Washington’s “red line.” It has been repeated over and over in order to create in the minds of the distracted American public that there is a real, valid reason for attacking Syria. Why would Assad use the proscribed weapons of mass destruction in order to kill a measly 100-150 mercenaries when his army is mopping up the US mercenaries without the use of gas and when Assad knows that the use of gas brings in the US military against him?

As the Russian government made clear, Washington’s accusation is not believable. No informed person could possibly believe it. No doubt, many Americans wearing patriotism on their sleeves will fall for Washington’s latest lie, but no one else in the world will. Even Washington’s NATO puppets calling for attacking Syria know that the justification for the attack is a lie. For the NATO puppets, Washington’s money overwhelms integrity, for which the rewards are low.

The Russians certainly know that Washington is lying. The Russian Foreign Minister Larov said: “The [Assad] government, as the opposition is saying openly, is enjoying military success on the ground. The [Assad] regime isn’t driven to the wall. What sense is there for the regime to use chemical arms–especially in such small amounts.”

Larov is a relatively civilized person in the role of Russia’s main diplomat. However, other Russian officials can be more pointed in their dismissal of Washington’s latest blatant lies. Yury Ushakov, an aide to Russian President Putin said: “The Americans tried to present us with information on the use of chemical weapons by the [Assad] regime, but frankly we thought that it was not convincing. We wouldn’t like to invoke references to [the infamous lies of] Secretary of State Powell [at the UN alleging Iraqi WMD], but the facts don’t look convincing in our eyes.” Aleksey Pushkov, the chairman of the Russian Duma’s Foreign Affairs Committee, cut to the chase. “The data about Assad’s use of chemical weapons is fabricated by the same facility that made up the lies about Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction. Obama is walking George W. Bush’s path.”

Here in America no one will ever hear straight talk like this from the US presstitutes.

Orwellian double-speak is now the language of the United States government. Secretary of State john kerry condemned Assad for harming “peace talks” while the US arms its Syrian mercenaries.

Washington’s double-speak is now obvious to the world. Not only Assad, but also the Russians, Chinese, Iranians, and every US puppet state which includes all of NATO and Japan, are fully aware that Washington is again lying through its teeth. The Russians, Chinese, and Iranians are trying to avoid confrontation with Washington, as war with the modern nuclear weapons would destroy all life on planet earth. What is striking is that despite 24/7 brainwashing by the presstitutes, a large majority of the American population opposes obama’s war on Syria.

This is good news. It means more Americans are developing the ability to think independently of the lies Washington feeds to them.

What the neocon nazis, the bush/obama regime, and the presstitute media have made
clear is that Washington is going to push its agenda of world hegemony to the point of
starting World War III, which, of course, means the end of life on earth.

Russia and China, either one of which can destroy the United States, have learned that the US government is a liar and cannot be trusted. The Libyan “no-fly” policy to which Russia and China agreed turned out to be a NATO air attack on the Libyan army so that the CIA-sponsored mercenaries could prevail.

Russia and China, having learned their lesson, are protesting Washington’s assault on Syria that Washington pretends is a “civil war.” If Syria falls, Russia and China know that Iran is next.

Iran is Russia’s underbelly, and for China Iran is 20% of its energy imports. Both Russian and Chinese governments know that after Iran falls, they are next. There is no other explanation for Washington surrounding Russia with missile bases and surrounding China with naval and air bases.

Both Russia and China are now preparing for the war that they see as inevitable. Washington’s crazed, demented drive for world hegemony is bringing unsuspecting Americans up against two countries with hydrogen bombs whose combined population is five times the US population. In such a conflict everyone dies.

Considering the utterly insane government ruling in Washington, if human life exists in 2020, it will be a miracle. All the worry about future Medicare and Social Security deficits is meaningless. There will be no one here to collect the benefits.

Homeschooling enrollment skyrocketing as parents seek to protect children from public school brainwashing

Sunday, June 16th, 2013

images-4

There is less faith now in the public education system than there ever has been. Homeschooling has increased by 75 percent in the last 14 years, according to a recent report in Education News. Homeschooling is growing seven times faster than a K-12 public education. Researchers predict that the homeschooling boom will continue to explode over the next 10 years, as parents seek to provide their son/daughter with a better education, one that is less controlling and less controlled.

Now seeing that the federal government’s no child left behind act has made public education into a factory line, more parents are finding alternative educations at home. As the government continues to intrude, it will be wise for parents to take a closer look at the looming common core standards that states are now adopting from the Obama Administration. These standards do even more damage, seeking to turn students and their emotions into stored, traceable data, using data mining techniques.

Regurgitating information and coloring in bubbles

The onslaught of government programs and standardized testing has rendered students just mere statistics in a database. Many parents feel like their child has become just another brick in the wall. The National Assessment of Educational Progress reports that the No Child Left behind Act did nothing over the last decade but pressure a narrow curriculum onto schools, a curriculum that taught straight to the tune of state testing guidelines. The subsequent inflated test scores never proved that real learning had improved, but instead created a brainwashing system. This standardized system has stunted creativity in children, scolded skepticism, herded achievement, and reigned in competition to an equal yoke, as kids learn nothing more than how to regurgitate information and color in a bubble.

Turning your children into a traceable number in a database

As government is continually looked to as the answer for education, new Common Core standards are being coerced into each state’s public education system. These uniform standards make the No Child Left Behind Act look like a small appetizer. Common core goes deeper than standardized education. It seeks to turn children into digitized pets tied to a surveillance leash. In fact, Common Core standards reveal data mining techniques, which will record and log a student’s facial expressions and reactions through iris and other biometric scans implemented through sensors on school computers.

Although common core looks like a state initiated plan, the program was actually coerced onto the states through a $4 billion grant from Obama’s Race to the Top program. The federal government, run by controlling surveillance freaks, has effectively lassoed state support. There’s an exception to that rule, though – Missouri. Representative Blaine Luetkemeyer from Missouri has recently wrote a letter to the US Department of Education, addressing several issues with the new Common Core standards.

“We understand that as a condition of applying for [Race to the Top] grant funding, states obligated themselves to implement a State Longitudinal Database System (SLDS) used to track students by obtaining personally identifiable information,” Luetkemeyer said. “We formally request a detailed description of each change to student privacy policy that has been made under your leadership, including the need and intended purpose for such changes.”

The Department of Education applauds the data mining techniques, saying in its February 2013 report, “Researchers are exploring how to gather complex affective data and generate meaningful and usable information to feed back to learners, teachers, researchers, and the technology itself. Connections to neuroscience are also beginning to emerge.”

Nine states have already complied to this new technology, which goes farther than eyeballing student test scores. Students’ personal information, including behavior and reactions are being sent to a database managed by In Bloom, Inc., which is a privately funded organization started by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Benefits of homeschooling

An Education News report actually shows that homeschooled children ultimately attain four year degrees at much higher rates than publicly enrolled students. As a matter of fact, some of the top colleges in the US, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard, Stanford, and Duke University avidly recruit homeschooled children. Homeschooled children aren’t as socially inept as what others stigmatize. In fact, homeschooled children complete their work faster at home and have more time for community, church, and neighborhood social activities. Family values and character, the most overlooked part of an education, are taught much more strongly from home, making homeschooled children more respectful, higher achieving, and beneficial members of the community. Furthermore, most public schools spend very limited time on three other very important life skills – proper nutrition, hands on skills, and entrepreneurship. These skills are passed on well in a home school environment.

All in all, homeschooling is on the rise as parents “wake up” to the reality that a public education has become nothing more than a watered down, standardized, brainwashing, data mining pool that sells their kids, brick by brick, up the crick for a lousy government granted paycheck.

The Amish Don’t Get Autism? And They Don’t Get Vaccinations – Possible Link?

Thursday, June 13th, 2013

Unknown-3

People outside the alternative health community are often confused by the lack of autism in the Amish people. The Amish do not experience autism, or most of the other learning disabilities that plague our technological society. They live in a society that consists of outdated technologies and ideals, at least by contemporary standards. Their diet consists of eating organic, fresh, locally-grown produce, and of course, they do not follow the established vaccination routines. To the dismay of the mainstream media and the medical establishment, this has resulted in a healthier people, who are void of all of our chronic diseases. Heart disease, cancer, and diabetes are virtually non-existent in Amish villages. Equally non-existent are our modern, chemically-engineered medicines, enhanced (chemically engineered) foods, G.M.O. (genetically engineered) foods, and of course, vaccines. How is it that those who are without the so-called “miracles” of modern orthodox medicine are healthier? The truth about health, medicine, and how they both relate to the Amish has become an embarrassment to some rather powerful people.

There have been 3 (yes three) verified cases of autism in the Amish, and two of those children were vaccinated. No information is available for the third child, who was likely vaccinated himself. The strong correlation between vaccinations and autism is becoming undeniable, unless you work for the medical establishment, the government, or Big Media. Proponents of the status quo actually claim that the Amish must have a super gene that makes them immune to autism. They rationalize that autism must be some type of genetic failure, which attacks brains based on religious affiliations. It is truly the best of F.D.A. and A.M.A. science in all its shining glory. Vaccine proponents are willing to espouse any ridiculous explanation, so long as they do not have to accept that their industry is causingchronic disease. Due to all their help, children in the United States have a stunning 2% chance of developing autism, and that percentage is growing rapidly.

Beware When The G’ Man Comes Knocking

The Amish are constantly harassed by health officials, who attempt to convince them to vaccinate their children. Whilst most Amish still refuse to vaccinate their children, a small minority are beginning to succumb to the scare tactics. This continues despite the fact that health officials actually have no legal right to visit peoples’ homes and harass them into accepting these poisons. As more of the Amish vaccinate, the autism rates in their community will rise. Fortunately, the majority of the Amish still contend that vaccinations are against God’s will, which interestingly enough, does indeed seem to be bringing about many health blessings.

Many of the viruses which children are vaccinated against are no longer circulating. However, fear tactics by the media have led frightened parents to vaccinate their children against these viruses anyway. One of those viruses is polio. Dr. Sherri Tenpenny reported that the most recent case seen in the Western Hemisphere was in Peru, in 1991. The World Health Organization (W.H.O.) declared the Western hemisphere free of Polio in 1994. Such inconvenient figures are not cited by the mainstream media, doctors, or the American Medical Association.

On October 14, 2005, the media swung into hysteria after the vaccine-strain of the polio virus was found in the stools of four Amish children. The media initially declined to mention that it was the chemically-inactivated version, which is only found inside the orally-given vaccine. This means that the source for the out-break was the vaccine itself. The situation was sensationally exploited to terrorize parents who had been avoiding vaccines.

Big Business: Intentionally Creating a Paralyzing Pandemic

The horrors of polio were greatly exaggerated by the allopathic establishment’s across-the-board removal of tonsils, which is the only organ that produces polio antibodies. Around the same time, the newly-created F.D.A. began suppressing the use of silver in medicines, which was the only safely-digestable substance that was known to kill viruses (like polio). Finally, ‘the solution’ that industry desired, namely a vaccine, was released at the time that the epidemic was naturally ending, so that the industry’s vaccine could be given credit. All of this was orchestrated to manipulate the masses into buying into vaccines, radiation, and chemistry for health.

“During the polio epidemics, it was found that people who had their tonsils removed were 3 – 5 times more likely to develop paralysis
There were many at that time that suggested that polio was an iatrogenic disease [caused by the medical establishment]
we caused thousands of cases of paralysis. We did not cause the polio, but we converted people who would have recovered from a viral illness into people with a paralytic illness.”

– Dr. Mark Donohoe

With vaccinations, we convert people who may have had natural immune-strengthening infections like the flu, or chickenpox into people who have life-changing disorders like autism. None of the Amish children who had polio in their stools experienced paralysis, or any other horrific symptoms. That fortunate conclusion to their infections is likely the result of them lacking the ‘miracles’ of allopathic medicine.

We must wonder how four Amish children who live in an isolated community managed to become exposed to the unique chemically-inactivated vaccine strain of the polio virus. It is more than likely that such a thing was intentional, especially when the harassment by local health officials is considered. In addition, the vaccine strain that was discovered had not been used for five years, due to the possibility of it causing paralysis. After all, if some Amish children were to get sickened by the polio virus, the Amish may all rush to get their children vaccinated, and the science of vaccinations is proven with a wink and a nod.

The manner in which this was reported is very telling. For instance, if the vaccine strain of the polio virus was found in a normal child, would the media have made the story into front page news? Would it even have been reported? The Washington Post explained that both state and federal officials had informed them of the story. Misleading titles such as, “Polio Outbreak Occurs Among Amish Families In Minnesota” were then used to manipulate resistant parents with bio-terrorism.

When the Amish are simply left alone, to live free of chemical toxins found in our medicines and foods, they are not plagued with diseases, learning disabilities, or autism. They are categorically more intelligent, with the exception of advanced (college-level) writing skills, which is explainable by the fact that English is not their primary language. Could it be those same Amish ‘super genes’ at work again? Society could learn greatly from their example, if we would only stop poisoning ourselves, and our children on a routine basis.

The Information War

Opposition websites often claim that vaccinations are normal in the Amish community, and so is autism. These are lies. While there may be some small Amish groups which vaccinate, and thus have autism; neither is normal. The United Press, in conjunction with Generation Rescue, published a story about the rates of autism in an Amish community in Pennsylvania.

Reporter Dan Olmsted went searching for the autistic Amish. Statistically, there should have been around 130 Amish in the community he examined. Dan discovered 3 cases. The first was an adopted Chinese girl, who had suffered through all of her vaccinations on the same day. The second developed symptoms within 24 hours after getting vaccinated, and there was no information about the third case. The reporter even spoke with the local allopathic doctor, who the Amish sometimes visit whenever herbs and supplements do not suffice (ie. broken bones). The doctor admitted that he had never seen autism in the community.

Dr. Max Wiznitzer of University Hospitals in Cleveland is an expert witness for the government, and he fights against families who file for compensation in the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. He made a mistake when he admitted that autism rates in the Amish community are somewhere around 1 in 10,000. The rate for the rest of us is now about 1 in 50, and growing rapidly. The numbers are actually skewed against the Amish, since a tiny portion of their children are secretly vaccinated now.

We are waiting for real outbreaks of autism in the unvaccinated Amish. If you’re still unsure about the cause of autism, and are looking for studies then read, How To Cure Autism and The Time Bomb of Mercury Poisoning. Studies which purportedly disprove the link between autism and vaccinations have all been funded by the pharmaceutical industry. Truly independent studies have repeatedly shown the clear relationship.

No vaccine has ever undergone any independent, controlled, double-blind studies to determine safety and effectiveness. Seriously. Read the studies yourself, research extensively, and do the right thing. Opt out of vaccinations with a religious or philosophical exemption to defend your child. The public schools cannot legally turn you away if you do that, so learn your rights, and use them! Do it, or someday your own children may curse you for not doing the right thing.

China prepares for the wars of the future

Thursday, June 13th, 2013

 images-3

Even though the wars of the future are unlikely to be fought as those of the past or the present, China will tie all knots on its way to military superiority. The country is currently preparing to fight and most likely win the battles that will come on Earth, space and cyberspace.

The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) will conduct military maneuvers next month, during which it intends to test “new types of combat forces, including units that use digital technology”, as reported on Wednesday by Xinhua news agency.

The exercise will take place in late June at the Zhurihe Base, -the largest military training camp in the country, located in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-, as announced by the General Staff. The goal is to “conform to war with information technology.”

“It will be the first time the PLA maneuvers focus on combat forces with digital units, special operations forces, military aviation and electronic response forces”, said the Army.

The announcement comes at a time of growing concern in the United States and other countries about cyber attacks from China, a theme that President Barack Obama plans to address during the meeting that he will hold next week with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping.

The Pentagon has revealed concerns about computer incursions from the Asian country in a report to Congress this month. In it, the US military accuses Beijing of using cyber espionage to modernize its army, and states that the U.S. government has been hacked by intruders that appear to be linked “directly to the government and military of China.”

But Pentagon spokesman George Little and other Defense Department officials have downplayed and have called outdated and exaggerated a report published on Tuesday by the Washington Post, which ensures that Chinese hackers gained access to more than 20 designs of major weapons systems from the United States.

The newspaper quoted a confidential report of the Defense and Science Committee (DSB), a renowned expert group formed by civilian and government people. The committee does not point to China as the author of the theft of the designs, but accusations seem to be coming from Army officials and officers of the arms industry with knowledge of the infiltration.

Although Washington accuses Beijing of military intelligence espionage and is concerned about the increasingly assertive stance of China in the Asia-Pacific region, the military of the two powers have continued to strengthen ties in the past two years. The approach is intended to reduce the risk of a potential conflict between the two nuclear powers, increase mutual knowledge and collaboration on non-controversial topics such as disaster prevention and control of diseases.

