ABC, CBS, and NBC gave five times more airtime to pushing gun control than they did supporting gun rights after the Las Vegas mass shooting, according to a new study.

The Media Research Center analyzed all of the statements about guns the three broadcast networks carried between Oct. 2 and Oct. 8. In just six days, the networks managed to favor gun control over gun rights by a 5:1 ratio.

Between the anchors, reporters, guests and soundbites, the three networks used 30 minutes and 17 seconds to argue in favor of gun control and used just 6 minutes and 27 seconds to favor gun rights.

Outside of overall arguments for or against gun control, the networks also spent a whopping 28 minutes and 30 seconds pushing for regulation of bump stocks. One minute and 47 seconds were given to those opposed to additional regulations on bump stocks.

Combining their words on general firearm use and bump stocks, ABC, CBS, and NBC spent just short of an hour across the six day period arguing for some form of gun regulation.

On “NBC Nightly News,” anchor Tom Brokaw went hard after the National Rifle Association and encouraged viewers to “speak up” against the gun rights organization.

“I would say to this audience, and any audience before which I appear these days, we are where we are because of the power of people who wanted these kinds of guns. And the NRA managed to organize them and get them as a political force in America,” Brokaw said. “We’re a long way away from that Second Amendment in which we said that a militia is important to our country….I think that we have to step up, all of us, and speak up.”

On ABC’s “Good Morning America,” George Stephanopoulos trashed the White House for “stop[ping] any debate about gun control before it begins,” while his coanchor Robin Roberts praised late night comedian Jimmy Kimmel for “taking a big stand on gun control.”

Overall, NBC was the biggest gun grabber, managing a 10:1 ratio of gun control vs. gun rights. CBS came in second with an approximately 4:1 ratio, and ABC trailed with a close to 3:1 ratio.

  • And an army of gun buyers march on gun stores all over the United States. Soon you all will be armed up and the civil war can be started. Have fun.

    • Phil_Ossifer

We’ve arguably had a low-key civil war going on for a while now and it’s showing signs of heating up big-time, and soon. Not good, but I can’t see any real alternative to an all-out conflict. Pray for peace but prepare for war.

      I welcome it.

Gun control is most needed in DC halls of power where the wars/regime changes are planned.

  • Phil_Ossifer

Nothing new but it still needs to be said. The MSM is the PR arm of the Democratic Party and the Democrats were long ago hijacked by the shitlibs. Look for a lot more of this in the future. The good news is, they can rant all they want, it doesn’t seem to make much difference as far as legislation is concerned. For now, anyway.

    • Frank Energy

And the shitlibs were hijacked by the globalists who wish to weaken, degrade, and divide the USA to make it more manageable.

And to be clear, 95% of the globalists are Zionists (an extreme class of Jew)

Did you get the graphic image for this story from the Networks? Just wondering because nobody with any sort of training walks around like that with their finger on the trigger unless they are hoping to shoot themselves in the foot.

This is what happens when the “People” do not own the stations. So one guess who owns them. Answer: same families who own our government.

Israhell and the Zio-pigs. One in the same.

  • RandyJ/ProudSurvivor

I could see the network news organizations for what they were when I was in high school. That was a LONG time ago. Not much has changed except for their blatant editorializing against the Second Amendment. I tell people now, if you want any semblance of factual reporting, quit the MSM and start looking at the alt sites.
News anchors are now paid by the millions to pontificate to the masses on behalf of their corporate masters. Real journalism has been replaced by talking heads who are now nothing more than propagandists.

    • jimmy joe

We all know there are 2 sides, at least, to every story, yet, we are supposed to take their word for it, on whatever they decide to feed the masses? If we dare to question their almighty word, we are “conspiracy theorists”? What the hell happened to journalism? Of course, the masses have been lied to for a long time, its only now, with the internet, allowing for way more in depth open source investigations, that the facts are starting to see some light.

I hate these losers on these “news” shows … esp that little faggot George…talentless, no personality…why is he on tv?

Would we expect anything else from the state controlled propaganda channels?

    • Frank Energy

Actually the state and news are controlled by the same peoples, the zionist globalists. The super rich. BTW the entertainment industry is also controlled by same said asshats that be

What took you whackanoids so long? The ‘Principal’ of the Sandy Hoax ‘school’ hadn’t even risen from the dead for her ‘interview’ after getting shot before you libbiot mouthpieces were shouting to ban guns!!

    • Every call to ban guns sells 20 new ones. One should ask about the motive.

