  • “AMERICAN KIDS 70 PERCENT MORE LIKELY TO DIE THAN OTHER RICH NATIONS.” When did kids become nations?

  • Cynical Old Bastard

I’m somewhat confused here; Are the kids more likely to die than the nation?

That’s damned sure what the headline states.

Now, if we are to infer that you mean the kids in those other nations (we’ll not address the “rich” part) then we have a whole other problem.

    A conundrum, if you rather.

Since every person ever born has had a 100% certainty of dying, logic dictates that American kids have 100% certainty of dying as well. It’s only a matter of when.

Now, let’s break it down to simpler terms: 170/100= a ratio of 1to 1.7. This can be easily attributed to many factors… Not the least of which is the utter stupidity people seem be increasingly afflicted with.

    Fix your headlines.

What these so-called “surveys” do not indicate is race. The reason for the USA having a low score is because of the large number of Blacks and Hispanics, who have more health problems. Also, Black parents have a habit of neglecting their children, which contributes to the higher death rates.