But mutual distrust remains in subjects like cyber-espionage, the possibility of an arms race in space, the U.S. support for Taiwan and the Chinese distrust of Obama’s strategy to swing attention to Asia and increase the military presence in the Pacific.

Must See Commentary: “I Don’t Know What We’re Going To Wake Up To Tomorrow
”

Thursday, June 13th, 2013

Unknown-1

With seemingly endless scandals rocking the country, economic malaise spreading across the world, and super powers positioning their military assets on the grand chessboard, one can’t help but notice that the entire planet is devolving into completely insanity.

Uncertainty is at such a level that it’s impossible to know what happens next.

These people – our leaders, the purported best and brightest members of politics, finance, and industry – have brought us to the brink. What we are witnessing is a complete destabilization of our socio-economic systems and the rule of law, and it’s being fueled by pandemonium in the upper echelons of the global power structure.

Tying it all together can be a daunting task and certainly can’t be done in a thirty second mainstream media sound bite, but Chris Greene of AMTV does a pretty incredible job of it in about five minutes.

This is one commentary that’s not to be missed:

(Watch at Youtube)

Alright, so Obama’s about to launch World War III. I believe it’s already started. And this is all on the heels of the massive scandals. Too many to count. Honestly, I don’t know what I’m going to wake up to tomorrow.

All I know is that we’ve had scandal after scandal – Benghazi, the IRS scandal, the fact that he’s directly lied to our faces regarding the wire-tapping, not just of the Associated Press, but of innocent Americans, the surveillance state… total lies.

This next war is going to be biological… nuclear terror… there’s already a cyber war occurring… this is violence and terror at a whole new scale…

It really is unbelievable. So count on it, count on it. I don’t know what we’re going to wake up to tomorrow… we really don’t know.

We just know what the agenda is – lie straight to the American peoples’ faces as you take them to war and confiscate all their wealth – of which they’ve done a fantastic job.

So, the reset button, the massive reset button which always occurs throughout history – you know we see this with the rise and fall of empires – is war. That’s how they reset everything financially.

So that’s what’s on the Obama agenda as he sits in the war room… That’s what we have coming… war, death, destruction, and to a great extent could absolutely be the Armageddon.

It’s Either Us or Islam – Our Government Says “Islam”

Thursday, June 13th, 2013

sharia-law-220x220

by

I wrote an article recently on Russ Baker’s book “Family of Secrets.” The article is essentially about America’s connection to Saudi oil. The relationship began a long time ago in the early 1900s and through FDR. From that point, it grew into what it has become: Saudi oil to America in exchange for supporting the Saudis.

I make the claim that because of this connection, America is beholden to the Saudis. In order to keep that relationship strong and continue receiving their oil uninterrupted, America has promised to support the Saudis. Supporting the Saudis means allowing them to gain a foothold into America through oil. They currently are half-owners of the Motiva oil refinery in Port Arthur, TX, which has gotten them into over 33 individual states of the U.S. and has placed America in the position of actually bowing to the Saudis. Obama did this physically shortly after his first win as president in 2008.

Part of the problem with being in bed with the Saudis means that Islam comes with it. It’s kind of marrying someone and having to spend the same amount of time with the ugly step-daughter as well. Islam is part and parcel of Saudi Arabia.

Because of this, we see Islam becoming a protected ideology within the borders of America all the while Christianity and other religions are downplayed and even panned. Our federal government is under an obligation to ensure that the Saudis are given whatever they want because they sell us oil.

But in reality, does that relationship mean that our elected officials are concerned about Americans? Are they in bed with Saudis because they want to ensure that Americans do not run out of oil? It only looks like that. In truth, the relationship with the Saudis means that the people who are in charge of oil in this country are getting extremely wealthy. That is the reason our government is in bed with the Saudis.

Yes, Americans need oil and the pipeline between Saudi Arabia and America needs to remain open. But that is because those who control the oil have ensured that oil will always be the fuel that America needs. Oh, I’m aware of how Obama tried to pass himself off as the “green energy” president, by giving several alternative fuel companies millions and billions of dollars. These companies eventually failed. What Obama did was for looks. The companies were not supposed to succeed. It would have undermined the Saudi/American oil relationship and hurt people who have gained unimaginable wealth because of it. People like George Bush Sr., and Jr. as well as Cheney and a host of others, like the Rockefellers.

Obama is an interesting bird. When he first became president, his net worth was something like $1 and 6 million. He has since doubled that I believe. But if you consider that amount of money compared to what the Bushes have and the Rockefellers and others like them, having one to six million is like you and I having a few thousand. It’s nothing. Obama is truly the Manchurian puppet controlled by others who have allowed him to be where he is today and as long as he continues to obey them, he will gain some wealth. If he screws up, he will be exiled
like Nixon was through Watergate. You didn’t really think that the situation arose because Woodward and Bernstein were tremendous reporters, did you? They were used too, in order to bring down a president who did not want to continue playing the game and taking orders. He was unpredictable and not solid. He couldn’t be counted on and his paranoia was getting to him. He needed to be removed, but not killed. It’s politics. Do the research.

Because of the Saudis, America’s dependence upon them and their oil, and our government willing to do whatever to keep the oil pipeline open, Islam is being used. It was used during Jimmy Carter’s tenure as president as well, to bring down Communism then and it is being used now throughout the world (including America) to destabilize things.

Islam is not a religion and people need to get that through their heads. It is an ideology. That ideology – as Ann Barnhardt says – is one of sedition. It is impossible for Islam to work with other ideologies. It is impossible for Islam to settle for second place. Read the Qur’an yourself. I have three translations of it. Read it. Wrap your own brain around it and reject what others say about Islam (that it’s a religion of peace).

Our government is using Islam to create an unstable economy and society. It is illegally granting Islam the very things that it will not extend to Christianity or other religions found in America. The red carpet is slowly being rolled out and those in our government who are rolling it out are traitors to America. They need to be arrested and charged with sedition.

By rolling out the red carpet and bending over backwards for Islam, our government is essentially telling us that we need to accept Islam. I am fine with Muslims, as long as they abide by the same rules forced on me. Once I see they are getting a leg up or are given special privileges like they are, then I realize that something else is at play here and it needs to stop.

I reject the special privileges given to Islam! I will not choose Islam over freedom. I will never bow to Islam.

Americans are fighting a good many things these days and every fight is connected to our government. We are fighting to maintain the 1st Amendment, the 2nd Amendment, the 4th Amendment all the while our government is using the 5th Amendment to protect itself.

The trouble is that our government is being guided by its relationship with the Saudis. Because of that, we are really fighting against Islam because of Islam’s connection to the Saudis and it all goes back to our need for oil.

I know it sounds overly simplistic, but the truth is that this exists and essentially, the goal is to bring down America, the same way that Islam has nearly brought down The Netherlands and the UK and created havoc in France, Belgium, and other places.

The people who are in charge do not care about Americans. They care about lining their own pockets. They have become cesspools of greed. They need to be stopped and I think the best way to stop them is to stop Islam. Just as hundreds of people went to the recent “outreach” event in Tennessee featuring our government siding with Islam, we need to make sure that we are vigilant against Islam’s encroachment.

Recently, the San Francisco Airport used public money to turn part of one of their parking garages into an area of prayer for Muslims, complete with foot-washing basins. Would they have done so for Christians? Of course not. How do they get away with it when it is obviously illegal? No one complains, or not enough complain.

Being a Christian doesn’t mean being “nice” and getting along with everyone. Read the New Testament. John the Baptist didn’t get along with everyone. Neither did Jesus. Neither did His apostles and other followers. Why do we think that if we become righteously indignant about what is wrong with society, we are somehow bringing dishonor to Christ? Sorry, it’s the other way. By remaining silent, we become complicit and because of that, we bring dishonor to Christ.

It is time to make our stand, folks. It’s either us or Islam. Our government says “Islam.”

Why The Surveillance State Must Be Erased

instruction manual

In America today there is a great rushing storm, a swirling hurricane of clashing opinions and ideologies that defy coherent organization and classification.  This social tempest has been triggered by certain revelations among the general public on issues which we in the Liberty Movement have long been aware.  The fact that our government is bought and paid for by international corporate interests, the fact that our government has positioned itself to spy on ALL Americans without warrant and without probable cause, the fact that our government is instituting policy initiatives that target common citizens as enemy combatants, the fact that every one of our Constitutional rights is being deliberately torn away; these things are not news to us, but to many once ignorant people, they are a shock to the system.

Open corruption on the part of a criminal establishment has a funny way of politicizing everyone, even those people who go out of their way to avoid the bigger picture.  In the end, no man or woman gets a pass.  Whether you like it or not, one day soon, you will have to choose a side; freedom or tyranny.  There is no middle ground.  There is no Switzerland.

With all the rationalizations and counter-rationalizations flying around concerning the current avalanche of admissions and data leaks, it is easy to lose track of the root of the overall conflict.  It’s as if we have been dropped into the heart of an Amazonian swamp, our feet encased in a thick sludge of social inaction as a dark cloud of mindless mosquito-people buzz about us, pecking hungrily at our veins with their warped and uneducated world views.  The deafening chorus distracts us from what is truly important.

Here is the reality of our situation:

1) Both the Bush Administration and the Obama Administration supported FISA domestic surveillance legislation.  FISA is the legal tool which the federal government now uses to justify the monitoring of journalists and recently exposed mass surveillance programs such as PRISM.  Politicians from both the Republican and the Democratic parties have defended the use of FISA and PRISM.  Both parties support the destruction of your 4th Amendment rights.

2) The Obama Administration openly admits to the monitoring of journalist’s phone and email records in an attempt to thwart whistleblowers that might actually bring the truth of what the government is doing into the light of day.  Obama of course defends this position by claiming that “national security” is at stake.

3) Part of the motivation for surveillance measures against journalists has clearly been the Benghazi conspiracy, which is a thorn in the side of the establishment that refuses to go away.  Like Watergate, or Iran-Contra, the White House has been caught with its pants down and instead of admitting its guilt, has decided to attack the messengers instead.

4) Another motivation was certainly the exposure of the ATF’s “Fast And Furious” program, which funneled U.S. firearms into the hands of Mexican drug cartels so that American firearms dealers and owners could be blamed for the escalation of deadly violence south of the border.  Again, Obama and his handlers seek to use a suffocating surveillance grid in order to thwart whistleblowers and prevent federal crimes from being aired in public.

5) The use of the IRS as a weapon against the political enemies of the establishment (namely Tea Party groups) verifies that government surveillance without oversight can indeed lead to political profiling and unjustified punishment.

6) The PRISM scandal, leaked by former CIA operative and NSA contractor Edward Snowden, has given the general public a raw naked look at the reality of the FISA spy initiative.  In the past, Liberty Movement champions have been derided as “paranoid” for pointing out that there were no limitations to FISA, and that the entire nation might one day be monitored and catalogued like animals in a great technological cage.  Today, the public now knows that this concern is concrete and undeniable.  EVERYONE is being watched.  Reports now estimate that NSA hackers harvest over 2.1 million gigabytes of data on American citizens per hour.

7) Privacy rights have been so debased that the invasion of our electronic communications is the least of our worries.  The Supreme Court has ruled in Maryland v. King that police now have the authority to extract DNA samples from any person placed under arrest, without a warrant, and without due process.  This means that the second a law enforcement officer places you in cuffs, your genetic materials are no longer your property, even if the charges against you are erroneous (if charges are ever filed at all).  The government admits to having at least 10 million people catalogued in their genetic database already.

8) Since 9/11, U.S. cities have added approximately 30 million new CCTV cameras on top of those already in operation.  After the Boston Bombing, even more are expected to be installed.  There are few places in most major cities where you are not being watched, and even smaller municipalities with miniscule crime rates are beginning to follow suit.

It would seem that our government has somehow overlooked the 4th Amendment of our Constitution, and statist rationalists would do well to study it before defending their actions.  Let’s read it, shall we?

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Now let’s examine the arguments of the establishment in favor of the Surveillance State:

Argument #1:  Mass Surveillance Has Been Going On For A Long Time And Is Nothing New

Dianne Feinstein and Lindsey Graham, perhaps the most evil political duo since McCain and Lieberman, have both used the above talking point in order to rationalize the mass surveillance of FISA and PRISM.  But let’s put this in perspective

Feinstein and Graham are essentially saying that because the government has criminally trespassed on our privacy for years, we should not complain when we discover that the invasion was a bit more elaborate than we had originally suspected.  They are saying that because we allowed them to get away with taking an inch, we might as well allow them to get away with taking a mile.  This is the logical fallacy of incrementalism, and tyrants use it in their arguments all the time.

Despotism rarely establishes itself overnight.  Rather, it slithers slowly into the midst of a society like a parasite, and carefully entrenches itself under our skin bit-by-bit so that we do not notice until it is buried so deep we fear removing it at all.  A line must be drawn in the sand eventually.  Past mistakes are not a license for future failures and future regrets, and anyone who claims otherwise is trying to take something away from you.

Argument #2:  If You’re Not Talking To Terrorists, Then You Have Nothing To Worry About

Another debate point from the bottom feeding Lindsey Graham.  First off, our Constitutional rights are not predicated on whether or not we are guilty of “terrorism”.  Even a so-called terrorist is supposed to be protected under the Bill of Rights.  The law is very clear, and this is not a negotiable position.  Every American, regardless of government suspicion, has a right to privacy, and is protected from unreasonable search and seizure without probable cause.  Period.  Graham’s argument perpetuates the fallacy that the word “terrorism” is somehow a magical pass-key that allows the federal government to bypass Constitutional barriers.  I’m sorry to tell Lindsey that he is greatly mistaken.

Secondly, the very foundation of a free society requires that every person be treated as INNOCENT until proven guilty.  Mass surveillance twists this principle, so that all people are treated by the state as guilty until proven innocent.  Such a system will inevitably generate a vast rift between the populace and the government because it designates the political elite as the “watchers” and the public as the “watched”.  As history has shown us, the “watchers” always become the enslavers, and the “watched” always become the enslaved.

I’m not sure why so many people, including U.S. senators, do not seem to grasp this concept.

Argument #3:  We Must Trust That The Government Is Using The Surveillance Apparatus For Good

Barack Obama in defense of the leaked PRISM initiative and all encompassing NSA surveillance stated that Americans must simply “trust” that the federal system is using the data they have criminally harvested for the good of the country.  That is to say, we should have “faith” in the White House.

I’m sorry, but the Constitution was written exactly because governments are run by men, NOT benevolent gods, and men are notorious for abusing power.  The Constitution exists because NO government can be trusted to act in a principled manner.  We do not have to “trust” them because tight constitutional restrictions are in place to ensure that they aren’t given enough slack to become dangerous.  When those restrictions are diminished, we get programs like PRISM

The checks and balances of due process and warrants are supposed to be absolutely public and transparent so that we can see, with our own eyes, that all is being handled justly and honorably.  Mass surveillance in particular is an affront to the 4th Amendment because there is no conceivable way that warrants could ever be issued for the incredible volume of materials gathered, and therefore, there is no conceivable way that any legitimate judicial oversight is being enforced.  Secret courts, secret charges, secret programs targeting entire subsections of the population, were expressly forbidden by the Founding Fathers as totalitarian in nature.

In February of this year, Obama boasted during a Google Plus “Fireside Chat” that his was “the most transparent administration in history”.  The ability of politicians to lie with sociopathic expertise is well documented, hence, my lack of faith.

The government and the Obama White House in particular do not deserve our trust.  Trust has to be earned

Argument #4:  Surveillance Programs Are Essential To The Safety Of The Public

At this point I find that anyone who still uses the “safety” position to justify the trampling of our freedoms is a lost cause.  Years ago, when the surveillance grid was being put into place through legal chicanery, the common skeptic would insist that such subversive laws had not yet hurt anyone, and that the concerns of the Liberty Movement were “overblown”.  Today, it’s no longer about theory.  Our cultural pain is real, people are being targeted, people are suffering, and it’s only going to get worse from here on.  And, as we warned a long time ago, the concept of “collective safety” would be the primary persuasion technique used to lead America further into oblivion.

In a race to spin the leak of PRISM, lawmakers and establishment shills have come out in droves to suggest that the secret surveillance state has “stopped terrorist attacks” and “saved lives”.  Of course, because all the details of the program are classified, we’ll never see any proof that such claims are true.  What a conundrum.  Frankly, I know enough about government sponsored terrorism to understand that even if PRISM thwarted an attack, our clandestine alphabet bureaucracy has created far more death and destruction than they have ever prevented.

In the end, I couldn’t care less if PRISM stopped a terrorist act.  The point is irrelevant.  Our civil liberties are not subject to the supposed success of an unconstitutional government action.  The promise of safety does not nullify our rights, nor does it give government capital to do whatever it pleases.