Here’s my strategy. Sharpshooter is my nickname. I don’t really have a gun. I will change my surname to Sharpstein for career reasons.
Got me thinking now. I wonder if any fake yid has already done this LOL.

    All gun laws are treason.

  • csfurious

Anyone who still watches the nightly news on ABC/CBS/NBC and believes what they are told has zero intellectual capacity and is simply a Sheeple who is being sheared.

  • The problem’s not guns but the Second Amendment.

Could it be that the Second Amendment’s partially to blame for what took place in Las Vegas?

Had the constitutional framers not replaced the Biblical responsibility to bear arms in defense of ourselves, our families, and others (per Psalm 149:6-9 and 1 Timothy 5:8) for the Enlightenment right to do so (per the Second Amendment), Paddock and other murders would be less likely to attempt such shootings knowing that every Christian would probably be armed and ready to take them out at the first sign of their intentions.

Furthermore, an optional right is much more liable for control and limitation than is a non-optional responsibility.

Case in point: The Amendment WITH the wording “shall not be infringed” is the MOST infringed, licensed, and limited Amendment of the entire twenty seven. Furthermore, a future generation of our posterity is likely to see the Second Amendment whittled away entirely or repealed altogether. This is inherent nature and danger of optional Enlightenment rights versus non-optional Biblical responsibilities, such as the following:

“Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword [or today’s equivalent in their hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye Yah.” (Psalm 149:6-9)

“But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house [including spiritual and physical protection], he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1 Timothy 5:8)

Under the Second Amendment, it’s your optional right to protect your family. According to 1 Timothy 5:8, you’re worse than infidel if you fail to do so. Which do think is more potent? What do you think the pre-Second Amendment Americans looked to for their authority to bear arms?

While I get your point, it’s important to remember that a key, pivotal element of The Founders vision was a nation with freedom of religion. The Constitution was written so as to include all citizens, religion notwithstanding. Many Christians feel slighted by this, but it was very consistent with their views of self determination and how liberty must look for everyone-Christians and non Christians alike. However, it is very interesting that so much of the opposition to the Second Amendment seems to come from a more secular point of view.

      • Randy, thanks for your input.

Yes, the cadre of 18th-century Enlightenment and Masonic founding fathers thought they knew better than their God and Creator:

Liberty was formally lost in America when the 18th-century
Enlightenment founders made liberty a goal (almost a god) instead of a corollary of implementing Yahweh’s perfect law of liberty (Psalm 19:7-11, 119:44-45, James 2:12, beginning with the First Commandment) as the supreme law of the land.

“[B]ecause they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law … they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind….” (Hosea 8:1, 7)

Today’s America is reaping the inevitable ever-intensifying whirlwind resulting from the wind sown by the constitutional framers.

Today’s mantra is “Liberty, liberty!” when there is no liberty.
Patrick Henry, who refused to attend the Constitutional Convention as one of Virginia’s delegates (declaring “I smelt a rat!”), understood the framers’ specious claim to liberty. Convinced the Constitution would fail to secure and protect liberty, Patrick Henry voiced his concerns to the Virginia Ratifying Convention in 1788:

“…I say our privileges and rights are in danger. …the new form of Government … will … effectually … oppress and ruin the people…. In some parts of the plan before you, the great rights
of freemen are endangered, in other parts, absolutely taken away…. There will be no checks, no real balances, in this Government: What can avail your specious imaginary balances, your rope-dancing, chain-rattling, ridiculous ideal checks and contrivances? …And yet who knows the dangers that this new system may produce: they are out of the sight of the common people: They cannot foresee latent consequences…. I see great jeopardy in this new Government.” (Patrick Henry, Ralph Ketcham, ed., “Speeches of Patrick Henry (June 5 and 7, 1788),” The Anti-Federalist Papers and the Constitutional Convention Debates (New York, NY: Penguin Books, 2003, 2nd ed.) pp. 200-08)

In contrast to the federalists’ failed predictions, this and nearly
everything the anti-federalists forecast about the Constitution (even with the addition of the Bill of Rights) has come true. The
constitutional framers could not provide their fellow Americans with liberty (nor can their disciples today) for the simple reason that blindleaders cannot lead other blind men to safety, any more than slaves can confer freedom on fellow slaves:

“[I]f the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” (Matthew 5:14)

“While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption….” (2 Peter 2:19)

The answer to this self-imposed delusion is provided by Jeremiah two verses later:

“Thus saith Yahweh, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls….” (Jeremiah 6:16)