Comfort Means Death

I believe the establishment has moved away from the denial of so many abuses because it hopes to convince us that this is the “new normal” of our society.  They want us to embrace the surveillance state and become comfortable in its cradling arms.  I do not plan to get “comfortable”.  When political villains no longer fear the exposure of their villainy, it is time to start worrying.

There has been a lot of unrestrained conjecture on the motivations of the suddenly world-famous Edward Snowden.  The fact is we still know very little about him, and for now I will reserve judgment; partially because I know that one day people like myself could be accused of “fomenting controlled opposition” or “working for the enemy”.  Our culture has become so cynical that we refuse to believe that anyone does anything anymore out of a sense of principle.

Whatever Snowden’s original intentions, I find his admitted reasons inspiring.  When asked why he forced the truth of PRISM into the mainstream, Snowden replied:

“I don’t want to live in a society that does these sort of things … I do not want to live in a world where everything I do and say is recorded. That is not something I am willing to support or live under
”

“I’m willing to sacrifice all of that [career and former life] because I can’t in good conscience allow the U.S. government to destroy privacy, Internet freedom and basic liberties for people around the world with this massive surveillance machine they’re secretly building.”

“My sole motive is to inform the public as to that which was done in their name and that which is done against them
I understand that I will be made to suffer for my actions. I will be satisfied if the federation of secret law, unequal pardon and irresistible executive powers that rule the world that I love are revealed even for an instant.”

The surveillance machine is the key to control.  When each person feels the eyes of the state constantly upon them, dissent and rebellion becomes unthinkable.  At the very least, those of us who are aware of the great Orwellian shift before us must take an immovable stand.

The right to privacy is an inherent right of natural law. No individual or government system should be allowed legal precedence to invade my privacy, and all people have the right to be treated as innocent until proven guilty rather than guilty until proven innocent. As an individual, I do not owe the collective, or the government, a constant update on whether or not I am a “threat”. In fact, I don’t owe anyone anything.

If someone continues to treat me as an enemy and constantly tramples my natural right to privacy, I am going to fight them, and I am going to hurt them, perhaps mortally. This is what people who support surveillance society need to understand; there will be consequences for their trespasses against the natural rights of others.

There can be no negotiation.  There can be no compromise.  The surveillance state must be erased.

Senator Al Franken: from SNL spoofer to State surveillance hawk

Wednesday, June 12th, 2013

Unknown-1

Al used to be a funny guy. Now, he’s not.

Make no mistake about it, if Bush were president at the moment, Little Al would be attacking him mercilessly.

But with Obama in the White House, Al sings a different tune.

The NSA spying is A-OK. No problem.

“I can assure you, this is not about spying on the American people.”

Thanks, Al.

“There are certain things that are appropriate for me to know that are not appropriate for the bad guys to know.”

Al, you see, has been briefed. He’s bought into those “high-level” briefings. He now resides in a rarefied elite atmosphere. If Senator Al says NSA is good, it must be.

If you believe him, I’ve got condos for sale on Jupiter.

Al even thinks it’s appropriate for the Justice Dept. to investigate Ed Snowden, the NSA leaker. Well sure, Al’s Mr. Establishment these days, and Snowden defected.

Al used to have a bullshit detector. Now, bullshit is detecting him as an easy mark.

Who in his right mind would believe a bunch of CIA and NSA guys sitting in a room explaining and justifying their own spying programs?

Is there any chance these cold-fish bureaucrats would do a mea culpa? They’re looking for more budget dollars. They’re looking to avoid any possible criticisms of their plots and operations. They’re professionals paid to lie.

So they’re going to paint the war on terror in the most dire terms possible. They’re going to tell stories and make it up. They’re going to give gullible and grasping senators the impression they’re privy to real insider material.

They’re going to say, “Now you’re in the Club. You know secrets. You know the truth the public must be protected from, because the public would be frightened. But you guys, you senators, you can handle the truth
”

Al’s sitting there in the room, and he poised half-way between buying what the intell boys are selling and knowing he wants to protect his president and his party.

It’s a sucker’s game. Al has gone for it. Willingly.

On SNL, Al, as Stuart Smalley, the pathetic rainbow self-help psycho, used to look in the mirror and say, “I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and doggone it, people like me.”

Well, now Al IS Stuart Smalley, but with a new tough-guy exterior. He’s a little man of steel, protecting the nation from the bad guys. He’s on the inside, with the big boys. And they like him.

So, Stuart, I’ve written a thing for you about surveillance of citizens that falls in line with your New Age sentiments. I hope it helps you in the days ahead:

It’s wonderful to be spied on: I feel like a real citizen.

I tell you, this is great. Why be anonymous when you can attract the attention of the government? It’s a dream come true. They care. They really do.

Everyone deserves to be noticed.

If I start to do something that isn’t normal, I can stop and say to myself: “Would the government, watching me, approve of this?” And then an answer will come.

“No, don’t do that.”

We’re all movie stars now because we’re being watched. Don’t blow your nose and then look at the Kleenex in a restaurant.

We’re comedians, too, all of us, because government employees are watching us and laughing. We’re entertaining them. We’re funny. We’re a hit.

We’re all happy. That’s the main thing. The right people are watching us, and we can feel safe. That’s why we have the Department of Homeland Security. They do whatever it takes. If it snows an inch in North Dakota in July, they’ll send agents to the scene, to find out what’s going on. They’ll make sure the snow plows are working.

The new test for a good citizen is: he accepts being spied on.

There should be a special app you can tap to confess your sins and misdeeds. What you say goes right into a government file. I think a lot of people would like that.

Broadcast it on television, too. People will line up to have their chance. We’ve got C-Span. But we need C-NSA. Go before the cameras and spill your guts. It’s good for the soul.

“Last night, I was on the phone with my cousin, and I said I was sick and tired of my ex-wife badgering me about our divorce settlement. That was wrong. I shouldn’t have demeaned my ex to my cousin. I want to go on the record and apologize to my family, friends, and co-workers. I will seek counseling. I want a better world.”

“I bought a toy gun for my son last year. How foolish of me! What was I thinking? Toy guns are a gateway drug. Last night, I took the family out into the back yard and we burned the gun in a garbage can. I feel a lot better now. Thank you, C-NSA. I fervently hope my son’s brain isn’t permanently warped. Time will tell. In the meantime, we’ve enrolled him in a three-year training seminar: Reprogramming the Young Mind, Post-Trauma.”

But you know, as much as we try to correct our mistakes, we aren’t perfect. And that’s where the government comes in. My only concern is there isn’t enough surveillance.

That’s why I’ve built a frame for a small video camera. The camera is mounted in the frame, which I wear around my neck and shoulders. Wherever I go, whatever I do or say, the camera is looking at me and recording.

Every day, I email the video file to NSA. I hope others will adopt this practice. If government is helping us, we should help it. We’re all in this together.

There isn’t any “us versus them.” That’s an illusion fostered by those who wish to divide us. United we stand in the New Age.

Surveillance is an initiation. Some people can’t make the grade. They go negative. They feel compelled to criticize the government. Courage, as Hemingway wrote, is grace under pressure. This is how heroes are forged.

We can all be heroes by assisting the government. It wants us to do well. It wants us to succeed. It likes us.

I don’t hear any poor people objecting to being spied on. They’re too busy trying to eke out a living. Why should we, who can afford the time to consider this issue, separate ourselves from the poor? In a drug store, on a bus, in a car, walking down the street, in an office, in our homes, let’s celebrate the safety that comes with knowing we are watched.

Try smiling for no reason at all. Let employees of the NSA know you’re happy to have them there with you. Occasionally, flash them the peace sign. You might even try talking to them.

Ask them if they’re having a good time. Say, “I hope you’re doing well. It’s a wonderful day in the neighborhood.” Or, “How’s the family? Would you like a hot meal? If you let me know where you are, I might know someone who lives nearby. They can bring it to you. Do you like pot roast?”

I’m having shirts monogrammed with the NSA seal below the pocket.

I do have one suggestion, vague as it must be, since I don’t posses knowledge about the various forms surveillance takes:

Feedback. I believe earnest citizens would like to see and hear what the NSA hears and sees of them.

How wonderful it would be to awaken in the morning to a packet of surveillance on one’s self.

There you are, crossing the street, entering a cafe, talking on the phone, as you appear to NSA (by whom I mean, of course, all the agencies who watch over us).

We could thus begin a kind of dialogue with our watchers. Back and forth, back and forth; who knows where it would lead?

I call it open secrecy, a paradox to be sure, but just the type that would crack the egg of a combative society as it transforms itself into a higher evolutionary substance.

Some day, perhaps we could even watch the NSA watching us.

Then, truly, we would breathe together. Made new in collective consciousness.

How do you like that, Stuart? Isn’t it an illustration of self-help, self-improvement, as we seek to love being spied on?

Joe The Plumber: Instead of Taking Care Of Business, They’re Getting Into Ours

Tuesday, June 11th, 2013

You know what the problem with America is? We haven’t had to try our hardest in a long, long time and it’s showing. It’s been over 70 years since we had to pull out all the stops and put the totality of our civilian know-how and full power of our military forces to the maximum test and since then, only feeling it necessary to half-ass it has come home to roost. I’m not sure most of the world even believes we have one-tenth of the actual fighting muscle, technology and blasting tonnage we actually possess. Part of the problem is that since World War II, with the exception of Ronald Reagan, who defeated the Soviet Union without firing a shot, the place has been run for the most part by a bunch of pansies. We’ve been busy running around trying to get everyone to like us instead of just taking care of business.

C-130_Hercules_10-315x236Just how civilized are we? The reason I ask is to get your attention. The answer is we are not. We pretend to be, but fooling ourselves that all cultures deserve equal respect and failing to teach our kids how to stand up to a bully is going to get them and everyone else killed when they grow up. The real bullies that await them out in the big world don’t listen to time-outs or playing nice-nice in politically-correct academia. So here we are today, spying on our own citizens in the hope that we’ll be able to thwart terrorists instead of just taking care of business.

By us trying to make friends with every Tom, Dick, and Akbar we have opened ourselves up for attack from a multitude of terrorist countries and organizations. Our own government has taken advantage of the situation to invade our privacy and to strip away our rights. Lawmakers think the best way to keep us safe is to spy on our own citizens. They say they are doing this for our own good. I say they have stepped way over the friggin line of right and wrong.

When you provoke someone bigger, stronger and more lethal – you would normally expect the worse. America is that someone that is bigger stronger and more lethal – YET – all we do is throw jabs
Figuratively and literally. When America is provoked we need to show our enemies their blood and guts, fast, quick and in a hurry. Stop pussy-footing around. Remember President Reagan’s reaction when Muammar Gaddafi was determined to have destroyed Pan Am Flight 103? Yeah, we lobbed a Mark 82 smart bomb into the Gaddafi family tent. Not only did Muammar not act up for about 15 years, he gave up his weapons program. There is only one thing these jamokes understand, folks. But here we are, using Google and Verizon to infringe upon American’s civil liberties in order to figure out the terrorist’s next move – instead of just taking care of business.

Terrorists need money to operate and arm themselves and if you cut off the funding, you cut off the terror. We spend $80 billion a year on these NSA programs which infringe on our Fourth Amendment rights – why aren’t we spending that money to stop the funding and organizing of actual terrorism? We know who is doing the funding – make like Reagan and blast a cap in their ass!

I say the best way of keeping America safe is to unleash her. When someone provokes America we bury them. We hit them hard, fast and without mercy. We make it known around the world that America will destroy you if you screw with us. Period – end of story. We will save more lives in the long run by using fire to fight fire.  And when we’re done, make it clear to every leader of every country that the next one is coming for them unless they begin helping us ferret-out these murderous animals wherever they operate. But no, we’re busy trying to figure out who you’re Skype-ing late at night, instead of just taking care of business.

Here’s an idea: Drop a two-thousand pound bomb out in the desert where it can only kill a few goats and tell that Mahmoud Ahmadinnerjacket to look out his window because another one is being fed-exed to him if he doesn’t shape up and fly right. Better yet, blow every single facility in Iran that even resembles a nuclear plant to rubble.

What are they going to do – start hating us?

Now, where it concerns the CIA, FBI, NSA, Congress, the White House, President Obama, the IRS, EPA, E, I, E, I, O and anyone else violating the Constitution and the laws of this land YOU ARE FIRED – and possibly hanged for treason. Got it?

As you were.

NSA Leaker: Are there serious cracks in Ed Snowden’s story?

Tuesday, June 11th, 2013

Analysis

First, I’m not doubting the documents Ed Snowden has brought forward. I’m not doubting the illegal reach of the NSA in spying on Americans and the world.

But as to how this recent revelation happened, and whether Ed Snowden’s history holds up
I have questions.

Could Snowden have been given extraordinary access to classified info as part of a larger scheme? Could he be a) an honest man and yet b) a guy who was set up to do what he’s doing now?

If b) is true, then Snowden fits the bill perfectly. He wants to do what he’s doing. He isn’t lying about that. He means what he says.

Okay. Let’s look at his history as reported by The Guardian.

In 2003, at age 19, without a high school diploma, Snowden enlists in the Army. He begins a training program to join the Special Forces. The sequence here is fuzzy. At what point after enlistment can a new soldier start this training program? Does he need to demonstrate some exceptional ability before Special Forces puts him in that program?

Snowden breaks both legs in a training exercise. He’s discharged from the Army. Is that automatic? How about healing and then resuming Army service? Just asking.

If he was accepted in the Special Forces training program because he had special computer skills, then why discharge him simply because he broke both legs?

Circa 2003 (?), Snowden gets a job as a security guard for an NSA facility at the University of Maryland. He specifically wanted to work for NSA? It was just a generic job opening he found out about?

Also in 2003 (?), Snowden shifts jobs. He’s now in the CIA, in IT. He has no high school diploma. He’s a young computer genius?

In 2007, Snowden is sent to Geneva. He’s only 23 years old. The CIA gives him diplomatic cover there. He’s put in charge of maintaining computer-network security. Major job. Obviously, he has access to a very wide range of classified documents. Sound a little odd? Again, just asking. He’s just a kid. Maybe he has his GED by now. Otherwise, he still doesn’t have a high school diploma.

Snowden says that during this period, in Geneva, one of the incidents that really sours him on the CIA is the “turning of a Swiss banker.” One night, CIA guys get a banker drunk, encourage him to drive home, the banker gets busted, the CIA guys help him out, then with that bond formed, they eventually get the banker to reveal deep banking secrets to the Agency.

Snowden is this naïve? He doesn’t know by now that the CIA does this sort of thing all the time? He’s shocked? He “didn’t sign up for this?”

In 2009, Snowden leaves the CIA. Why? Presumably because he’s disillusioned. It should be noted here that Snowden claimed he could do very heavy damage to the entire US intelligence community in 2008, but decided to wait because he thought Obama, just coming into the presidency, might make good changes.

After two years with the CIA in Geneva, Snowden really had the capability to take down the whole US intelligence network, or a major chunk of it? He had that much access to classified data?

Anyway, in 2009, Snowden leaves the CIA and goes to work for a private defense contractor. Apparently, by this time, he knows all about the phony US war in Iraq, and yet he chooses to work for a sector that relentlessly promotes such wars. Go figure.

This defense contractor (unnamed) assigns him to work at an NSA facility in Japan. Surely, Snowden understands what the NSA is. He knows it’s a key part of the whole military-intelligence network, the network he opposes.

But he takes the job anyway. Perhaps he’s doing it so he can obtain further access to classified data, in advance of blowing a big whistle. Perhaps.

Snowden goes on to work for two private defense contractors, Dell and Booz Allen Hamilton. In this latter job, Snowden is again assigned to work at the NSA.

He’s an outsider, but he claims to have so much sensitive NSA data that he can take down the whole US intelligence network in a single day. Hmm.

These are red flags. They raise questions. Serious ones.

If The Guardian, which has such close access to Snowden, wants to explore these questions, they might come up with some interesting answers.

Again, I’m not doubting that the documents Snowden has brought forward are real. I have to assume they are. I certainly don’t doubt the reach and the power and the criminality of the NSA.

Although I’m sure someone will write me and say I’m defending the NSA. I’M NOT.

But if Snowden was maneuvered, in his career, without his knowing it, to arrive at just this point, then we have a whole new story. We have a story about unknown forces who wanted this exposure to occur.

Who would these forces be? I could make lots of guesses. But they would just be guesses.

Perhaps all the anomalies in the career of Ed Snowden can be explained with sensible answers. I realize that. But until they are, I put the questions forward. And leave them there.

An Urgent Message to All Americans

An Urgent Appeal to All American to come forward and report on Criminal and Unconstitutional Activity with our U.S. Government was just delivered online. The purpose of the YouTube message from YouTube channel user roypotterqa is to encourage All Americans to stop protecting activity that is underway within the government that is plainly Unconstitutional. The YouTube channel is not too widely known, but enjoys a growing audience due to his past involvement within the government and military – and insider connections.

Roy’s message stands on it’s own symbolically, as it represents what most Americans see as justice. This is an important message and the possibility exists that Roy is taking a significant risk in his public message urging All Americans to consider the greater damage to our country by standing by and doing nothing.

This message is also a dire warning, in that as many also believe, we are close to some catastrophic event that may signal the end of our Republic form of government. There are many corresponding sources of information that corroborate this opinion of imminent danger.

The posting of this video represents due diligence as a reporter and is meant to inform the public of it’s existence. As an Internet News Service, Intellihub.com takes a neutral opinion in terms of our objective of reporting on current events – although our personal opinion(s) may or may not be in agreement with this video message. We stand by our First Amendment Right to publish this Open Source Video and present it to the public unedited for their informational purposes.

The very word “secrecy” is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control. And no official of my Administration, whether his rank is high or low, civilian or military, should interpret my words here tonight as an excuse to censor the news, to stifle dissent, to cover up our mistakes or to withhold from the press and the public the facts they deserve to know.

Today no war has been declared — and however fierce the struggle may be, it may never be declared in the traditional fashion. Our way of life is under attack. Those who make themselves our enemy are advancing around the globe. The survival of our friends is in danger. And yet no war has been declared, no borders have been crossed by marching troops, no missiles have been fired.

If the press is awaiting a declaration of war before it imposes the self-discipline of combat conditions, then I can only say that no war ever posed a greater threat to our security. If you are awaiting a finding of “clear and present danger,” then I can only say that the danger has never been more clear and its presence has never been more imminent.

It requires a change in outlook, a change in tactics, a change in missions — by the government, by the people, by every businessman or labor leader, and by every newspaper. For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence — on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. It conducts the Cold War, in short, with a war-time discipline no democracy would ever hope or wish to match.

Nevertheless, every democracy recognizes the necessary restraints of national security — and the question remains whether those restraints need to be more strictly observed if we are to oppose this kind of attack as well as outright invasion.

No President should fear public scrutiny of his program. For from that scrutiny comes understanding; and from that understanding comes support or opposition. And both are necessary. I am not asking your newspapers to support the Administration, but I am asking your help in the tremendous task of informing and alerting the American people. For I have complete confidence in the response and dedication of our citizens whenever they are fully informed. Source: John F. Kennedy

A SEVERE Storm Warning: Purchasing Power Collapses at 10% Annually

Monday, June 10th, 2013

The Fed Z1 dropped a couple of days ago and I’ve been perusing it as I usually do, looking for anything particularly noteworthy.

What should have been all over the financial media wasn’t tough to spot.  What was difficult was finding any mention of it anywhere in that media.

Bluntly, any discussion of the problem has been absent.

Let’s quote from The Fed release:

Household debt edged down at an annual rate of 0.6 percent in the first quarter. Home mortgage debt contracted 2.3 percent, about the same as the decline in 2012. Consumer credit rose at an annual rate of 5.7 percent, slightly less than the increase in 2012.

Nonfinancial business debt rose at an annual rate of 5.3 percent in the first quarter, after a 6 percent increase in 2012. As in recent years, corporate bonds accounted for the largest increase.

State and local government debt rose at an annual rate of 1.9 percent in the first quarter, after declining slightly in 2012. Federal government debt rose at an annual rate of 10.3 percent in the first quarter of 2013 after a 10.9 percent increase last year.

That’s the “big picture.”  Consumer debt has gone exactly nowhere.  The so-called “recovery” has been carried by business debt that has grown at a rate roughly double that of economic expansion, and the government is growing debt at a rate more than triple that rate.

The “big picture” looks like this:

Note that the absolute level of debt to GDP, however, refuses to go under 350%; it has now started rising again but is entirely coming from two sectors — business credit and the Federal Government.

The problem with this paradigm is that we’re doing the same thing that led to the 2008 blowup — we’ve learned exactly nothing.  In real terms our GDP is in fact contracting by about $500 billion a quarter, after adjusting for debt expansion — that’s $2 trillion a year, more or less.

This is real purchasing power out of your pocket.

That’s not an annualized figure it’s a quarterly one.  For annualized take it to the 4th power, of course — which means we’re contracting in purchasing power adjusted for new debt at more than 10% over the last four quarters.

It gets worse.

Note that your real income, annualized and ignoring the leverage expansion (or contraction) of financial firms, took a big dump last quarter.  This is due to the non-financial business and federal government debt expansion coupled with a negative personal income change last quarter.

Meanwhile monetary inflation in real terms .vs. income looks like this:

You’re falling further and further behind — again.  The difference is that this time consumers are not gearing up. Whether because they can’t or simply refuse doesn’t matter in the end; what matters is that it’s not happening, which means this so-called “expansion” driven by ZIRP and deficits has a use-by date that has expired and we are now trying to evade the fact that the fish is well into the “stinks up the joint” stage.

This is all bad.  The imminent danger signals, however, are found here:

The gap between corporate equity prices and tangible assets is greater now than it was in 2007 — materially so.  Equity values are higher and tangible assets are lower.

This is not (yet) to the level of 1999/2000, but it’s getting there and we didn’t have to go that far last time to get a nasty blow-up.  All it takes is something going wrong — like, for instance, in Japan or Europe.

The non-financial leverage ratio is also warning of trouble ahead:

Again, corporate leverage is once again reaching for the sky and warns of markets being “priced for perfection.”

Since perfection is rarely achieved….

Government Spying: Should We Be Shocked?

Sunday, June 9th, 2013

ron paul

Last week we saw dramatic new evidence of illegal government surveillance of our telephone calls, and of the National Security Agency’s deep penetration into American companies such as Facebook and Microsoft to spy on us. The media seemed shocked.

Many of us are not so surprised.

Some of us were arguing back in 2001 with the introduction of the so-called PATRIOT Act that it would pave the way for massive US government surveillance—not targeting terrorists but rather aimed against American citizens. We were told we must accept this temporary measure to provide government the tools to catch those responsible for 9/11. That was nearly twelve years and at least four wars ago.

We should know by now that when it comes to government power-grabs, we never go back to the status quo even when the “crisis” has passed. That part of our freedom and civil liberties once lost is never regained. How many times did the PATRIOT Act need renewed? How many times did FISA authority need expanded? Why did we have to pass a law to grant immunity to companies who hand over our personal information to the government?

It was all a build-up of the government’s capacity to monitor us.

The reaction of some in Congress and the Administration to last week’s leak was predictable. Knee-jerk defenders of the police state such as Senator Lindsey Graham declared that he was “glad” the government was collecting Verizon phone records—including his own—because the government needs to know what the enemy is up to. Those who take an oath to defend the Constitution from its enemies both foreign and domestic should worry about such statements.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers tells us of the tremendous benefits of this Big Brother-like program. He promises us that domestic terrorism plots were thwarted, but he cannot tell us about them because they are classified. I am a bit skeptical, however. In April, the New York Times reported that most of these domestic plots were actually elaborate sting operations developed and pushed by the FBI. According to the Times report, “of the 22 most frightening plans for attacks since 9/11 on American soil, 14 were developed in sting operations.”

Even if Chairman Rogers is right, though, and the program caught someone up to no good, we have to ask ourselves whether even such a result justifies trashing the Constitution. Here is what I said on the floor of the House when the PATRIOT Act was up for renewal back in 2011:

“If you want to be perfectly safe from child abuse and wife beating, the government could put a camera in every one of our houses and our bedrooms, and maybe there would be somebody made safer this way, but what would you be giving up? Perfect safety is not the purpose of government. What we want from government is to enforce the law to protect our liberties.”

What most undermines the claims of the Administration and its defenders about this surveillance program is the process itself. First the government listens in on all of our telephone calls without a warrant and then if it finds something it goes to a FISA court and get an illegal approval for what it has already done! This turns the rule of law and due process on its head.

The government does not need to know more about what we are doing. We need to know more about what the government is doing. We need to turn the cameras on the police and on the government, not the other way around. We should be thankful for writers like Glenn Greenwald, who broke last week’s story, for taking risks to let us know what the government is doing. There are calls for the persecution of Greenwald and the other whistle-blowers and reporters. They should be defended, as their work defends our freedom.

Who is Behind Killings of Civilians?

Sunday, June 9th, 2013

images-1

by Stephen Lendman

Since early 2011, ongoing blame game strategy holds Syria responsible for Western-enlisted death squad crimes.

In August 2011, the Human Rights Council (HRC) appointed a so-called Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Syria (COI). Paulo Pinheiro heads it.

His mandate is pro-Western propaganda. Credibility isn’t his long suit. His reports bear testimony to his bias. He wrongfully blames Assad for insurgent crimes. He’s done so throughout his tenure.

Washington calls the shots. Pinheiro and other COI members salute and obey. So do HRC officials. Truth is verboten. False reports up the stakes for full-blown US-led NATO intervention.

On June 4, 1,000 US marines arrived in Jordan. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel approved them along with deployment of F-16s, Patriot missiles and other weapons.

Operation Eager Lion 2013 is pretext. Eighteen countries will participate. Exercises begin later in June. They’ll last two months. According to US Central Command spokesman Lt. Col. TG Taylor:

“In order to enhance the defensive posture and capacity of Jordan, some of these assets may remain beyond the exercise at the request of the government of Jordan.”

Jordan needs no enhanced defensive posture. Deploying US troops and weapons near Syria’s border is provocative. Perhaps COI timed its new report release with their arrival. More on that below.

Pinheiro admits anti-Assad forces commit violations and abuses. They pale, he says, compared to government wrongdoing. He lies saying so. He’s paid to lie.

On June 4, COI issued its latest report. It covers the period January 15 – May 15, 2013. Three others preceded it.

The UN News Centre headlined “Independent UN panel calls for diplomatic surge to end ‘daily reality’ of war crimes in Syria.”

Syria was invaded. There’s nothing civil about ongoing conflict. COI persists in characterizing it that way. Doing so distorts reality on the ground. COI’s report states:

“War crimes and crimes against humanity have become a daily reality in Syria where the harrowing accounts of victims have seared themselves on our conscience. Referral to justice remains paramount.”

COI discussed “systematic imposition of sieges, the use of chemical agents and forcible displacement.”

According to Pinheiro, “Syria is in free-fall. No one is winning and will not win the war. More weapons will only lead to more civilians dead and wounded.”

He stops short of truth and full disclosure. It’s not his mandate. Syria was invaded. It’s victimized by Washington-initiated aggression. Obama bears full responsibility.

Pinheiro urges dialogue to end conflict. How can it when Obama prioritizes war? So far, proxy foot soldiers wage it.

Ending hostilities requires calling them off, halting all funding, arming, training and directing, as well as telling complicit allies to cease and desist all anti-Syrian activities.

Pinheiro’s a willing co-conspirator. “We ask that States exert influence over the parties to the conflict to compel them to protect civilians,” he urges.

Only one state matters. Washington calls the shots. What it says goes. As long as Obama prioritizes regime change, expect conflict to continue.

COI ignores the grim reality. It was formed to do so. It’s a pro-Western tool. So-called findings were based on 430 interviews and “other collected evidence.”

Who was interviewed wasn’t explained. Clearly anti-Assad elements were featured at the expense of government loyalists. More on Pinheiro’s report below.

On June 2, Al Manar reported a recent NATO study. Western organizations conducted it. The World Tribune said it shows Syrian forces winning decisively.

On June 4, Western media reported Syria in full control of Qusair. It’s a strategic town bordering Lebanon. It’s part of an insurgent supply route. According to General Yahya Suleiman:

“Whoever controls Qusair control the center of the country, and whoever controls the center of the country controls all of Syria.”

Syrian state television said “Our heroic armed forces have returned security and stability to all of the town of Qusair.”

NATO said 70% of Syrians support Assad. They do so for good reason. They’re alarmed about Al Qaeda, Al Nusra, and other extremist elements waging war, committing atrocities and other crimes.

According to an unnamed Western source, “Assad is winning the war mostly because the people are cooperating with him against the rebels.”

He omitted explaining why. They want no part of foreign invaders. They reject US-led belligerent intervention. They want Syrian sovereignty respected. They want no outside force deciding who’ll rule their country. Above all, they want peace and stability restored.

According to COI, government forces and affiliated militia committed “murder, torture, rape, forcible displacement, enforced disappearances and other inhumane acts.”

Pinheiro calls ongoing conflict part of Assad’s systematic attack on civilians. He lied saying so. Assad’s doing his job. He’s battling foreign invaders. He’s obligated to do so. Syrians express gratitude.

Pinheiro admits anti-government forces commit crimes of war and against humanity. According to COI’s report:

“The violations and abuses committed by anti-Government armed groups did not, however, reach the intensity and scale of those committed by Government forces and affiliated militia.”

At the same time it says:

“Anti-Government armed groups have committed war crimes, including murder, sentencing and execution without due process, torture, hostage-taking and pillage.”

“They continue to endanger the civilian population by positioning military objectives in civilian areas.” Government soldiers and noncombatant civilians were executed in cold blood “without due process.”

Gruesome videos revealed brutal anti-Assad atrocities. Western media largely ignore them. Big Lies substitute. Syrian forces are blamed for insurgent crimes.

Pinheiro suggests Assad’s forces target internally displaced Syrians. Chemical weapons have been used by both sides, he said. Assad bears most responsibility, he claims.

COI’s report cites four attacks. They include March 19 on Khan Al-Asal, Aleppo, March 19 on Uteibah, Damascus, April 13 on Aleppo’s Sheikh Maqsood’s neighborhood, and April 29 on Saraqib, Idlib.

“There are reasonable grounds to believe that limited quantities of toxic chemicals were used” in these incidents, said COI.

Precise chemical agents used, their delivery systems or perpetrators aren’t clear, it said. Other incidents remain under investigation.

No evidence whatever links Syrian forces to toxic chemical attacks. Plenty shows insurgents used them. In late May, Turkish forces arrested 12 suspected Al Nusra fighters.

They were seized in southern Turkey. They were caught red-handed with a two gm cylinder of sarin nerve gas.

Initial Turkish media reports said four and a half pounds of sarin were seized. US media scoundrels said nothing. They largely support aggressive war on Syria.

Along with sarin, Turkish police found handguns, grenades, bullets and various documents. A planned Al-Nusra bomb attack in Adana was foiled. Many Alawites live there. They’re Assad loyalists.

On May 5, COI said testimonial evidence indicates “rebel forces” used sarin. A day later, it suggested “no conclusive findings.”

Other reports confirmed anti-Assad elements using chemical weapons. Syrian forces confiscated two cylinders of sarin used by insurgents in Hama.

It bears repeating. No evidence whatever shows Syria’s military or other pro-government elements used sarin or other toxic agents.

False reports claim otherwise. French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius accused Assad of using them. He did so based on alleged tests France conducted. Results were sent to the UN, he said.

On June 5, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) headlined “Syria: UNHCR Committee Insists on Exaggeration, Ignores Crucial Events,” saying:

Syria’s permanent HCR representative Fayssal al-Hamwi addressed the body. He accused it of premeditated exaggerations. It paid little attention to vital information too important to ignore.

“In spite of our warnings against using sectarian expressions,” he said, “basically rejected by the Syrian society, the committee used such terms and ignored in its conclusions and recommendations the causes of deteriorating the social and economic situation, including the unjust unilateral sanctions imposed by some Arab and western countries on the Syrian people.”

Russia’s permanent Geneva-based UN representative Alexei Borodavkin said COI’s report stopped short of “honest positions.”

It downplayed or ignored insurgent “terrorist acts.” It omitted explaining the harmful effects of unilateral economic sanctions. It’s “politically biased.”

False anti-Assad accusations persist. Repeatedly he’s been accused of foreign death squad atrocities. Eye witnesses point fingers the right way. Western media ignore them.

Recent White House and State Department comments suggest Obama appears heading for full-scale intervention.

With marines, other US forces and heavy weapons on Syria’s border, anything may happen any time. If Libya 2.0 is launched, expect Israel to be involved. Israeli air attacks may initiate it.

SHHHH! Don’t Even TALK About Guns at School!

Friday, June 7th, 2013

shhh-220x220

 by

Just when you think liberals can’t make themselves look more ridiculous, they manage it. It’s unbelievable.

You’ll recall the young children who have been suspended from school for having a toy gun (one slightly larger than a quarter), or one kid who carved his pop-tart into what someone thought looked like a gun? You’ll also undoubtedly recall the high school students who had forgotten they had guns in their cars on campus and all hell broke lose on their heads? Hey, how about the kid who simply pointed at another kid and someone thought that looked like a gun too? Neat, huh?

Well, not to be outdone, “The father of a middle schooler in Calvert County, Md. says his 11-year-old son was suspended for 10 days for merely talking about guns on the bus ride home.” Apparently, the sixth grader was talking to some friends on the bus about the Sandy Hook massacre when the bus driver decided he needed to chat with the school principal, Darrel Prioleau, so “the bus driver hauled him back to school to be questioned by the principal, Darrel Prioleau.” Isn’t that kidnapping?

According to the dad of the student, the principal has decided that if anyone uses the word “gun” at the school, that student will be suspended for ten days. What was so bad that this boy said using the word “gun”?  Wanna hear it? Here it goes

“I wish I had a gun to protect everyone. He wanted to defeat the bad guys. That’s the context of what he said,” Henkelman said. ‘He wanted to be the hero’.”

The sixth grade boy was thinking that if that same thing happened at his school, he would like to be in a position to take out the bad guy(s). Well dang it, string him up! Who in tarnation does that young boy think he is, The Rifleman for goodness sakes?

The boy was questioned not only by the principal but also the sheriff, who then asked the boy if there were guns in his house. The sheriff determined that he would need to search the boy’s home to find guns. Isn’t that illegal?

The 10-day suspension was later reduced to one day and even the ACLU said the suspension was a “poor choice” by the administrator. Ya think? Sonya Kumar, an ACLU attorney stated, “It’s appropriate for school officials to investigate when there is a concern about student safety. But based on what’s been described to us, once the school official concluded that all the young man wanted to do was to be safe at school and that he posed no risk to anyone, the suspension was really inappropriate.”

But see, intelligent people are expecting stupid people to think intelligently. In this case, it is clear (if the testimony is true) that the boy intended no harm to anyone.  He did not have a gun (even a toy one) and was not bragging about guns. He expressed concern about the Sandy Hook massacre and what he would have liked to have been able to have done had he been there. Pipedream? Sure. Harmful intent? No.

But he used the word “gun” and the bus driver only heard that word. Didn’t matter what the context was either. The boy had used the word “gun” and that’s all the bus driver needed to hear. The principal only needed to hear the word “gun” too and things happened. The boy was suspended.

Again, why wasn’t the parent(s) of this young boy brought into the meeting when the boy was interrogated by principal and law enforcement? Isn’t that illegal? Oh, but we’ve learned what the left thinks of legal and illegal, haven’t we?

This is getting absolutely ridiculous the way the left is trampling all over our rights without concern either. They do so under the guise of “safety” but it is really nothing more than political correctness. Because they say they are concerned about the safety for all people, they believe that gives them the right to run roughshod over people’s rights. It doesn’t. Lawsuits are in order. Parents need to start suing and then maybe these wayward administrators will start growing brains. Though why do I think that’s asking too much? Maybe it’s because I worked as a teacher in the public school system in California for over ten years. My wife did so for over 20. Believe me when I say, good, intelligent, logically reasoning administrators are really hard to find. Often they come from the ranks of teachers who were crappy at best. They are kicked upstairs and put in charge of schools and they are as inept in that position as they were in the classroom.

Situations like this simply prove that people on the left really do not have the ability to use logic to muscle their way through a situation. The word “gun” causes them to panic. Really.

“Hi Bill, can you hand me that staple GUN please?”

“Sandy, did you want to use this glue GUN for that project?”

“Kenisha, I’m done with this grease GUN, so feel free to use it.”

“Hey Tom, bought a new nail GUN. Should work well for the job at hand!”

What was the young boy’s context in this situation? He was not inciting trouble. He was not threatening to do harm to anyone. He was simply talking about a tragic situation where guns were involved and used the word “gun” himself. But the thought and speech police on the left don’t want to hear that word. Gun. Gun. Gun. Gun. GUN. GUN. GUN. GUN!

You know what? Guns do not have minds of their own. They are inanimate objects that can be used to save lives or take lives. It all depends on how an individual chooses to use a gun.

The idea that simply talking about a gun or playing with a toy gun creates tragedies in society is asinine. Meanwhile, people seem to forget just how many action movies that are constantly pumped out where the “good” guy uses many guns against the “bad” guys. Guns, guns, guns. Hollywood has created a society filled with violent images, but the left says, “Shhh, don’t even talk about guns at school!”

People are free in the United States. Their speech is protected by the 1st Amendment. Maybe more parents should remove their kids from these indoctrination factories so that they can thoroughly enjoy the freedoms guaranteed to us under the Constitution and Bill of Rights. If I had young children right now, that’s exactly what I would be doing.

Israel as described by US Special Forces officer Joe Cortina

Thursday, June 6th, 2013

My name is Joe Cortina. I am a retired Florida businessman who has done substantial world traveling – some purely as a ‘tourist’ and some in areas – shall I say- ‘nothing to do with vacationing’. I am a former special operations officer and have done intelligence investigator work for over 15years – some of it overseas – mostly in Central America – but also in the Mid-East. My political posture is ‘conservative’ and my religious values are Christian.

Exposing lies and revealing the truth was what I did professionally for a long time.

I have hunted REAL terrorists in jungles with Salvadorian Rangers and Marines – so I am not a stranger to dangerous environments and am familiar with basic protocols of civilized conduct regarding civilians and the military – something that the Israelis do not consider applicable to them.  For anyone wishing to challenge my credibility – I am willing to show credentials. I have a flawless civic record, an honorable military record and have never committed a crime nor ever been accused of such.

I am mentioned as my father’s son in the registry – ‘PIONEER FLORIDA’. My grandfather was a pioneer in Florida in the most literal sense, and my father was a respected businessman and foreign diplomat.I was invited to Israel by a former military comrade who attained a substantial rank and subsequently ended up as the ranking military attache’ from our govt., to the Israeli military (IDF). I went places and saw things only a hand full of ‘private sector’ Americans will EVER experience. My ‘specially authorized’ trips included Gaza City, Hebron and areas of militarily protected Israeli ‘settlements’. I will touch on only a few of what I considered the most revealing experiences. I can’t stress this enough. What I write here is but a tear in a sea of misery that I witnessed.

The covert op to destroy the word “freedom”

Thursday, June 6th, 2013

Unknown

These days, “freedom” mainly refers to fairy-tale mass movements.

We’re supposed to believe it happens this way: A bunch of students sitting in a cafe suddenly go to their cell phones, pop over to Facebook, and say, “Hey, wanna be free?” And a Republic is born. Poof.

The evil dictator grabs a suitcase full of gold bars, wires half a billion dollars from the State treasury to his private account, makes a dash for the airport, and flees to Paris.

In the other popular version, rugged freedom fighters emerge from the forest with copies of John Locke tucked in their luggage, storm the capitol, engage the national police, and after a prolonged battle, pin a copy of the Bill of Rights on the dictator’s riddled corpse.

Or something like that.

But even in the preposterous fairy tales, nothing much is said about freedom of the individual. No, it’s all about the right to vote for a new candidate. Free elections. Democracy.

In other words, the people can now select a president who is sold out to the same people who backed the dictator. Maybe a slightly different group of bankers gets into the act.

The independent individual? Never heard of him. No such thing.

What’s important is the president of a country like America, thousands of miles away, can stand up on his hind legs and say, “We support freedom around the world.”

When you stop and think about it, this bait and switch works because of the impact the word FREEDOM has on the minds of the population.

Say it and they stand up and salute. It doesn’t matter how far the word is being twisted. As long as the people like it and respond to it, you could be referring to a mass slaughter.

And if, by chance, the people don’t like a mass movement that trumpets freedom, because they recognize a deception, the media will call it freedom 24/7 anyway, because they’re paid to.

Political leaders who preach and teach about the need for “mass freedom movements” are never part of those groups. That tells you how deep the public trance can go. Relatively few people say, “Look, the president isn’t with the group. He’s separate. So how can he tell us what to think, what to do?”

It’s like a 400-pound man making diet recommendations.

Next, we have the mixing and churning of the words “freedom” and “rights.”

“I have the right to freebies. If I get them, I’m free. That’s what freedom means.”

Or: “I have freedom, which means rights, and I have the right to get freebies.”

These are actual modern definitions of freedom. Many people understand freedom in these terms and only these terms.

Here’s an example: people in poor countries have a right to food; they have a right to eat, not to starve; how can you be free if you’re starving?

That is very convincing to those who can’t think their way out of a wet paper bag.

A correct analysis would go this way: people in Uganda are starving. They have no right to food. This isn’t about food aid to Uganda. That isn’t a right, and it doesn’t solve the problem. People in Uganda have a right to fertile land, because it was stolen from them by their government and by mega-corporations and bankers. The theft was a crime. If we focus on the right to eat, then we end up supporting food aid from the outside as the big solution, and this plays directly into the hands of the thieves who stole the land. The thieves keep the land. The people of Uganda get a handout. And nothing is solved.

But that’s too on-target. It exposes the criminals. Therefore, these criminals relentlessly promote food aid as the altruistic thing to do, because it will keep them hidden and in control.

Mega-criminals twist the meaning of freedom to suit their purposes, and they succeed because they appear to be humanitarians. They are humanitarians in the same way that Stalin was a generous loving papa.

Potentially, there is a real Bill of Rights waiting for the people of Uganda. But they will have to make it happen. And that battle, that revolution will make the degree of difficulty of the American Revolution look like a Sunday picnic on the Charles River.

Should the US government assist the people of Uganda in a true revolution for true freedom? That’s asking a psychopath (the US government) to change its basic mindset because it’s the right thing to do.

Finally, we have this twist. Freedom doesn’t exist at all. If it did, it would only pertain to the individual, and since The Individual is a mythical construct with no meaning, freedom is also a myth.

“This is a breakthrough in understanding,” say many academics. “Based on this discovery, we can realize our destiny by equally sharing everything with everybody.”

Never mind the massive non-logic in that assessment. It’s not an attempt at reasoning. It’s propaganda disguised as advanced insight.

Who will decide who “everybody” is? Who will decide precisely what “equally sharing” means? Who will decide what “everything” amounts to? Who will run the show? Somebody has to.

The answers and the commands aren’t going to drop down from the sky.

Of the last few presidents, you could argue about which one most extensively strangled the original meaning of freedom. I’d pick Obama in that contest. Bush and Clinton are right up there. Obama voices more lofty pretensions (while acting as Monsanto’s man in Washington and taking on the role of Dr. Drone-Strike).

Elite players far higher on the food chain than American presidents have made their choice. They believe freedom doesn’t exist, except for themselves. To them, the masses are wild animals who merely act out their impulses. Leaders who can substitute new mind programming for old programming must act decisively and make satisfied androids out of the animals.

Meanwhile, to quote from a recent article of mine:

The independent individual who is an artist of reality sees one genuine emotion after another parlayed into flashes of cheap sentiment.

He doesn’t surrender.

The artist is able to spot the Collective. He opposes it.

This opposition can’t be settled and resolved with some absurd “rainbow philosophy” that pretends to include everybody. It can’t be dismissed or merged in a melting lump of happy-happy cosmic cheese.

Those pseudo-philosophers who speak about consciousness as if it were one all-embracing ocean, within which we are merely tiny and ineffectual drops of water, have already developed a convenient amnesia about the artist.

Down through time, in the face of every system devised by the priest-class and the issuers of money, the artist has said no.

He has asserted his power.

This is the natural mantle worn by the person who invents, imagines, improvises, creates: power.

The artist not only sees, with great clarity, the brain-dead gatherings of Collectives; he not only sees how they are built; he not only sees how they import and twist the highest ideals to flesh out their slave-programs and objectives; he not only rejects all this; he creates something entirely different.

The artist proliferates. He doesn’t reduce.

The artist isn’t looking for the “one thing” that will unite us all under a banner of harmony. He knows all such harmonies produce mass hypnosis.

The artist rebels. In rebelling, he reveals the uniqueness of the individual. He doesn’t pay lip service to this uniqueness. He demonstrates it.

Whether in art, science, philosophy, healing, or any other field of human endeavor, the person who lives by and through imagination creates new realities. As the artist, he challenges the status quo on every level.

Humanity on this planet has been undergoing a transformation into one ten-billion-member cult. You can find its leaders just by listening to their voices and their sentiments. They all come from the same manual.

Today, we have “the Global outlook.” This is the silky cover for drawing in populations to a perverse dream of unity for all.

“We will harmonize the world.”

This is exactly the kind of program the artist has always rejected.

The artist says: there are are an infinity of worlds.

When that message is lost, we lose what we are and enter into amnesia.

The Perfect Homestead

Tuesday, June 4th, 2013

iStock_000000079559XSmall

There are as many different descriptions of the “perfect homestead” as there are different folks who will be living on those homesteads.

For some people, it might be a cabin in the woods, with ample opportunities for hunting and fishing, and a clear area near the house for a large garden.  For others, it might be a big farmhouse on a prairie, with fields as far as the eye can see. For still others, the perfect homestead might consist of varied terrain for pasture, garden, and natural barriers to provide inaccessibility to others.

Part of what makes a homestead perfect boils down to personal preferences and what you plan on doing with it.  The answers to questions like the following are unique to the individual:

  • Do I prefer hot weather, cold weather, or a moderate climate?
  • Do I plan to grow crops or a garden? If so, what kind?
  • Do I plan to raise livestock?  Again, what kind?
  • Do I want a home that is already built or will I be building my own?
  • What kind of alternative power do I intend to use?
  • What is my fitness level?  Am I able to climb up and down hills all day?

You have to understand yourself, your capabilities, and your limitations in order to properly make these decisions.

Some things are black and white, though.  Carefully investigate the following five criteria.  These are non-negotiable aspects of the perfect homestead.

Natural resources

It’s important that the land you select has abundant natural resources to support you in the event of a long term disaster. If public utilities are inoperable for any reason, you will have to provide heat, water, energy, and food for yourself. It’s important to select property in an area that helps you to meet your needs.

Look for the following:

  • Water sources: springs, creeks, rivers, ponds or lakes
  • Alternatively, a deep abundant well or aquifer
  • Plentiful local sources of wood or coal
  • Plentiful wildlife and/or fish
  • Potential for alternative energy (sun, water, wind)

Agricultural Sustainability

Most of those relocating to a homestead intend to become as self-sufficient as possible and farming is a big part of their sustainability plans.  The goal of a homestead is to provide yourself with everything you need to survive.  Not only will you garden to grow food for your family, but you will grow food for your livestock too. In the event of a disaster, you won’t be able to count on a grocery store or feed store nearby.  When looking for the ideal farm, consider:

  • Sufficient year-round precipitation – click here to find rainfall maps for each state.
  • A long growing season - check out the USDA Plant Hardiness  Zone map here.
  • Rich topsoil – find the USDA Inherent Land Quality map here.
  • Adjacent properties use compatible farming methods.
  • No restrictions on keeping livestock.
  • No restrictions on agricultural use of land.

Compatible local government, laws, and culture

You will want to relocate to a place with more freedom, not less.  These are important qualities to look for:

  • Low taxes
  • Non-intrusive  local government
  • Favorable zoning and inexpensive building permits
  • A diverse economy and agriculture
  • Minimal gun laws
  • Local officials who are advocates of the constitution and gun ownership
  • Inexpensive insurance rates (home, auto, health)
  • A local lifestyle geared toward self-sufficiency

Low Risk for Natural or Industrial Disasters

No place is completely without risk.  But you can carefully research to avoid the following potential hazards and prepare accordingly.

  • No major earthquake, hurricane, or tornado risks
  • No flooding risk
  • No tidal-wave (at least two hundred feet above sea level)
  • Minimal forest-fire risk
  • Not close to chemical plants, landfills or toxic industries
  • Not close to nuclear reactors
  • Upwind from major nuclear-weapons targets

Defensibility

Finally, you want to minimize the risk from other people as well. In an extended emergency, those who are based in densely populated areas will migrate to rural areas looking for food, water and resources. Securing your land to keep squatters and migrants out will keep your family safer.  Select a property that offers these characteristics:

  • Geographic isolation from major population centers  -  Do you live near one of these major population centers?
  • Distance from interstate freeways and other channelized areas
  • Defendable terrain
  • Not near a prison or large mental institution
  • Natural barriers

If you’ve made the enormous decision to relocate and start a homestead, take the extra time to do it right. Do your research and find a piece of land that has the necessary qualities for you to be successful in your endeavor.

Professor calls for NRA members to be shot by firing squad for treason

Professor calls for NRA members to be shot by firing squad for treason

A professor in West Virginia provides yet another example of the inescapable reality that the real threat to America, beyond a complicit media, is likely to be found in college classrooms.

Christopher Swindell, journalism professor at Marshall University, is calling on National Rifle Association members to be shot before a firing squad.

In an op/ed published in the Charleston Gazette on Thursday, Swindell offered his version of the “final solution” for supporters of the Second Amendment, as Independent Journal Review’s Michael Miller characterized his vile rhetoric.

While passing himself off as “mainstream,” Swindell labels the NRA’s concerns as “knuckle-dragging Cretan talk” and accuses the organization of advocating for the overthrow of the U.S. government:

“Here it is. The NRA advocates armed rebellion against the duly elected government of the United States of America. That’s treason, and it’s worthy of the firing squad.

The professor adds that James W. Porter, Jr., the new NRA president, whom he referred to as “a white, rich old man,” has an agenda to arm the populace for confrontation and to drive his point home, he pulls the race card:

“We put the president in the White House. To support the new NRA president’s agenda of arming the populace for confrontation with the government is bloody treason. And many invite it gladly as if the African-American president we voted for is somehow infringing on their Constitutional rights.”

After calling himself as a “peacable man,” Swindell suggested “to turn the song lyric they so love to quote back on them, “We’ll put a boot in your —, it’s the American way.”

“Except it won’t be a boot,” he writes. “It’ll be an M1A Abrams tank, supported by an F22 Raptor squadron with Hellfire missiles. Try treason on for size. See how that suits. And their assault arsenal and RPGs won’t do them any good.”

That the Charleston Gazette would even publish such inflammatory vitriol is irresponsible in the least, but far more egregious is that this man is teaching the youth of America. God help us.

White House Freaks Out Over Online Petition To Charge Sen. Feinstein With Treason Reaching 50,000 Votes

Monday, June 3rd, 2013

Dianne-Feinstein-Gun-Ban-2013

A petition to charge Dianne Feinstein with treason that has gotten nearly 50,000 signatures is causing a bit of heartburn in Obama’s White House forcing team Obama to come to Di Fi’s defense.

One of the somewhat silly things that team Obama did when it came to office was to set up a website where Americans could float petitions filled with ideas and issues that they want Obama to address. Now, in theory this idea sounds great. But in practice, Obama just ignores all these things. But they do offer an interesting story from time to time.

A recent petition offers one of those stories. It is the petition to charge California Senator Dianne Feinstein with treason for her constant attacks on the U.S. Constitution, the Second Amendment in particular.

The strength of the petition has caused Obama to come to Feinstein’s defense. Ah, schadenfreude.

The anti-DiFi petition was created in December of last year and only five months later it had gained nearly 50,000 signatures. The fifty thousand mark is where Obama’s perpetual political campaign/White House staff have said that they will publicly address an issue directly.

The Petition

Here is the text of the petition:

Try Senator Dianne Feinstein in a Federal Court For Treason To The Constitution
The Constitution was written to restrain the government. No amendment is more important for this purpose than the 2nd amendment. The 2nd amendment was written so the power could be kept with the citizenry in the face of a tyrannical government. It was well understood the Constitution acknowledged certain rights that could not be limited by government.

Senator Dianne Feinstein has made it clear she does not believe in the Constitution or the inalienable rights of Americans to keep and bear arms. She is actively working to destroy the 2nd amendment with her 2013 assault weapons ban. For this reason we the people of the united States petition for her to be tried in Federal Court for treason to the Constitution.

By the end of May the petition had 41,162 signatures. If you want to sign, see the petition HERE.

We all know how Feinstein hates guns, of course. Remember this

Anyway, even though the petition has not quite hit the 50 Thou mark, team Obama felt compelled to answer to DiFi’s critics.

Here is what the White House said to petitioners:

Where We Agree and Where We Don’t

We don’t believe that Senator Dianne Feinstein should be punished for championing legislation. In fact, we’re going to continue to work with her and other likeminded Members of Congress to put in place commonsense reforms to reduce gun violence.

But we’re willing to have a reasonable debate about the steps we should take to make the country safer for our kids.

And it actually seems like we’re starting from a place of common agreement: Like many of you, President Obama believes that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to bear arms.

That’s never been in question with this discussion. What we’ve proposed are steps within the framework of that constitutional right to protect our communities from shootings and violence. If you want to see the specifics of our plan, you should visit WhiteHouse.gov/NowIsTheTime.

Now generally, it’s up to our courts to resolve matters of constitutionality. But no less an authority than Justice Antonin Scalia has written, “Like most rights, the Second Amendment right is not unlimited. It is not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose” — so we’re pretty confident that we’re on solid ground when we say we support Senator Feinstein’s legislation to that effect.

We also believe that there’s room for a civil discourse on matters of public policy — where we don’t try to silence our political opponents just because we disagree with them. In America, all of us, even those with whom you disagree, have the right to help to set our nation’s course.

Which is exactly why we created the We the People platform. Even if you disagree with everything you just read, we want you to walk away from this process with knowledge that we’re doing our best to listen — even to our harshest critics.

Apparently the White House feels that insulting our intelligence by claiming that Obama respects the Second Amendment and the U.S. Constitution is the way to go, eh?

But, Obama is just as bad a liar and demagogue about guns as DiFi, so it shouldn’t be surprising that he is running to her support.

It is also a bit disingenuous to claim that DiFi is just doing her duty as a lawmaker, too. She tried this failed gun ban business back in 1995 and dozens of times since. With as many times as she’s tried and failed to get the Second Amendment nullified with un-Constitutional federal laws one would think that her lawless agenda would be pretty clear by now.

But, maybe I’m wrong? Is Dianne Feinstein just doing her duty? You tell me below.

Why there were no ‘actors’ at the Boston Marathon bombings

Monday, June 3rd, 2013

Boston_Marathon_Bombing_US_fla

The idea that many ‘terrorist’ attacks are in fact carried out by government intelligence agencies is not a new concept (we here at Sott.net have spent the last ten years attempting to highlight the evidence for government complicity in ‘Islamic terrorism’ for one example). What is new is the idea that these government-inspired or perpetrated terrorist attacks are somehow doubly “fake” in the sense that some or all of the details of the attack didn’t actually happen in any real sense. The idea is that, not only was the attack fake in the sense that government, not ‘Muslim terrorists’ or ‘homegrown terrorists’, were responsible, but that the apparent victims were fake also, their roles, where necessary, being portrayed by ‘actors’, presumably working for the government. The claim that ‘crisis actors’ were used in place of real victims has been made about the December 2012 Sandy Hook shootings, the more recent Boston marathon bombings and even the May 22nd knife attack on a British soldier in London.

To clarify, the idea of ‘actors’ as it is being used in this context is not the same as ‘media plants’. Media plants are people placed at the scene of a government false-flag terror attack who pose as ‘eyewitnesses’ to establish an official narrative for the media and public. ‘Actors’, on the other hand, are people who are supposedly part of the false-flag attack itself and who pose as victims of the attack but who are not really injured at all.

The Sandy Hook massacre last December seems to have been the the first major event where the ‘actors’ idea gained traction. Within a month of the massacre, there were literally hundreds of Youtube videos and articles supposedly providing proof that the parents and neighbors of the victims were actually crisis actors and, therefore, the entire event was probably staged and no one was killed. The ‘hoax’ was, it is claimed, a crass and obvious attempt by the government to impose ‘gun control’ on America.

Many of the Sandy Hook hoax videos have received tens, and sometimes hundreds of thousands of views. I wrote about the implausibility of that particular ‘actors’ theory here and tried to compile the best evidence for Sandy Hook being a US intel ‘black’ operation here and here. Despite my efforts, (not that I ever expect them to make much difference) the ‘terror attack actors’ idea continued to gain pace and made a serious reappearance at the Boston Marathon bombings.

The main ‘evidence’ for ‘actors’ at the Boston marathon bombings centered around one of the victims, Jeff Bauman. Bauman is the guy whose picture was sensationally splashed across media newspapers and websites as he was taken from the scene of the bombing in a wheelchair with the bone of one of his severed legs protruding.

I’m pretty sure half the planet saw that particular image.

Proponents of the ‘actors’ theory seized on this image as hard evidence that ‘fakery’ was afoot. After all, where was all the blood that surely should have been spurting from his leg? Even in the immediate aftermath of the bomb, it is claimed, pictures of the scene are devoid of any significant amounts of blood and certainly no spurting from Bauman’s leg(s).

Disbelievers also pointed to the color of what blood there was on the ground, citing it as evidence that obviously fake or ‘stage’ blood because it was just too bright to be real. Some pundits even pointed out that there were different colors of blood from one image to the next!

And what about those people around Bauman? One guy seems to be putting on his sunglasses just seconds after the bombing!

Surely all of these details constitute ‘slam dunk’ evidence that the Boston bombings were faked in the sense that ‘crisis actors’ were used, at least as part of the operation?

The problem with this theory is that it has no legs, so to speak. It seems that not one of the advocates of the ‘actors’ theory bothered to think about the implications of their claims. If they had, they would have been quickly confronted with some rather implausible conclusions.

For example, if Jeff Bauman was, as is claimed, an ‘actor’ who was already an amputee and was fitted with the bony prosthetics immediately after the bombing, how do we explain that none of his family or friends have spoken up and pointed out that Jeff couldn’t have lost his legs in the bombing because he lost them several months or years ago?

Jeff has been widely feted in the media in the months since the bombing, and made a surprise appearance before the Boston Bruins ice hockey game in early May. A few days ago Jeff threw the first pitch at Red Sox game.

Jeff Bauman at a recent Red Sox game

Surely someone who knew him as a prior double amputee would have said something? Then again, maybe his entire family and friends are intelligence operatives too and in on the plot? Maybe Jeff was a ‘deep cover’ intelligence operative with no public history before the bombings and all of the google images of him (many with legs I would add) that appear to go back several years were planted on google in the run up to his prime time exposure in Boston? Or maybe all of his family and friends were somehow silenced or ‘paid off’?

Bauman seems to have been associated with ‘Team Stork‘ which appears to be a marathon running team made up of members of the Brigham and Women’s hospital, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School that is located in Boston. Here’s an image of him with some Team Stork members.

Jeff Bauman with ‘Team Stork’ members

From what I can gather, Bauman’s girlfriend may have been running in the race as part of ‘Team Stork’, and she may have been a student nurse at the aforementioned hospital. Alternatively, she and Bauman may simply have been friends with Team Stork runners. In the image below of the scene immediately following the first explosion, the woman in the foreground is wearing a shirt with the blue ‘Team Stork’ logo on it. She may have been with Bauman as they waiting were for team members to cross the finish line.

Bloody Actors

The above image shows quite a lot of blood on the ground. As noted, many ‘actors’ theorists have claimed that this blood is “too red” to be real, despite the fact that there are at least two shades of red blood on the ground. A little research into blood color would quickly have informed such theorists that oxygenated blood is bright red, while deoxygenated blood is a dark (or darker) red color. I would have thought that most people would have at some point in their lives had experience with the color of blood, if only their own, in terms of a small cut. Doesn’t everyone know that fresh blood from your finger can be a bright red color and dried coagulated blood is dark red, almost black? In fact, depending on where and when you cut yourself, your blood can be a brighter or a darker shade of red (see the aforementioned oxygenated or deoxygenated blood comment).

Not enough blood? Wrong color?

What about this one? Actors? Stage blood?

Severed Arteries, Spurting and Instant Death

Then there is the image of Bauman himself and his protruding femur. ‘Actors’ theorists were quick to point to the ‘evidence’ that there is very little blood on Jeff’s leg, either in the images immediately after the bomb went off and also when he was being wheeled away from the scene in a wheelchair. I’ve spoken to several practicing doctors, all of whom have experience of serious trauma victims. Not one of them were surprised that there was not a large amount of blood squirting from Bauman’s wounds. What most of them did say was that they had been surprised at the lack of blood when they first encountered trauma victims early in their careers, but that they were quickly able to understand it based on their prior knowledge of human anatomy, and that since then, they’re never surprised at a lack of blood loss in trauma patients.

In Bauman’s case, the ‘actors’ theorists claim was that, since his femoral artery was “severed”, there should have been massive blood loss and he should not have survived. The problem here is again one of a lack of cursory research by those promoting the theory.

The femoral artery runs inside the thigh from the pelvis down to above the knee. The now infamous picture of Bauman in the wheelchair shows pretty clearly that both of his knees are intact and that his major injuries are below the knee. Therefore, it is not true to say that his femoral artery was severed.

Even in the case that his femoral artery had been severed, arteries are sphincteral, that is to say, they spasm and contract when severed. This appears to be a natural life-preserving function of the body to prevent blood loss. When arteries are compromised, coagulation factors are also released that facilitate the formation of thrombi which minimize blood loss. Just like the formation of a scab over a wound. It is such an effective system that blood thinner drugs are often given to prevent the formation of these thrombi during surgery on an artery.

There are other arteries in the lower leg (the anterior and posterior tibial arteries) but these are not major arteries and if severed, as in Bauman’s case, would very likely have spasmed resulting in a fairly quick reduction in blood loss. In addition, the man in the cowboy hat (Carlos Arredondo) had tied a tourniquet to his mid-thigh area, further restricting blood loss. (By the way, the reason Bauman was evacuated in a wheelchair was because there are usually many wheelchairs at the finish line of races for people who really shouldn’t be running marathons to sit down in, before they collapse).

The Implausibility of Crisis Actors at a Real Bombing

The following images were taken by a person in an office on the first floor of a building directly behind where the first bomb went off. Two photos appear to have been taken every second (the person probably just held down the shutter release button). You can see the full sequence here. These photos, along with a video of the bomb exploding (see below), provide fairly conclusive proof that Jeff Bauman was at more or less ‘ground zero’ of the explosion, and that a bomb really did go off.

The first image below shows the scene immediately after the bomb went off. Bauman and a few other people are in the center surrounded by a cloud of smoke. As the smoke clears in the subsequent images, you can see Bauman lying on the ground with his back to the camera. There is a man with a black and grey hooded top (the hood is grey) right in front of Bauman. This is ‘sunglasses man’.

Turkey Stakes Claim In “The Free State” With West’s Largest Mosque

Sunday, June 2nd, 2013
xTurkishMosqueMarylandIP.png.pagespeed.ic_.qSPrf8fSdI
Mega-mosque complex in Langham Maryland

by

Just a couple of weeks ago Barack Obama welcomed Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the White House, who also brought along the father of one of the Islamic jihadists who was killed in a raid on a Gaza flotilla in 2010.

The Turkish Prime Minister is known for pushing for Islamic jihad with his statement, “The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers.” Upon his visit to the states, he went to Lanham, Maryland to visit the 15-acre site of a $100 million meg-mosque called the Turkish American Culture and Civilization Center, which according to Muslim Link, “will likely become the largest and most striking examples of Islamic architecture in the western hemisphere” when it is finished in 2014.

The Founders are rolling over in their graves right now. Maryland, the state that claims to be “The Free State” has recently has sweeping gun control measures placed upon its citizens through tyrannical means and now will welcome in the enemy to America and Christianity, Islam with the western Hemisphere’s largest Islamic mosque. Does anyone else see sharia law taking root in Maryland next?

Upon Erdogan’s visit to the site, Maryland decided to have one of its representatives there as well, Secretary of State John McDonough.

The Clarion Project reports,

On May 15, Prime Minister Erdogan spoke to hundreds of people at the construction site and said he’d come back for the opening ceremony next year. He warned the audience that there are groups promoting “Islamophobia,” branding potential critics as paranoid bigots. Erdogan recently said that “Islamophobia” and Zionism are equivalent to fascism and anti-Semitism, saying they are a “crime against humanity.”

On this trip to the U.S., Erdogan brought the father of one of the Islamists killed while on a Turkish flotilla which was trying to break Israel’s weapons blockade on Gaza. Gaza is controlled by Hamas, which is a designated terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department. Erdogan reportedly wanted to him to meet President Obama. (In the end, the father met with Secretary of State John Kerry.)

The leaders of two U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entities in attendance included Naeem Baig, is the president of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). A 1991 U.S. Muslim Brotherhood memo lists ICNA as one of “our organizations and the organizations of our friends.” The memo says its “work in America is “a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.” The memo even refers to meetings with ICNA where there was talk about a merger.

Interestingly enough the ICNA is linked to the Pakistanit Islamic group Jamaat-e-Islami which hosts jihadists at it conferences.

The second Muslim Brotherhood entity at the event was Mohamed Magid, the president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA).

Remember how we told you they were openly supporting attacks on the Second Amendment? They’ve already been doing it in Maryland. Now they are celebrating with this mosque. Maryland, your children are next for indoctrination.

ISNA is listed as a Muslim Brotherhood front group in the same 1991 Muslim Brotherhood memo. The organization is also listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case.

The Clarion Project also has described the “growing ties between the Turkish government and Native American tribes. With Congress’ help, thousands of Turkish contractors and their families may be flooding into America’s heartland and settling in semi-autonomous zones of the Native Americans, well out of the reach of American authorities.”

This is what many in our country do not understand today. They do not understand how the alleged “peaceful” Muslims are working on stealth jihad, using willing accomplices that they claim to agree with on certain issues to advance their Ummah, or Islamic state. Additionally, this is why Islamists will not raise their voices against terrorist attacks. It’s not because they are scared. It’s because jihad take place on a variety of levels. Beware of those who come to you telling you Islam is a religion of peace. It is anything but, and its history is filled with the bloody reality.

150 million Americans go to Mexico, swim back, become instant millionaires

Saturday, June 1st, 2013

Unknown

FOX News: “Illegal immigrant mother of seven given food stamps, meds, housing, and Social Security—for 20 years.”

Bob and Sally Craft have written a book. Overnight, it’s leaped to the top of the New York Times best-seller list:The Key to Wealth: Swimming Lessons.

In 2012, Bob and Sally, who were living in Toledo, made a bold move. They hitchhiked to Texas, crossed the border into Mexico, swam back across the Rio Grande, and applied for federal benefits.

“Little did we know how rich we’d become,” Sally said. “Our government counselor told us we were suddenly eligible for $700 a month and free housing. For the rest of our lives.”

But that was just the beginning of the story.

Bob, who was an out-of-work accountant, after serving two years in prison on a fraud charge, “ran some numbers.”

“You see,” Bob said, “sitting there across from our federal-aid counselor, still dripping wet from our swim back into the US, I realized she was talking about giving Sally and me roughly five million dollars over the course of our lives.”

Bob proposed an alternative payout plan.

Francine Baggit, their counselor, was amazed as she listened. “Bob explained that if we paid them the whole sum at once, they could invest it. I personally wrote a letter to the president, and two weeks later I almost fell off my chair when he called me at home.”

The president, through Press Secretary Ray Blarney, released an historic statement yesterday. “We now can assure help to those who need it,” Blarney said. “Essentially, welfare can be moved over into a new system. Lifetime pay-outs in one lump sum. Investment accounts.”

This triggered a mass exodus, temporary to be sure, from the US into Mexico. At last count, the Department of Homeland Security, who is supervising what they’re calling ‘Operation Red Sea,’ estimates that 150 million Americans are making their way to the Mexican border in Texas, California, Arizona, and New Mexico.

“We’re trying to keep this orderly,” stated Janet Neoconitan. “It’s turning into a full-time job. The swim and dash back into the US is fraught with logistical problems.”

According to CIA spokesman Frank Earnest, the unwritten agreement with the Mexican Sinaloa cartel “is being reworked on the fly.”

Earnest explained that 150 million Americans will certainly clog up the prescribed routes for importation of heroin and cocaine into the US.

“Up until now,” Earnest said, “Sinaloa and the US government had neatly marked out crossing points for drugs, and then clean paths for eighteen-wheelers into Los Angeles and Chicago. But we’re in a chaotic situation all of a sudden.”

One solution? The mayors of those two cities are suggesting that “well-qualified exiting American citizens” can be given vehicles loaded with drugs and then drive them back into the US through Chula Vista.

“It’s just a thought at this point,” stated Chicago Mayor Tom Godfather. “We’re being forced to improvise. We want to preserve our special relationship with Sinaloa, of course. After all, the kickbacks from drug profits help fund the whole federal welfare program. Minus the rake-off and the skim for politicians,” he added.

As the president watched drone coverage of the mass exodus in his office today, he remarked to several reporters from the Associated Press: “This is the kind of American initiative I’ve been talking about for five years. You boys give us plenty of play on this story and we’ll stop bugging some of your phones.”

One reporter replied, “Sir, I’ll be covering it in the trenches. My whole family is flying to Tijuana tonight. We’ll come back tomorrow and apply for federal aid.”

The president nodded. “I might be right there with you. I just wish I had more kids. The benefits apply across the board. No Ageism for this commander-in-chief.”

Meanwhile, Bob and Sally Craft are off on a book tour. These two millionaires are taking their new-found wealth in stride.

“For us,” Sally told Brian Williams, “it’s about helping others help themselves.”

Bob said, “There are sunny days and rainy days, Brian. You’ve got to manage your assets over the long haul. That’s what we’re doing, and that’s what we want for all Americans. My father, who was abusive in so many ways when we were growing up, nevertheless worked all his life as a wheelchair-ramp repairman. He slaved for a minimum wage. When I was nine, I vowed to do something about raising that minimum, and now Sally and I have.”

Williams replied, “I’m going to say the lights here in the studio are a little too bright, but really, the mistiness in my eyes is a result of something else. I think this whole nation is on an emotional edge tonight. It’s seeing the realization of a dream we never thought possible in our lifetimes.”

Scott Pelley, in an interview with Gamey Lyman, the CEO of Soldman Cracks JP Gorgon Mace, the famed Wall Street investment bank, asked this question: “Gamey, how do you think this new and startling financial revolution will affecting trading markets?”

Lyman answered, “Scott, look at it this way. Every American who travels to Mexico and comes back will be given an account worth five million dollars. Do the math. It’s a drop in the bucket, when you have the ability to concoct endless money directly out of Ben Bernanke’s ass. And by the way, my colleagues and I don’t want to take a back seat to anybody. The amount of cash we’ve been able to siphon out of the system over the last ten years would make your head swim.”

As the ABC evening newscast began, Diane Sawyer appeared on camera weeping uncontrollably. She kept it up in an unbroken stream for the entire hour. Finally, she said, in a voice trembling with emotion, “This is joy you’re seeing here, not sadness. All the sadness is gone.”

Oprah has just inked a new contract to return to CBS. “I had to,” she said. “I want all America to watch and hear the stories of people who ‘crossed over and came back.’ I’ll be talking to these families for the next ten years, revealing their heart wrenching histories and their triumphs.”

The president of Mexico has just made a nationally televised statement. “This is a great day for our country,” he said. “In the next six months, I expect Mexico to empty out. Everybody will be going to the US. Then, the fifteen families who own Mexico will be able to look around and actually see what they have. We’ll feel new hope. The nightmare is over.”

RAND Corporation spokesman, Saul Depop, spoke with reporters in Santa Monica, California tonight. “I expect by next week,” he said, “to see the creation of a federally run investment house. It’s a natural consequence of the new policy. People can take their five million dollars and put it directly into an IRS hedge fund. It’ll vastly increase tax revenues, and at the same time the government can assume a more overt role in managing booms, bubbles, and busts.”

In a related story, Phil and Connie James, an Oregon couple who just returned from their Mexico City vacation, told a reporter for their local paper they wouldn’t be applying for federal benefits.

“It sounds like a very nice package,” Mr. James said, “but we’re fine. We don’t need the money and we don’t make investments.”

Shortly after the paper ran their story, the James family was surrounded by a mob of angry residents who pelted them with eggs, stones, and marbles.

Mr. James and his two sons were transported to a local hospital. Mrs. James was unhurt. A doctor at the hospital emerged and made the following statement: “They’re okay after surgery. This is one of those situations, frankly, where you don’t want to give people care, but you have to. We take an oath to help, and we live up to it.”

Gregory Pinch, the president of the Disabled Persons of America United, a non-profit subsidiary of the World Disability League, held a press conference in a handicapped parking space in front of a Vons Supermarket in Los Angeles.

“We’re happy tonight,” he said. “But no one should think our work is over. We’re not suddenly extinct. This is just the beginning. There’s a long way to go. We demand full limb and organ replacement for every American over fifty. That remains our goal, and we’re not backing down an inch from it.”

NASA has just received what it states is the first clear non-human communication from space. Coming through Reuters and AP, the message reads: “There is and has been, for many eons, life on Mars. We are the Martians. We are coming, with translators. Ready your applications for federal aid. We have needs, and they must be met. After careful studies, our relocation preferences are Bel-Air, and Scarsdale.”

Henry Kissinger, reached at his underground home in Mordor, Virginia, spoke slowly into television cameras: “Why don’t we simply erase the US-Mexico border? Extend full benefits to everyone on both sides. It reduces traffic, and when environmentally necessary depopulation swings into high gear, the whole question of welfare will become moot.”

At the open today, the stock price of the Home Shopping Network jumped from 57 to 134. Bill Gates and Warren Buffett are meeting with Wal-Mart executives. Talks involve the injection of 30 billion dollars of new capital into store expansion. Reports indicate Wal-Mart is about to break ground on a new superstore that will cover 9000 acres in Montana.

The acreage will adjoin a gigantic housing development to be built for immigrants from Somali, the North Pole, Tierra del Fuego, London, and Toronto.

Monsanto has just announced the introduction of a wireless detection system that can calculate the quantity of GMO food any human in America consumes over the course of his/her lifetime.

“This is a cumulative and ongoing up-to-the-minute sum for each person,” a corporate press release indicated. “In conjunction with the federal government, for every kilo of GMO vegetable, grain, or flesh ingested, welfare benefits in the amount of eight thousand dollars will be added to that person’s investment account.”

General Morris Flathead Rigor, chairman of the joint chiefs, told Wolf Blitzer, “America is going to have an army of millionaires. I think it’s wonderful. We have to invade and destroy foreign populations. That’s our mandate. With very rich combat soldiers in the field, we’ll be much happier doing our work.”

Have a nice day.

We’re all in this together.

Go To Jail Kaitlyn Hunt

Thursday, May 30th, 2013

Yeah, right, I know, it’s just young love and the prosecutor is pressing charges because the kids are gay.

According to the Feb. 16 arrest affidavit, Hunt admitted to having sex in a school toilet stall with the 14-year-old, a freshman teammate on the Sebastian High School varsity girls basketball squad. Such sordid details don’t seem to matter to those who’ve bought into the “Free Kate” narrative of Hunt as an innocent victim of homophobia, being prosecuted for a “schoolgirl crush” or a “high-school romance.”

Sorry folks, this one is pretty clear.

It is a felony for any adult, which is defined as a person 18 years of age or older, to have sex with a person 15 or younger in Florida. Period.

The general age of consent in Florida (sleep with whoever you wish) is 18. The “special circumstances” age of consent is 16, with an age-gap provision (which is quite-wide, incidentally; a person can be up to 24 and have a 16 year old partner to remain legal within Florida.) The gender of the participants is not a factor; whether the sexual contact is gay or straight is immaterial.

The bottom line here is that statutory******laws exist for the reason that such encounters are often predatory along with the legal fact that the consequences of minors having sex wind up falling on the parents.

I have no quarrel with someone declaring themselves an adult, and my definition of doing so includes undertaking sexual acts. Why? Because such acts can and sometimes do lead to permanent changes in your life circumstance — including the creation of life for which you are then responsible, or your own permanent impairment or death (as a consequence of disease.)

But the law refuses to recognize this in the present tense; it used to be that 14 year olds would get together on a somewhat-regular basis and then the shotgun came out and said pair was marched to the nearest Priest and declared husband and wife before being sent on their way.

With actions come consequences.

As a parent of a teen daughter I have in the past made quite-clear my view on the fact that sex is an act that often has profound consequences on one’s life. When you’re ready to accept the consequences for good or bad, in full, on your own and without loading them on anyone else then you’re free to do what you believe is right. Right up until that point you don’t and to the extent that there is a lawful means to stop shifting those costs to others I will use them.

This of course made me immensely popular… NOT! smiley

A huge part of the problem we have in our nation today comes from the fact that we refuse to link action and consequence. That is, we allow “kids” to run around acting like adults, screwing anything that moves, and then foist off the cost of that conduct on their parents or society as a whole. The “solution” to a girl who “might” become sexually active is seen as birth control pills, which in fact increases the risk of contracting a potentially-fatal or debilitating disease because it decreases the odds of condom use, and at the same time sends the message that you can do things that would create life and your liability for that life without having the risk of doing so.

When you’re an adult you’re entitled to make those decisions on your own. When you’re a dependent you’re not, because the costs of your decisions are not yours –only the benefits – which is the very-legitimate argument for these sorts of laws standing alone.

Indeed it is the very definition of being a child that you are incapable of accepting the costs that come with your actions and insist that someone else bear those costs — for good or bad.

This is not about “gay vs. straight.”

It is about the allocation of risk and reward or cost and benefit.

The law in this case is clear and with good cause – the consequences across the board of this conduct on the part of the 15 year old inure to her parents.

In my view she is entitled to make that decision as soon as she is prepared to take all of the consequences thereof, good or bad.

The simple fact of the matter is that she’s neither prepared or able to do that.

Being gay is not a “get out of jail free” card for this offense despite the fact that two lesbians cannot produce inadvertent children. There is much more to sex than the risk of an unintended pregnancy whether people would like to admit it or not. After all, chemical means exist to mostly-eliminate the risk of accidental pregnancy (even though those come with potential costs too!)

Florida’s legal code is far from perfect in this regard but it is not gender biased. The simple fact of the matter is that irrespective of the other party’s age sex with a person under the age of 16 is unlawful in this state. It’s perfectly fine to disagree with that and work to change it, but this sort of “relationship” is exactly the sort that the law is intended to prohibit — a relationship where one of the parties is a legal adult, the other is not, there is a power imbalance for this reason alone and the costs of the conduct that may accrue to the younger partner will inure to someone else — in this case, her parents.

Cut the “gay rights” crap; this case has exactly nothing to do with the sexual preference of the participants.

It’s Not About Obama…

Thursday, May 30th, 2013

sad obama

In 1917, the Bolshevik Revolution gained general victory against the empire’s sovereign, Czar Nicholas Romanov II, a monarchal ruler widely considered despotic and inhumane in his treatment of the Russian citizenry.  After the dethroned Romanov family was summarily executed by former members of the military, the Bolshevik rampage continued against the remnants of the “White Russians”, culminating in a bloody civil war.  In the minds of the common populace, the communist propaganda was legitimate.  The people had been terribly oppressed, and the world war in Europe was draining any hope of prosperity they had left.  The Russians were ready for an abrupt and even violent change in their political leadership.

However, unbeknownst to them, a great upheaval was about to be supplied for them.  Their anger and rage, their revolutionary spirit, was about to be exploited to produce vast gains for international interests and create a massive experiment in collectivist tyranny that would span decades and claim millions of innocent lives.

That’s right, in case you’ve never read a real history book with concrete facts, the Russian revolution was an almost entirely fabricated event.  International financial interests, known today as “globalists” with no patriotic ties to any particular nation, supplied the funding, the philosophy, and even the leadership of the Bolshevik uprising against Nicholas II:

Now, does this mean I support the tyranny of czarism?  No.  Does this mean I support the despotic actions of the Romanov dynasty?  No.  My point is that an immoral government was used by globalists to rally the downtrodden people around an even more immoral and destructive government which the money men had full control over.  The elitists gauge the revolutionary fervor of a particular society, and, when they believe the time is ripe, they co-opt that revolution by installing their own leadership and creating their own events.

In my view, the American Revolution was a startling wake up call for the globalists.  The concept of centralized monarchy and godlike rulers was dead.  Common people were ready to fight for the right to participate in their own political systems, and as the American patriots proved, they could win.  The elites responded, cleverly, with events like the French Revolution.  They tested the waters for public discontent, then, manhandled revolutions into being when the moment was right.  If a revolt was about to occur, fine; as long as the globalists controlled the outcome, revolution could serve their interests.

This strategy is used even today.  One merely need examine the escalation of the so-called “Arab Spring” to see that globalists manipulate legitimate social anger over legitimate oppression in order to create a rebellion that they can dictate.  The destabilization of Syria being perhaps the most blatant act of fabricated insurgency by international financiers in history.

Though brutal and bloody, revolution is actually a very natural human act of balance which counters the unnatural and engineered functions of centralization.  Human beings are not meant to be “ruled”.  The spirit of individualism, inherent in every person from the moment of birth, strikes hard against the visible construction of any cage.  We are designed to rebel.  It is a fact of our existence.

Only an oblivious fool would try to deny that America is on the verge of revolution today.  Public discontent politically, socially, and economically, is at an apex not seen in decades.  The White House under the presidency of Barack Obama is in a shambles, sweltering in a sweaty sauna of corruption and scandal.  The revelation of Nixon’s Watergate is a joke compared to the Benghazi conspiracy of covertly funded Syrian insurgency and false flag treason against a U.S. diplomat, the IRS persecution of conservative opposition, the wiretapping and privacy invasion of mainstream journalists, the admission of assassination initiatives against American citizens, etc, etc.  Truly, whether you consider yourself on the “right”, or the “left”, if you have any sense of conscience or honor, Barack Obama is a monster of epic proportions.

That said, I challenge you to question whether or not Obama is the real danger, or just a boogeyman being used to control YOUR sense of rebellion?

The American citizenry is ready to snap.  I can feel it, and I think many others out there can feel it too.  A fight is inevitable.  The question is, what will be the form of that fight, and who will ultimately determine the outcome?  There is a lot of talk in the Liberty Movement today concerning “solutions” which I believe, according to historical reference, are perfect examples of controlled opposition.  After several years working in the movement, I’ve heard it all

Military Coup

The idea of military coup against the Obama Administration is alluring for several reasons.  For one, it comforts those people who fear personal sacrifice or direct conflict.  There are many out there, even in the Liberty Movement, who are desperate to avoid confrontation.  They don’t want to lose their property, they don’t want to lose their job security, they don’t want to enter into combat, and they certainly don’t want to lose their lives in the process.  These fears are understandable, but ultimately irrelevant.

The military coup concept feeds into the apprehensions of the common activist by giving them a false “way out”.  If “patriotic” generals within the military rise up against the Obama regime and wrest power from its clutches, then average citizens will be spared the heartbreak and terror of fighting for themselves.  They will not have to devise their own strategies, their own structures, or their own end solutions.  They merely have to sit back, allow military factions to defeat the “evil usurper”, and then enjoy whatever government the leaders of the coup devise.  Surely, anything would be better than to continue under the rule of a communist thug

I would point out, however, that this is NOT what the Founding Fathers did, which is one of the reasons why they were so successful.  Revolutionary leadership was maintained by citizens, not a cadre of military elites, and the aftermath of victory was managed by those chosen by the people to lead, not those chosen by generals. The war was fought by regular men, living regular lives, in support of beloved families.  It was exactly because those men had everything to lose that they were driven so completely to succeed.  They were fighting for their homes, and their principles.  Not for political power.

I would also point out that most military brass hold views consistent with Neo-Conservative or even Neo-Liberal ideologies, both of which are slightly different versions of the same globalist religion.  They may preach to us about their grand designs for freedom, but in reality, many of them are seeking to co-opt our resolve and use it to foment a controlled and homogenized uprising that will end in the same tyranny that we originally hoped to defeat.

A military coup is not a silver bullet solution to our problems.  It may appear to be easier, but there will never be true freedom for any of us without tangible sacrifice.  This battle is ours.  Beware of anyone who strolls out of nowhere and offers to fight it for you.

March On Washington D.C.

Our problems will not be solved by military coup exactly because Barack Obama is not the primary source of our problems.  He is a middle-man, a mascot, a salesman for the collectivist dictatorship, and nothing more.  Getting rid of him in the wrong way will only exacerbate our dilemma.

Because our fight is with a globalist element that uses government as a tool, rather than a seat of power, removing one abusive president will change nothing.  This is why the “March on Washington” idea is strategic idiocy at its most dangerous and clichĂ©.  I can’t tell you how many times over the years I have heard chest beating activists wail in anger, wondering “why, oh why!” we don’t all simply “take up arms” and march to the capital.  Well, here are few good reasons

First, how many successful revolutions began with a march on a government center?  I can’t think of any.  But, I can think of a few military campaigns that were thwarted by dumb marches led by thoughtless leaders.  What about the battles of Lexington and Concord, in which Lt. Colonel Francis Smith of the British Army under the direction of General Thomas Gage led 700 regulars into a wasp’s nest of colonials who proceeded to wipe them out and fully launch the revolution with the American people clearly established in the eyes of the world as the defenders, and the British as the aggressors?

What about the ill conceived Confederate march on Fort Sumter which painted them as dangerous aggressors against the North, haunting the southern campaigns throughout the Civil War, and has even been partly attributed as a reason for their eventual defeat?

What about the hubris driven march of George Armstrong Custer, right into the mouth of enemy territory, on ground which the enemy was vastly more familiar, and against a force of far greater strength?  That didn’t end so well either

No one with any legitimate combat sense would ever suggest that a REVERSE Lexington is a good idea for the Liberty Movement today, and, no one with any understanding of asymmetric warfare would condescend to lead thousands of patriots into D.C., into what amounts to an elongated kill box, or an immediate surrender.  The message sent during such a campaign would be “hey, we’re gullible, please kill us”, or, “hey, we’re pansies, please take our weapons and lock us away without a fight”.  In either case, we lose, and all in the name of an ill conceived attack on a bunch of paid cronies and a puppet president, rather than the men behind the curtain.  Dumb.  Very dumb

Rely On Opposing Party Leadership

The Republican Party is an embarrassment to many conservatives, but not for the reasons that should be most embarrassing.  Sadly, many Americans only care about belonging to the “winning side”, rather than the right side.  Currently, Republican excuses for consistent losses revolve around the fantasy of “changing demographics” and “a disconnection from the more moderate and liberal public”.  These scapegoats have nothing to do with the disintegration of the Republican Party.

In truth, the Republican establishment continues to degrade not because it does not appeal to some imaginary growing faction of budding American socialists, but because it no longer appeals to conservatives and constitutionalists.  The Neo-Con leadership of the backwards party continuously supports nearly identical legislative actions to the hated Obama paradigm.  Unfortunately, there are still some naïve people out there who hope against hope that the GOP will rise up and defeat the Democratic stronghold, all while the GOP openly energizes Democratic policies.

Consider that both Republicans and Democrats strong armed the American public into massive banker bailouts which have so far produced no real jobs, and no tangible recovery, but have created perhaps the largest stock bubble the world has ever seen.

Consider the “Safe Act” legislation of New York, which imposes draconian restrictions on the 2nd Amendment; long held as a Republican line in the sand.  Yet, 11 Republicans voted YES in line with Democrats to pass the bill.

Consider that many Neo-Con Republicans attacked the filibuster against anti-gun rights legislation in the Senate as if the move was “outlandish”.

Consider that the wire tapping of the Obama Administration is merely an extension of the wire tapping used by the Bush Administration under FISA and the Patriot Act.

Consider the expansion of executive assassination and rendition powers under the NDAA, which are widely supported by both Republicans and Democrats.

Consider that the AUMF, the resolution which is often used to justify the further passage of NDAA provisions for treatment of U.S. citizens as “enemy combatants”, was established under George W. Bush, and is defended to this day by many Republicans despite the abuses of Barack Obama.

Consider that provisions within the latest immigration legislation that call for biometric ID’s as well as tracking of U.S. citizens are supported by both Democrats and Republicans.

Consider that John McCain, often labeled a “die-hard Republican” and hero to islamophobes everywhere, has now personally visited with Syrian insurgents openly working with Al Qaeda to overthrow the Assad government.  These are the same insurgents that have been accused of false flag chemical weapons attacks which were then blamed on Assad, and the same insurgents that have a penchant for severing the heads and eating the raw hearts of their prisoners in front of video cameras.  For all the talk of Obama being secretly supportive of Islamic terrorism, the Republicans seem to be just as friendly.

I could go on and on, but I think my point is clear; there is no light at the end of the election tunnel in the Republican Party.  The Neo-Cons and the Neo-Libs have the same objective, total centralization and the dissolution of U.S. sovereignty.  Both parties are merely continuing the perpetual game of good-cop vs. bad-cop, switching roles every decade or so to keep the public confused and dependent on the system rather than enforcing their own solutions.  Barack Obama is nothing more than a fulcrum point – a useful piece of leverage meant to push Americans from one fake initiative to the next, or to divide us completely.  Our fight is not with Obama, it is with ALL globalists who obstruct our liberty, regardless of what party they are affiliated with.  If we allow the debate, and the battle, to be framed around the superficial Obama presidency, then we have allowed ourselves to be co-opted, and any revolutionary action we take afterwards will end exactly like the fabricated Bolshevik rebellion; it won’t mean a damn thing.

When to Bug Out: Knowing the Signs

Wednesday, May 29th, 2013

images-2

One of the largest concerns during a disaster situation is when to leave. Hurricanes, floods, chemical leaks, societal breakdowns and terrorist attacks – all  cause major evacuation disruptions in urban areas when too many people are trying to flee at the same time. We have seen this with such disasters as 9-1-1, Hurricane Katrina, and evacuations from mass wildfires.

While it is important  to listen and keep up to date on the current status of a disaster, as a societal whole, we have placed far too much emphasis on the government telling us when the appropriate time to evacuate is. It is important to emphasize that the needs and agendas of a local government are different than the citizens. Relying solely on the government’s ability to manage a crisis, takes the power out of a person’s hands and places into a stranger’s hands (who may not have your best interests in mind). Many have forgotten this and rely only on a governmental body to tell them when they can leave. The bottom line is the action of packing up and evacuating rests in the evacuees hands; not the governments or the businesses telling the person they have to work until they believe it is time to leave.

Don’t Be Another Statistic

In a situation where people are facing an evacuation order, time is precious.  Typically, people are not ready, or for that matter, prepared to bug out. For that matter, when unpreparedness is coupled on the individual level and the local or federal level, it leads to breakdowns that can cause interruptions in emergency response, crime waves, and disturbances in recovery plans.

During the evacuation of Hurricane Katrina, many state and local governments waited until the very last moment to issue an evacuation order, thus causing  1 million individuals to evacuate an area over hundreds of thousands of square miles in a 2-3 day time span. This caused nothing but mass chaos and unnecessary conflict.

If one lives in an area where they could be prone to disasters, it is always the best bet to have the following ready:

  • A well defined preparedness plan with maps and alternative routes in place.  Don’t leave unless there is a plan in place.  A person who is prepared to leave and has a set destination in mind is more prepared than the person who is scrambling around their home trying to find items and not even thinking about what their emergency plan will be.
  • Have an evacuation checklist on hand. This ensures that you have everything you need packed.
  • A 72 hour bag that is ready to go for the family as well as a bag for any pets. Make sure that you have the right types of food packed.
  • Leave as soon as possible.  Do not wait until they have opened up the contraflow lanes to evacuate.
  • Have some money set aside for an emergency.  Anticipate that ATM machines and banks will be closed.  Example: You finally get on the road and realize you are low on gas. All the banks and ATMs are closed.  In this scenario, once the gas runs out, you will be stuck  with no money for food, shelter or transportation.
  • Make sure the Bug Out Vehicle (BOV) is well maintained.  Having the proper items to keep it going can be of great value in a disaster situation.  Items such as an oil, extra tire, fix-a-flat, collapsible shovel, etc.

Knowledge is Critical

Knowledge is essential in any type of emergency evacuation scenario. Imagine how important it would be if  someone had the advantage of having the information to leave 3 hours before everyone else did. If they were already prepared and ready to go, it would be a hugeadvantage.

  • Awareness of the different advisory forms to get the most information.  A person does not have to listen to the TV to get information.  There are many types of emergency advisories: radio, police scanners, Internet, twitter, and even a cell phone disaster alert system to alert a person at the earliest time possible.  This will give someone a heads up of what it to come.
  • Know which station on the radio has Emergency Broadcast Stations.

Every minute is critical when bugging out.  If a person is not prepared, then they are losing valuable time.  Using all known communication resources to get information and staying clued in will put a person at a greater advantage than those only listening to one type of communication form.  Gathering information ahead of time of what the possible threat is (flood preparation, hurricane preparation, tornado, societal uprising, etc), and finding ways to avoid them will put a person in a better mind frame when they actually have to come head to head with the threat.

Know The Signs

Waiting until an evacuation order is issued is considered too late for many people who consider themselves prepared.  Knowing the signs and acting on them is the key to bugging out at the best time.  If a person knows what to look for, they can prepare to leave ahead of the hoard of evacuees.

Some signs include:

  • When people begin buying emergency food and water supplies.
  • Hearing the news sources talking about a possible threat is the time to begin preparing to leave.
  • Seeing long lines at the bank where people are withdrawing money is a sign that something is up.
  • Long gas lines is also an indicator of people beginning to prepare for a possible evacuation.
  • Increased military and police presence in the streets and the community.
  • Long lines at home improvement stores from people trying to buy supplies to prepare homes for disasters, buying generator needs, etc.

If a person is already prepared for such a disaster, they will not have to wait in lines full of stressed out people, not have to fight their way through a grocery store or get into a possible altercation trying to fill their cars with gas.  In times of crises, many are not prepared, and the stress levels are increased exorbitantly.  Everyone has one thing on their mind – getting supplies and getting out.  If a person already has their supplies in order, getting out ahead of everyone will put them at a greater advantage.

Consider the Dangers and Know the Threats

Knowing when to bug out solely depends upon the person and what they are trying to avoid.  It is better to be safe than sorry.  Obviously, evacuating in a high stress situation is absolutely the worst case scenario; yet, this tends to be the norm for many.  Many play into the illusion that bad things cannot happen to them, so why bothering in planning for it?  This mind frame is what leads to dangerous situations.

Many who wait until the government suggests it is necessary to evacuate will have more of a chance of getting caught in mass chaos, be amongst unprepared and stressed out drivers, and possibly face bouts of crime.  Leaving at the wrong time can put a person and their family into jeopardy.  Seeing the signs and knowing when to bug out will play a pivotal role in evacuating safely.  Not to mention giving a person the advantage of having the right mind set, leaving quickly, and more importantly – safely.

In Memoriam: Putting American Democracy on Sale

Wednesday, May 29th, 2013

memorial_day

Well, another Memorial Day has come and gone.  Another day when we were supposed to remember those who gave their lives to preserve our democracy by working ourselves into a shopping frenzy to get really great friggin’ deals on stuff.

This confluence of commercial excess and sacrifice is the ultimate irony.  Because, while we chase bargains and debate the endless faux war on terror, we are ignoring what amounts to a real war being waged right under our collective national nose.  Our foe has already taken over our government and undermined our freedoms.  We are on the beachhead, standing at democracy’s Dunkirk.

That war is between public good and private profits.  And the public is losing. In fact, it’s a rout.

This war is an existential threat to our democracy, and it has the capacity to enslave us in a system that is little better than serfdom.  Yes, we have more stuff than serfs did, but our power, our dignity and our wealth are being systematically stripped from us.

How else do you explain the fact that we can’t pass a bill requiring background checks for gun purchasers when 90% of the citizens want one?

How else do you explain our failure to end subsidies for big oil when 74% of Americans want to?

How else do you explain the fact that when the majority of citizens favor allowing tax cuts for those earning over $250,000 to expire, the best we can do is compromise on $400,000?

How else do you explain that when, for decades now, some 70% of Americans consider climate change to be a high priority issue,  we’ve taken no action.

How else do you explain that when some 80% of Americans favor shoring up Social Security even if it means higher taxes and a similar number support retaining Medicare as is, we’re considering cuts to both programs?

How else do you explain the fact that students can’t discharge debts in bankruptcy, but corporations and fat cats can?

How else do you explain that when more than 80% of Americans want to clamp down on Wall Street we get only weak-sister legislation that is being completely eviscerated as it is translated into regulations.

These are not isolated issues.  In case after case where the wishes of ordinary citizens collide with those of the powerful and the rich, we lose.

And the consequences are dire.  Our wages are flat-lined, and have been for decades.  The amount of wealth held by the few continues to skyrocket –  the top 20% now holds 80% of the nation’s wealth, while the remaining 80% have only 20% of it.  And it’s getting worse.  Meanwhile, income mobility is down; the American dream is turning into a nightmare and Horatio Alger is dead.

The streets of our capital are occupied by an army of more than 12,000 paid lobbyists – mercenaries in the war on public good.  They write our laws, decide our budgets, define our future.

There’s an all-out assault on the public sector.  Unions are being busted; public programs are being starved into incompetence and that incompetence is being used as justification for further assaults on the credibility and effectiveness of the pubic sector.

For example, the flood of private money unleashed by Citizen’s United resulted in some 6,000 applications for non-profit status, the overwhelming majority of them from conservative organizations funded by front groups.  When a beleaguered section of the IRS—starved of resources by Republican budget cuts—tried to cope with this flood of applicants by using search terms as a shortcut, it was labeled as a politically motivated “scandal.” It was politically tone-deaf, but no scandal.  In actuality it was a desperate attempt by a woefully underfunded IRS to confront illegal actions, most from conservative organizations.  The classic two-step; create an issue by gutting government’s capacity, then use the resulting issue to justify more cuts.

This two step has been used against the post-office, teachers, firefighters, transportation workers—anyone in the public sector.  And under the guise of “necessary” austerity (in a time of rapidly shrinking deficits) Republicans are trying to do the same with Social Security, Medicare, student loans, etc. etc. etc.

Why?  The prize is privatization; turning public sector programs administered for the public good, into profit centers for private gain. Robbing the many, to benefit the few. At stake, is tens of trillions of dollars a year.  Privatizing Social Security alone would pump more than a trillion dollars a year into Wall Street. Privatizing public education could put more than $780 billion into corporate coffers.  Privatizing publicly funded health care could turn over another trillion plus dollars. On and on it goes.

Similarly, if government were to address climate change in a meaningful way, it would mean leaving $20 trillion worth of assets in the ground.

The first casualty in this war had to be our freedoms.  Our votes had to be neutralized by money and wedge issues.

Tyranny, it turns out, comes most often from within: it rides on steeds of fear, hate, bigotry, anger, and greed, and persuades us to freely give away that which others have not been able to take.

And it makes a mockery of the nearly 750,000 thousand men and women who have given their lives to preserve our freedom.
